Hey just wanted to quickly ask you all.

When your Antminer s1 starts to beep,  and sometimes wont even connect....to a pool.....  usually means disconnect beep.  But you disconnect, reset.   Check you pools and sometimes it still doesnt work .  You check the logs, whichs looks like the miner is dissconnecting itself,   or has a problem connecting to stratum.
Than all of a sudden..... It works.

For how long idk.

Also another question.

With the Power cables...plugged in and ethernet plugeed in.  Could you lay the miners down ontop one another with a fan blowing between them.  With the PSU behind or beside.

Maybe just use bolts or something all the way around with rubber in the middle as washer bc of vibrations... laying sideways ontop one another?Huh

Safe, not safe.... oh that will keep you Antminer really cool,    just put another fan on the other side...... Oh whats thats.... ok

No seriously... anyone??? thanks lololol JFL

The best way I get through bitcoins and its dropping and rising price is.   Look at Bitcoins like the stock market.  You could invest $1000 into Bitcoins and you will either make double that or you will loose it all.      Sometimes it will make you a millionaire, sometimes it will make you broke.

It will always drop,  but it will always shoot through the roof again.

It's all about patience.   Just keep mining away and save your bitcoins untill the price rockets again and then sell then sell them.

You win some, you loose some.

You spend money to make money.   Thats key.  You will never make money if you dont spend any money.

difficulty is predicited to drop back to 23 maybe 18.   in the next couple weeks.

I also predict the price per bitcoin shooting through the roof either in a few months, or early 2015.

I for one am keeping my miners online collecting profiit.
Thanks

Its all cool.  And thought I'd help.   That's all.

Guess ill just continue using then for myself.

Probably buy a few more s1s down the road or an s3
But I thin down the road...maybe.  I may update my PSU to 2 850w and have 4 s1s 2 miners on each PSU

Maybe throw in a few USB miners.

But for now I'm completly content with 400GH/S

Thanks for the assistance.

I would do $1.00 for every 4 hrs at 400GH/S

I can do a week for $19.50@ 400
Or
2 weeks for 26.99

PS. These are based off my own calculations and are subject to change.

(We can work out better deals for you aswell.)

I will accept Bitcoins as a payment as well as PayPal.

Woohoo.

Got 2 Antminer S1s online now both clocked and a stable 200GH/s each also got my Antminer U2 USB clocked in at 2.1Gh/s stable.

Bringing in some nice profit.     I've always loved slushs pool.  Fee thing sucks but hey,  you gotta spend money to make money.

One thing with slushs pool that I dont feel I get anywhere else is the fact that, with slushs pool, I've never once felt let down with my rewards.
Because you make up for it in the end.

We have had some slow days, some fast days, some bad days.   But when the time comes around.   You WILL make your money back, no matter what.   Patience my young padawans.    Patience is key.

Nice mining with you all Cheesy

I agree it really does average out and often on the higher side. I might have strayed a few times to compare against new pools offering glitz, glamor, and the promise of high rewards but after a few days I would always end up back here. With that said Slush is one of the most stable and trustworthy pools around and I call this pool my mining home.

After experimenting I agree Slush is definitely the best place to be for me.  I have got my miners set up as rentals as a back up plan.  The rate is set quite high so of they are rented I'm not losing out as it's a steady daily rate.  They're currently being rented for 1 week.

I do agree on that  I to have gone to many other pools comparing and trying out other things,   no matter what there pool was,  there was always something about Slush's that made me always want to come back.   Great place to be.

For anyone wanting to 2 Antminer s1 clocked @ 200Gh/s to Slush's pool.   Let me know and we will work out an awesome contract for you.

I buy contracts some times,   helps with the cash flow a bit.... in the end.

I also do contracts to(I got 2 Antminer s1s clocked at 200GH/s stable)
Just going to help Slushs community.

I will rent out contracts for my miners for a cheap cost(cheaper if you buy more of course)

(If you would like to rent a contract from me inbox me and we will talk about it)

PS. I will give extra credit to ones who use my contracts for Slush's pool instead of other pools.
Thanks

128  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: Asic miner, Big Bang for a Small buck on: August 27, 2014, 07:50:19 PM
I've earned  back what ive paid already.  From owning a cloud miner untill the end of the miners life.

And no that makes complete sense,  these days it doesnt seem to easy to make back your money.

If its not worth it to say buy a few more miners to get atleast 20GHs (maybe even 200)

Would Script mining be more profitable to spend money on?

Either way, I'm still completly open to suggestions.    You MUST spend money in order to make money.  Even it that means going broke,   sometimes spending all your money is the best way to triple your profit.

Espeically with how BTC are dropping and rising.    .05 bitcoins in a year could be worth $600 CAD.  So yea i may loose all my money,  but if it Produce enough speed and save ALL my bitcoins to peak of Bitcoins,  I will have then made my money back when Bitcoin price rockets again.

MY point is,   SPEND money to make money.

I also understand alot of this, Electricity has alot to do with this,  these days i feel like its not even worth it to mine with power.

Thanks your for the assitance.

but in the end,  its ALWAYS WORTH IT, if the price of 1 BTC rockets again, than it will totally be worth it.

I've seen on ebay.  10gh/s  with hub for $42.00
and some how an Antminer s3 (voucher thing ) for like $85.00 but sounds like its the device.

PS.    Would it be more profitable to stick with buying Contract??? or your own personal miner???

It's about 15scent per kilowat an hour.   Cheap but good.
My U2 runs at 2 W.   Barely makes a dent in the electricity.
130  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Asic miner, Big Bang for a Smallish buck on: August 27, 2014, 05:24:38 PM
Hey so iv gotten back into Bitcoin mining after a few years(started cpu mining) and now I've bought an Antminer U2 to get started and try it out it runs on cg-miner at a stable and cool 1.9avg GH/s.   I'm loving it so far.   I've been high into buying contract.    Now i'm looking into buying more miners of my own for personal use.

And for all you miners out there I ask,  what would be the best miner that will make the biggest bang for the smallest buck Id say for right now.   Anything under $150

I have a 4 port 2.0 Belkin powered hub (of course will need another one) Was wondering if anybody has any suggestions on a miner that will give me a big bang for a small buck.
I've been doing weekly research and so far come across weird prices for weird speeds and figured  asking the experienced miners which will be the better miners.

Again anything under $150 CAD im willing to go for.      Please list your suggestions that would be greatly appreciated, thank you.

Thanks
