121  Economy / Economics / Re: How adoption will happen on: April 19, 2019, 10:43:58 AM
Is it going to start with poor countries and their dictators?
Is it going to start in the USA with their SEC and ETF and everything?
Discuss.
Usually adoption is meant to start from the stronger nations and pass it down to the weaker ones, but unfortunately, I think reverse is the case with what I have seen so far, so many nations that I have seen adopting cryptocurrency are even the smaller ones, some of them have even regulated it.

It’s a good thing too that its being recognized gradually, just that the influence it will have on the whole world when it is being adopted by stronger nations like USA and others will higher and faster than that of the weaker ones. We really need to get these large nations into adopting cryptocurrency, so that the awareness across the world can be as fast as possible.

Legalization and regulation will open many doors for mass adoption
Those two are easier ways up to main stream adoption but might kill few of decentralization characteristics too. Hence, slow and steady adoptions along with appropriate infrastructures developments alone will ensure decentralization while achieving main stream adoptions.
122  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I deposit 37001 whitecoins to cryptopia exchange this week by mistake on: April 19, 2019, 10:05:16 AM
If you couldn’t get solution from them directly, then there is nothing any one here can do to help you, except you want to talk to an hacker to hack your coin back, lol. And this, I think it is impossible again for anyone to hack them.

I guess you just have to let that one go man, sorry for your lost, hope the value of your coin in dollars is not that much, I can imagine how painful it will be, and I am very sure you must have learned your lessons never to be too much in a haste in doing things, and always take your time to verify the address before sending. Just hope that they will get back on their feet and they can help you.

Better still, what if you cut a deal with them, it is better to have some back than not to get at all, why not offer them 30% of it, while they return 70% back to you.
123  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Security token platforms - state of development on: April 19, 2019, 05:55:17 AM
Right from the very first day I heard about polymath, I believed in their project and I knew that they will have so much value to offer, this is because they saw that the future of ICO is at stake and STO will be the new thing that everyone wants to participate in, so they went ahead and created a platform where one could deploy security tokens on their blockchain, it is very easy to detect good projects when you see one.

the most promising one is Dusk Network. When it will be ready, i think it will hit the market very hard.
Dusk network ? I am hearing it for the first time. Let me google on it. I slowly switching over to STO after lots of good and bad experiences with ICO contributions Cool.
124  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: When Ethereum POS will be implemented?? on: April 19, 2019, 04:56:25 AM
Could somebody help me with what exactly happening with Ethereum POS implementation . Constantinople was dropped because of Auditing firm reported issue in fork . How about casper implementation . Will ethereum supply will be limited to atleast 130 million . Any insight on this .
I too is very curious about this too, because I think that event will be one of what will drive the price of ethereum to a very high rate, I learnt from the crypto news few days back that the cofounder of ethereum said that the price of ethereum would increase about 1000x, I don't think a person would be able to say this unless they already have a plan on ground that would cause the price of the coin to increase so massively, and my best guess is that the full implementation of POS will be the event to cause this growth.

I can understand that turning to pos from pow a huge change and they want everything to be perfect otherwise everything can turn shit.
It is not that huge in terms of development but really a huge in terms of investors' perspective. I mean ethertum is already having a very good dev team and for them adding a new algorithm will not be a big thing as POS is here for years and it will not be a complete switch but just an addition.
125  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Coin cleansing on: April 18, 2019, 07:40:56 PM
Wow, this is why I like binance so much, they don't joke with their investors and they also don't joke with their words too, they always make sure to deliver on what they have promised, I believe this is going to shoot wright up who have been ranting all over the media saying that he is satoshi who invented bitcoin, when we are all not convinced that he is not satoshi and can never be satoshi, I think every platform needs to take this decision that binance has taken so that together we can secure this our great community from threat.

I received mail mentioning that kraken will be delisting BCHSV and read some where shapeshit will be joining for delisting but I just checked in bittrex that BCHSV gained some 1+% and trading above 0.011BTC and I am not happy as its crash may help bitcoin to recover up to $6800 levels.
126  Economy / Speculation / Re: Get ready for lots of negative articles on bitcoin on: April 18, 2019, 07:08:27 PM
I honestly believed there would be much more of them but thankfully this time around news weren't that bad. Maybe because we haven't increased that much, I mean if we reach to 50k tomorrow (obviously won't happen overnight) the amount of negative press will increase a lot so maybe 5k is not enough to credit a negative news wave just yet but nevertheless its good to see not that much bad things about crypto on the news so far.

