121  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is this a new form of manipulation? on: August 09, 2018, 08:56:18 AM
I see no other reason but the market manipulation only. I suspect that this is being done so that big players now can make their entry into it. Otherwise why there was any need of this if the market already dipped down below for over 6 months and then it also starts moving back to higher prices. Now there is huge dump we are in currently and this is surely only one thing, manipulation so that those who left behind will be jumping in. Who knows there are many more groups of whales who wants the way in and they are manipulating it at different time to stay safe.  Huh
122  Economy / Economics / Re: Can my economy be fulfilled in the future with Bitcoin? on: August 08, 2018, 08:43:20 PM
You are perfectly right with your decision. This is what most of the people forget and do mistakes while investing in bitcoin. But as you have taken the right thought then I am sure you will have the right step forward too. Because just look around you, bitcoin has taken the giant leaps meany times in its journey so these ups and downs are cycle changes according to different facts so I am pretty sure this year is no different. You can always choose to invest in such time.
123  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: will bitcoin become obsolete? on: August 08, 2018, 06:08:32 PM
Analysis : Blockchain, the technology behind Bitcoin, is predicted to be the leading technology in the future, but this technology will become obsolete.

Is it possible that bitcoin will be obsolete in the future?

With the superficial outlook of the whole scenario I am sure if blockchain goes dark then surely bitcoin does the same. They are dependent on each other or more precisely bitcoin depends on the blockchain technology and thus whatever happens to the blockchain technology does happen to the bitcoin as well. If there is core application of the bitcoin in the future then I am sure that it will have to be there and so as to blockchain technology too on which it is getting evolved today. So more or less they both go obsolete if one goes down mate. Thats the cyclic change here.
124  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Where Do You Invest in BTC? on: August 05, 2018, 07:48:20 AM
There are lots of services that can be used to buy and sell BTC. The preferred service just depends on where you're from. Though I'd personally suggest that you use LocalBitcoins[1] instead.

[1] https://localbitcoins.com/

I would recommend Bitconnect. I personally think this place is the best for starting investment with bitcoins. Here your money will increase due to use of power of compounding on interest that user makes on daily basis.
what

May be he is asking about the investment opportunity for earning profits.

And yes to the second post - What!  Tongue

For investment opportunity , there are more than enough ways on the forum itself. Get yourself engaged with the lending, trading, gambling. All are risky so research before you get into them. But high profits are there if you play safe.

Rest there are ICO investment, they are indirect investment opportunity for getting your bitcoin profits. Learn and learn more to explore !
125  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin volume is still rising ? on: August 02, 2018, 05:02:21 PM
Do you think Bitcoin still on the rise in terms of market capitalization ?

Yes, it is. However its going up and down recently and I have started to think that it may start to run upwards very fast as we are approaching towards the end of the year. Well its Q4 that has started now and most of the big and small investors will make their move into the bitcoin. The effect of which can be seen current and I guess this will increase many more folds as we approach the month of November. This is all about the time when bitcoin market capitalisation will be spiked to new values soon.
126  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ETH vs BTC transaction speed. Who is better and faster? on: August 02, 2018, 12:20:13 PM
I am always amaze every time I imagine how much power does Ethereum blockchain has when processing transaction for every tokens it supported. There are millions of transactions are being process every single day. Just do the math. Decentralized exchanges using ETH blockchain plus online wallets like MEW, Jaxx, coinomi, Eidoo, etc. I always have this feeling that ETH will become number 1 someday. Who is better for you? ETH or BTC?

The transaction are calculated on the basis of TX/seconds.
As far as in know ETH blockchain is capable of doing ~ 15 TX/second while on the other hand BTC is capable of handling only 7-10 TX per seconds. With that said ETH blockchain is faster than the BTC chain. Also, this transaction can also drop if the crypto blockchain is overloaded by some means. For example during the time of Airdrops, ICO sales etc. FYI : VISA processes highest number of TX per seconds and has capacity of 25,000 to 45K TX/seconds.
127  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Coin rates not everything on: August 02, 2018, 11:04:44 AM
Looking at the fact that this market is solely dependent on fundamental updates, fluctuating all the time with such news it becomes obvious thing to keep track of the news. I have always invested my money by studying the market news about specific coins or projects. I will read news papers, see channels and read the articles and more from the valid sources and then only confirm my jump into the crypto coins.

