121  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin price prediction, will it hit >$1k in less than half a year? on: October 17, 2014, 02:16:11 PM
Bitcoin over $1k by EOY 2014, over $10k by EOY 2015. Guaranteed.

Anyone who says otherwise hates freedom.

I hate freedom, but still think the way you do.
122  Economy / Speculation / Re: The BTC market is becoming like the alt pump and dump game on: October 17, 2014, 02:13:15 PM
Sub 250 coming by Monday. Mark my words.

Marked.

it will not happen. not even close.

Why not?
123  Economy / Speculation / Re: Fantastical, we are still discussing $440 is the bottom or not a month ago on: October 17, 2014, 02:11:32 PM
we are still discussing $440 is the bottom or not less than a month ago

and shortly the bottom had already exceeded $350

even a week ago the price broke $300

What do you think is the latest bottom now?

It is obvious that is $42
124  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: NXT Piece of Shit Coin on: October 17, 2014, 01:33:16 PM

Nxt is an amazing project.

Right now it happens to be just about the only cryptocurrency apart from Bitcoin that's any use for anything.

For a start, it has a MASSIVE community who are not just holders but are productive in their own right. You name it - commercial projects, technical projects, complimentary products that run off the NXT blockchain, not to mention a whole lot of third party products which now actually depend on NXT.

As far as distribution is concerned - there's f*ck all wrong with it. Stop bleating.

It isn't the job of markets to distribute an asset equally, it's their job to distribute to those who value it the most. Nobody had a god given right to participate in the IPO so stop throwing your toys out of the pram as if you did. You can pick up huge amounts of NXT for pennies right now so stfu and change the record.

To many shills!

No matter if you are hyper-maniac or just maniac.
126  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: XMR change your fee from .1 to something realistic on: October 17, 2014, 01:29:54 PM
Omg, Spoetnik lost his trust. World is collapsing!
127  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why are new altcoins still being launched? on: October 17, 2014, 01:27:16 PM
Until we don't see something really new... it's a waste of time and cash. The good old days are long gone.

It is all about cash. And not the waste part of it.
128  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Cryptsy down? on: October 17, 2014, 01:26:11 PM
There is reason people call it Craptsy.
129  Economy / Speculation / Re: TO THE MOON FROM HERE on: October 17, 2014, 01:24:00 PM
Even if you bought in at $1200 it hardly even matters as long as you HODL... or trade your coins to increase the stash.

You just have to hold for a long time.  Grin

Might even take a lifetime.

That's if you believe BTC will never break 1200 again.

Which if you know anything about bitcoin, is quite foolish.

I know enough not to fool myself.
130  Economy / Speculation / Re: Crossed 500 USD - Bull Market returns ? on: October 17, 2014, 01:23:03 PM
apparently we can't get any higher than 420  Grin

420 is a important barrier. There will be 21 million BTC one day.
131  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will I ever be rich? on: October 17, 2014, 01:21:13 PM
21 BTC

200 LTC

You already are rich. There are tiny amount of people owning 1 BTC. and almost none own more then 20.

Better question would be: I own 0.21 BTC, will i ever be rich?

The purchasing power of 21 BTC does not make me rich, in anyone's standards

Not in anyones, but in manyones. You can never satisfy everyone all the time. But here you do many.
132  Other / Off-topic / Re: need to stop gambling on: October 17, 2014, 01:17:17 PM
if anyone wants to gamble can send their BTC to me and maybe i will return 100 times more back. Maybe.

hahha you said maybe not Cheesy

Of course maybe not. What kind of gamble that is if you always win? So boring.

if anyone wants to gamble can send their BTC to me and maybe i will return 100 times more back. Maybe.

The odd of winning this is much lower then gambling, I prefer gambling Smiley

You have no ideas of your chances at most of gambling. you do know them at roulette and again electronic ones can cheat.
133  Other / Off-topic / Re: With Ebola striking in Texas on: October 17, 2014, 01:16:14 PM
I might buy all the clothes those medical staff wears and will offer medical care to patients with Ebola for 1 BTC per day. I am sure will be blooming business and will help Bitcoin economy.
134  Other / Off-topic / Re: I feel i need to get rid of my money on: October 17, 2014, 01:11:51 PM

That is not worth of getting rid off, better just keep them in your wallet.
135  Economy / Economics / Re: How Bitcoin can solve financial problems in Africa on: October 17, 2014, 01:06:41 PM
Africa is struggling with ebola and the problem is only going to get higher now... they can't focus on complex shit now, what they need is external help to stablish normality, then you can talk about stablishing a new economic system. Bitcoin could help in forms of donations for them, but it seems only DOGE and PND focus on charities.

agree. Africa needs medical stuff now not Bitcoin. 20% dead is among medical stuff and as it all progress, doubles every 2 weeks, it will run out of ot fast.
136  Economy / Economics / Re: Attitude toward daily Bitcoin price on: October 17, 2014, 01:02:36 PM
I don't get the following:

People are like: 'I wish I bought Bitcoin when price was lower,' and: 'If it crashes to $100 I will go all-in.'
Then price goes down, those same people cry...

How's your attitude toward the daily bitcoin price?

I have no emotional feelings associated with the price. Also, I buy more bitcoin every other month.
I'm invested because I appreciate bitcoin and I see my investment become valuable at some point in time. Smiley
When the price is down I see it as an opportunity to invest at a more favorable price.

you will be rich one day.
137  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Post Bitcoin mining. on: October 17, 2014, 11:51:29 AM
Hi All, I have been thinking, what happens after the whole 21million bitcoins have been mined? How will it affect demand, supply and price?

Demand will get shocked,
supply will be prepared as always,
price will act like is none of her business.
Kinda thought the price will skyrocket!

If you ask me, there will be no Bitcoin in 2140. For sure will not be most of us to see that.

Rise and Rise of Bitcoin is out. Price is going to skyrocket...

The price doesn't seem to be reacting to good news these days. Doubt if a documentary will help.
Of course a documentary is not going to make the price skyrocket. The only thing that can affect the price is the amount of buyers. Even if it's easier for people to adopt the idea, I for one ( if I didn't have any previous knowledge about bitcoins ) wouldn't have invested a penny into it just because of that doc.

I think documentary will have good impact, compared to many much better news that recently happen.
