121  Bitcoin / Group buys / Re: [OPEN] Prisma 1.4Th/s group buy @ 1.42 btc with coupon on: October 25, 2014, 02:49:12 AM
Why was last post removed with the link to a website for orders was it removed off topic or for being scam related>?

You tell us, you are "buying" from them in the other thread, so you must know if it's a scam or not?

Seriously, one noob buying from another noob without escrow... try harder.
Nice be a d* I simply stated on the other thread that I did make a purchase and did not recommend anyone else do the same yeah was a stupid move and asking the moderator of this thread why they removed the post is not a bad thing most of the time some indication of why is mentioned but you keep on enjoying, being an ass I'm sure it works well for ya. Secondly when most people use "quotes" they actually quote something in my other post the word "buying" is nowhere to be found and your extensive background since boomtime jan. 2014 makes you so much better then me, my lowly misguided newb self I appreciate your grizzled beaten response as your being taken for thousands by the likes of BFL etc has made you into the mentor and shining beacon you are to this community today.

one thing that might help is a picture of the pallet(s) of the miners in question I believe anyone that can see those would be a little more onboard etc. Or a purchase order from friedcat showing the purchase and delivery of 500+ miners 1 ph/s + is a huge order

I will confirm come Monday as long as I receive tracking info I know that a newbie account with a new website is risky and now after paying 1.41 btc I have no recourse, but I am hoping this to be legit, this is by no means a promotion of this seller until i have verifiable tracking information but I am one member that has paid for 1 I was waiting for crazyguys on asicpuppy for a second one as I am waiting on batch 5 for another and may have definitely jumped the gun however I will state that after funds sent OP has contacted me back.

I have 2 prisma's on the way as soon as up will report I will be using a rasp pi with new cgminer so should not have any of the problems with certain pools the BE controller had with the tubes (btw those problems were not on Slush's pool) as far as data from those that are running 1400-1440 gh/s at about 1200 w from the wall is what most are seeing

I believe you are talking about the 7 day luck which may have just processed a 8-9 block day into calc after we had those horrific days of 35 hour block 1-2 blocks a day for 4 days once again we dont know what time frames or parameters he uses to pull a snapshot of luck

Gosh waiting for this new equipment suxs...... sold off most all my miners going for higher density and lower power draw hence sold the cointerra's buying prisma's but nothing to check on and man things have gotten quiet and cold in my house Grin Grin Grin

percent calculations are all with times based on UTC so new days start at a complete different time frame then mst. or est. as was stated we dont know the exact parameters used for the simple luck calculation 54% could easily be 3 blocks found last 24 hours based on shares submitted vs current cdf 3 blocks close to 220 billion shares current dif 35b etc but without knowing his starting or calculation parameters its conjecture but you could tell me again about being a telco trainer  Tongue

LOL

134  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: [9000 TH] Slush's Pool (mining.bitcoin.cz); TX FEES + VarDiff on: October 21, 2014, 05:14:47 AM
well 2 close to flat diff jumps looks fantastic adds another two weeks to the life of some miners Grin

Certainly does.  I think many miners are still safe at for a little while.  For some reason the hash rate gets high over the weekend then gets back lower after the weekend.  I don't know why?  If I had miners, I would keep them on 24/7 as long as I could.
well some companies hash on equipment they are supposed to ship you know well we cant ship sat or sun so lets point em at our pool etc

What's the diff in price?

Edit: Make sure you check desables. Most miners other than bitmain are LOUD. I have two Rockminer RK-Boxes that sound as loud as a big vaccum machine.
these are loud hence why i got the wifi so i can set in my garage in an area i dont have cable ran for the 20 dollar mod it was worth not having to break out a drill etc lmao the fan puts out crazy cfm and pressure link below

I understand as I was really wanting to stay with a all in one like s3's and my cointerra however i was able to sell my cointerra and one s3 on ebay to buy 1 prisma with rpi and image and wifi and had the btc i mined last month from those 2 to get the other i will hash 1th/s faster and use 1000w less power so for me it was an easy decision the gui that crazy has running on the connected pi makes it pretty straight forward 8 pool failover etc is nice and since wifi wont be as affected with network issues by using same usb port for network traffic and connecting the prisma's the S4 was just as much an investment as PSU's if I needed as I would need to make some electrical changes Etc buying appropriate power cords and having outlets rated to handle the load so for me personally 1100 dollars for 2.8th/s was the better route even having to buy psu i could of gotten 4 650w for prob 100-200 max  Grin
140  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: [9000 TH] Slush's Pool (mining.bitcoin.cz); TX FEES + VarDiff on: October 20, 2014, 12:53:33 AM
Ya, it plugs into the pi which has mining software on it. Again I recommend the pi or A10cubie over the BE controller.

Which do you think is better, pi or A10cubie?
Pi is cheaper I have PSU's and you only need 1200 watts which can be split such as 650w controlling 2 of the 4 boards and a 650 on other 2 since 4 independent boards make one prisma