Exchanger Hacks, is getting very usual thing now, and we should always keep our coins away from them and safe in the wallets. Now that becomes the safety part but investment depends on fundamental news.
128  Economy / Economics / Re: hackers becoming smarter than exchanges? on: August 02, 2018, 07:04:29 AM
They are not getting smarter than the exchangers, because they are already smartest to be able to hack the great security backed exchanges. Dont you think that it is for real that how they go through the links, and hack most secured crypto exchanges ever built. Sometimes I feel that its we human who create an error based scripts and codes which always have loop holes in them and thus hackers can easily get into it and steal whatever they want. Basically this might be done through the accounts that people create over it and with smallest error they catch the fish. It could be lot of bugs and errors thats causing this.
129  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Gallup Poll Shows Only 2% of US Investors Own Bitcoin, But 26% Are ‘Intrigued' on: August 02, 2018, 06:16:37 AM
But the real question is why so much less % of investors are into the bitcoin? We know that its almost a decade journey for the bitcoin and it should have been very very popular in the country like U.S.

I think people are scared of using the bitcoin in this country due to the fact that there is ban over ICO's, use of altcoins etc. However they do recognise bitcoin as taxed asset so it should not be problem for them.

So thinkable question is why tiny % of public and why not bigger audience is into the bitcoin.

If we know the reason then we can say surely there is going to be big money flooding into the crypto soon.
130  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: what are your plan for altcoin on: July 31, 2018, 03:21:45 PM
For now I have halted all the altcoins investment because they are bleeding like crazy. There is something odd with the bitcoin and altcoin relationship and I am not investing until the time everything gets settled up with them. I am thinking about bitcoin all the time now because it is on the verge of pumping itself to ATH prices the same way it did last year. I dont believe in what people think about it but I have my opinion and yes I am also thinking about altcoin but only after a month or so and as I said until they get settled with green dots.  Cheesy
131  Economy / Economics / Re: G20 releases official statement on cryptocurrency on: July 31, 2018, 11:49:46 AM
What to say about the meeting which did not even move the crypto assets by a dollar when it came out with the results a few months ago. It was all positive about it but to be honest crypto world did not move because of it. This year there were more bad occurrences of crypto hacks, dumps and stuff like that and thus rest of the news like the G20 summit agreement did not do much. I guess this happened at wrong time at right place. Now that the news has come out in proper timing then we can just expect for some more agreements and crypto investment but for that also we cant guarantee anything.
132  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: When is the moment it smells like a scam on: July 31, 2018, 10:59:52 AM
I have been studying the scam ICO's so I will speak about them as it is also part of scammer stuff.  I have observed that whenever a private sale is over for an ICO then admins of ICO start responding very less to their customers. They don't answer in the telegram group and slowly they go off the record. So if the communication is shutting down slowly then you should already smell the scam and get out of it.

Many times when you join the telegram groups then people from the same group will act as admin and will massage you personally to ask you for and help need and also ask for the ETH later on for ICO purpose. Thats the very much common scam here. So be careful with such scenarios.
133  Economy / Economics / Re: Different between Cryptocurrency and Banking sectors on: July 30, 2018, 01:42:18 PM
Saving money in a savings account is like putting money in a pocket with holes. Banks only give you interests that are lower than the inflation rate. It‘s how they make money. You are better off investing in ventures (Crypto currency) that give a return higher than the inflation rate.

Well, the idea behind the crypto investment is to skip the banking sectors and earn moe interest. People are lending bitcoin and earning like 1-2% of interest each day and thats like monthly interest of the banks. So you can imagine how big stuff this is and how much we can earn from it. So it doesn't matter whether it is crypto venture or something like that because there are multiple ways from where we can earn big time. There is also chance that we may end up having the passive income stream, and thus earn big money from it. I guess banking surely sucks in this regards.
134  Economy / Economics / Re: If Bitcoins aren't tied to a conventional currency how did they get so valuable? on: July 30, 2018, 12:14:31 PM
If Bitcoins aren't tied to a conventional currency, how did they get so valuable?