Hell, there are even good news and potentially good things coming ahead so I think not only we didn't get any negative but we also got some positives so I am very happy about it. Now we gotta wait and see if the price keeps on increasing and if it increases we will have to still be careful because this good positive news wave won't continue forever.
127  Economy / Economics / Re: Crypto Market ‘Bullish’ in Wake of Bitcoin’s 20% Surge on: April 18, 2019, 05:59:50 PM
I think it is looking bright once again, not many people believe it when I say this but I think this resistance will be easier than the one we broke at 4200. That was built for months until we managed to break it so it was definitely something to be considered, we are here for much shorter time now and we didn't fall back that much, we are still holding out strong so that gotta mean that we are going to try to break the next resistance much quicker, it is going to take less money to even test it so we are not going to lose ammo in the way neither. That is why I think because we didn't do anything since the increase we are going to try again very soon and with that try either we are going to break the resistance and go higher or we are going to really leave the resistance very vulnerable.
128  Economy / Speculation / Re: Are We Witnessing The Start Of Another Bull Run? on: April 18, 2019, 05:19:11 PM
The problem here is that everyone knows resistance can't be strong forever, the higher you go and quicker you go the less resistance you get. Not unlike rockets I suppose (not like I know about rockets). The biggest is right before the bull starts, if you go up a bit that is fine, we can go up a bit all the time that is expected, if you go up a lot than its much better but if you skyrocket than nothing else stops you.

Going from 3800 to 4200 was always easy, going from 4200 to 5+ was hard but achieved, now the point is if we can go above 6+ it will become easier, if we go above 8+ it will be even easier. That is why we can't stop because the longer you stop the harder it gets but the quicker you get there the more unprepared the bears will be and unexpectedly we will reach ATH prices.
129  Economy / Speculation / Re: ‘In Crypto We Trust’: Circle CEO Pumps Blockchain at IMF Meeting on: April 18, 2019, 04:42:57 PM
I guess we are talking about the CEO of "circle" which is a purely crypto company, so even though its great that he had speaking time on IMF meeting which is great we can safely assume that he was literally called there to talk about the good things on crypto.

Nobody really expected him to go up there and say crypto sucks or something, everyone knew he would say amazing things about crypto even when he was called to speak there and everyone in the audience knew what he was going to say about crypto. That is the reason I think him being called on stage to speak is a bigger news than what he has said, we knew what he was gonna say but crypto getting big enough to get speaking time at IMF is much bigger news and shows how big we have gotten over the years if you ask me.
130  Economy / Economics / Re: Terrifying $243 Trillion Global Debt Bomb is a Disaster Only Bitcoin Can Fix on: April 17, 2019, 04:38:07 PM
Bitcoin is just a system where you can not really have trust without regulations. If the governments of the world come together and decide that banks can give out loans in bitcoin but somehow put the ledger on a way that you have to pay your loan back otherwise same thing would happen if you do not pay your fiat loan back than the debt will continue.

If they do not try something like that you either own bitcoin or not and that means no more debt, people would have to live with the money they have and not with the money they owe, it will hurt everyone for the longest time and finance will be in dark ages for a while but honestly it would totally solve all this debt crisis everywhere in the world. There is only a certain amount of bitcoin and rich can't have it all which is the best thing about bitcoin.
131  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why do you gamble? Please voice your opinion! on: April 17, 2019, 12:45:34 PM
I believe it is about boredom for me really, I feel like gambling is quite entertaining and something that I have not been bored so far. I have played many games in my life, I am in no way a proper "gamer" but I do have a steam account filled with games and most of them have around 20-25 hours game play time, I get bored of games after I play them for 20+ hours.

Nevertheless, I have been gambling for years and that has always made me a bit of fun really, sometimes I get bored of it but after a break I can come back to it and play it like nothing happened. That is why gambling is just way to entertain myself when I am bored that's it. I never played to earn money, never played it with the idea of betting big or winning big, I see it like a computer game at best and I am just spending money on that that's all.
132  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The Best and Fairest Online Gambling Site on: April 17, 2019, 08:57:31 AM
I am not gonna lie even as an avid stake lover that doesn't look good Cheesy I do promote stake as much as I can wherever I can but I also always stated that its just one casino and competition has always been the point of improvements in any sector. Stake is definitely good but if people want to play on other places they totally can and there is no point of talking about any of them constantly all the time.

I think nitrogen at sportsbook for example is a good alternative with a different game (stake doesn't have sportsbook) and even nitrogen has some rivals as well, SwC at poker is definitely a good rival (stake doesn't have poker) and there are couple of regular casinos that can easily be an alternative, not because they are better but sometimes you get bored of playing at the same place.
133  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Important question to Investors!! on: April 17, 2019, 07:39:11 AM
I did invested in presales before, for a while I haven't because I haven't found one that really interests me at all. I do research in my own ways, its just mathematically in some aspect, I check their roadmap and what they are trying to achieve, if it is really a problem I have too than I move to the team and I check each of them and what they have managed to build so far and than I check the community and the size, if it passes from all three than I invest.

Usually all coins that worth something try to solve a problem, if its solution that it worth something, if its not than I don't even look at it. The perfect coin is the one that has amazing team behind it that is known to previously be part of amazing coins and built something before, that is solving a problem we all have and definitely has a huge community behind it.
134  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: HOW to successfuly participate in an IEO? Initial exchange offering on: April 17, 2019, 06:30:44 AM
hello guys, lately many investors and crypto enthusiasts are excited and talking about IEOS or Initial exchange offerings because of the returns X they get. X3 To 10X their money but not all of us can get in, I've tried to participate in many IEOS but all failed to get in coz I participate manually without using any bots.
so if you successfully participate in any IEO from
binance before lottery system,
LBANK, okex; zbg, Kucoin.......

please share with us your experience, how did you successfully participate did you use any bots?
I think the IEO that is happening right now is not something you would want to get in anyway, it is just too fast and I do not think any coin worth that much attention. Look at the coins that got into the market with IEO and tell me they are THAT good, they are decent coins but not like 10 seconds and gone type of coins neither.