Indeed they are not tied to it but there market cap creates a valued base for the prices of all crypto currencies and mainly bitcoin. When money is flooded into the market then it creates huge demand against the purchases of different coin. Know that the coins are all limited in number thus this demand creates less supply situation all the time. With the difficulty of mining not much coins are generated every time and thus as whole there is large demand and less supply situation and thus giving the price to the coins. Thats how I understand the whole thing here.
135  Economy / Speculation / Re: Do you still believe in btc price predictions? on: July 26, 2018, 09:30:54 PM
Many predict their own bitcoin price. Others say the price of btc at the end of 2018 is $ 50,000. And others say that it will cost $ 100,000- $ 1,000,000 over the next few years.

But at this moment your prediction price of btc is still the same  or your predictions have changed?

Thats really funny stuff mate! The prices aitn going that high and it is really vain to predict the prices like that. Consider the amount of market cap that will take up to support different buy walls during the course of this journey! It can be very very hard to reach that market cap because it will be 5x more than the current one. Just imagine whenever the prices move a little bit then people start dumping the bitcoin and im not sure what they are thinking at that time but they are surely breaking the chain of incriminating market and thus it pulls back. Its hard to predict.
136  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What technical analysis indicators works for crypto day-trading? on: July 26, 2018, 06:21:12 PM
So you are a TA lover. To be frank I never liked the idea of technical analysis in the Cypriot currency because it does not apply here. I mean crypto currency is way too hard to predict based on the technical analysis data because it is not the same whenever it is predicted and when the actual time point comes up front. Also when it comes to the day trade then just forget about that any correct theory might be put forth it to predict the price movements in right way. For me fundamentals are very important. They do affect the crypto movement and they can be pre-judged very easily. So its upto you what to choose.
137  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 0xBTC will beat BTC on: July 26, 2018, 01:59:18 PM
Dont believe this at all. We have seen such claims many times and we saw many forked coins coming out of the blockchain but none of them really worked mate. Bitcoin is still at the top and its market cap is now greater than any other coins in the market. About the ETH, its shit unless and until its scaling issue is not resolved. Yes, you may oppose this one but ETH network is getting too much stress whenever there is new ICO launch, airdrops and even small events and thus it creates bad impression over the investors. How do you think that will benefit the market cap of ETH anyway. I think BTC is BTC and it will be at the top always.
138  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Bitcoin vs the top 100coins/tokens. Why do they behave the same? on: July 26, 2018, 12:31:06 PM
Wondering why the top 100 coins/tokens, or even the top 200 behave exactly like bitcoin?
Is this just traders being blind and disregarding the other coins out of pure laziness?

I would like to here your opinions so i can learn about it.

Peace

Thats the total market effect, when it gets hampered then all the coins in the market get hampered as well. Now the coins beyond Top 100 doesnt get affected because they dont have that much market volume, or daily volume and the net effect remains uncertain to them. When it comes to the Top 10 then everything is reversed.
However this is not the effect of bitcoin which is always thought by many traders in the crypto space. Well, this can be understood with the current situation where bitcoin alone is standing up in the bull run while altcoins are not and thus its not about the bitcoin but about the whole market effect.
139  Economy / Economics / Re: Greediness leads to market manipulation. on: July 26, 2018, 11:16:50 AM
it is not just greed that leads to market manipulation it is at least 10 other factors that lead to it and then greed enters and makes it easier. otherwise the manipulators are using their large funds and the small size of the market to pump and dump altcoins for instance. then they are using the fact that the market is filled with newbies who are lazy but want money so the pump and dump groups shape up which end up with scamming these newbies.

Lot of truth in this post. Actually its true that there are many people who go crazy about creating these pump and dump groups. No one knows who and how they have created this groups and they just keep posting XYZ coin will be pumped to the moon and unfortunately people does follow them and when the prices are too high then these groups creators will sell it immediately and people keep watching their loss up front. Lolz.
Sometimes I believe that whales are playing these kind of stuff over big coins too like ETH and BTC. May be all the ups and downs are being created by them only.
140  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How safe is our money in crypto? on: July 25, 2018, 05:41:36 PM
Money is not at all safe in cryptocurrency, There are so many hackers around here who's only business is hack a wallet of bounty hunters to get money without doing anything.

Indeed. Money can never be safe here for that reason as well as additional reasons are also there. Money when invested in the crypto currencies become an asset which is very much volatile in the crypto space. Thus we dont know how much we will get back from our investment. Sometime our all investment may turn down upon us and go to negative or sometime it can go hike and profit us. Now thats the part of profit and loss here. When it comes to hackers and stealing cases then also this industry is not very much good in handling such bad requests. I guess money isn't 100% safe here.