They should had like couple days to get funded, don't get me wrong I am not saying they shouldn't have been funded at all, they should be but instead of 10 seconds maybe should have taken couple days at least. So, wait around until this IEO business gets more regular and than you can definitely find the good ones and invest into those and it will take a humane levels of time to get funded and you can be part of it as well.
135  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Binance going to delisted BitcoinSV on: April 16, 2019, 05:53:00 PM
Delisting and removing from exchange are different concepts. If you delist a coin than you are not allowing anyone to trade that coin which should be done asap, it should have been not allowed to start with so this delisting is a decision that came way too late anyway.

nevertheless, removing from exchange would mean you can't use that exchange to even keep your money, like not even deposit, you can only withdraw the ones you have and that is where we should be heading towards.

Craig lost thousands of bitcoin to win a war against Bitcoin cash that hurt the bitcoin economy and he didn't even win, now the only thing he that he has to show for that horrible bitcoin murder is being delisted and that is just pure bliss for me. He should pay the price for what he has done so far and this should be just the beginning of it.
136  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: The pitiful state of the Chinese economy could weigh on Bitcoin on: April 16, 2019, 04:33:52 PM
Chinese economy is certainly not in pitiful state. There are plenty of stuff going into economy and aspects of it, sometimes some countries are super rich but when you look inside they are all living a good life, sometimes they look super rich but when you look in only the rich are rich and the gap between them and poor are huge.

China is in the second part but even that is getting better, just 20 years ago the poor there worked and lived in their manufacturing factories, they literally only slipped and worked tirelessly and even died there from being tired like hell, today the amount of protection for the workers increased a lot, they are really trying to improve working conditions for everyone, you know how ? They managed not not care about human lives (bad thing) and with the sacrifices made in the 20 years that way they managed to create a better future for themselves.

Now the whole world stopped manufacturing stuff because they knew china would make them far cheaper but after they stopped China realized they are the only source for it and spiked the prices a bit.
137  Economy / Economics / Re: Man who created own credit card sues bank for not sticking to terms on: April 16, 2019, 08:21:04 AM
I guess  it is a bad thing from both sides, we can't really say banks are frauds for making that type of money from stuff that doesn't cost anything but than say kudos to the man for beating the bank at their own game. If something is bad than its bad for everyone not just the banks.

I think he did beat the system in a way and than got away with it but I really instead of making the bank lose a lot of money (which they will take from other people in return) it should just teach them a lesson and fix their own contracts for credit cards. I would rather see millions of people benefit from this instead of just one man who outsmarted the bank. This version only helps argakov and it is temporary, its not going to sustain, but what I suggested could change the lives of many.
138  Economy / Economics / Re: Things I learned through the years of Buying and Trading Bitcoin on: April 14, 2019, 08:10:41 PM
In my experience of being an investor for over 6 years now I can tell you traders are all different people.
Some of them know what they are doing and some of them have no clue what they do but believe me when I say this even the best trader loses time to time, not all can make insane profits.

Let me give you an example of my friend, dude managed to make x10 of his investment during the BEAR run of 2018, yeah you heard it right, on 2018 when everything was going down dude managed to make x10 of his investments, do you know what happened to him later on? He lost almost half of his money on investing into some bad dropping coin on this bull run we are having.

So, dude made money while everything was dropping and lost money while everything was going up. Bitcoin and crypto is not something you can say "you learned" or "you know", we are always learning with each passing day.
139  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Drops Back to $5K Price Support After Failed Breakout on: April 14, 2019, 06:41:06 PM
The good news between all of this is that this small decrease showed that the big time traders and investors took their profits from that increase. Which means they are holding fiat currency now and even though not all of them will reuse it to buy bitcoin we can be certain that most of them will do that.

Now, that we have dropped a bit and the price is a bit behind of what it hit at its peak we can assume those people will try to break this barrier as well, and the next and next one after that, those little "corrections" allows traders to actually get their profits as fiat currency so they could than reuse it to buy more bitcoins once again than again so they could increase the price constantly. That is a way they basically reload their ammo to keep attacking.
140  Economy / Speculation / Re: Arthur Hayes predicts bitcoin rise to $50,000 and the end of cash on: April 14, 2019, 04:06:10 PM
There is no way "cash" is going anywhere, it is the corner stone of peoples spending habits, there are really very few things in life that could replace cash in most places. There are still places that doesn't even accept credit/debit cards and you assume they would turn into crypto instead ?

There is no way that happens and that is why I think cash will be never replaces. It chance shape or form but it will still exist forever, its just too much relied by the poor public. A utopia where people donate crypto to homeless they see on the street ? Really ? That is not going to happen anytime soon man.

I mean maybe in 500+ years we won't have cash but for the foreseeable future there is nothing strong enough to actually cover that need. I think $50k could realistically happen one day but cash will stay strong.
