Can we now make it a priority to get a wallet done inside our CryptoPay accounts? Or maybe even a desktop wallet?
I knew this was going to happen with MEW eventually. Leaving our CPAY on there is the WORST idea possible.
Hello, We are planning to add ICO account to Cryptopay accounts’ list so that it would be possible to store all the funds, including CPAY tokens, in one place. However, the process itself is rather complicated from the technical point of view so there is no exact timeline at the moment. In the meantime, using MEW is safe but you have to be careful not to have your private keys exposed. There is a big lack of communication since january  Our platform is 80% ready to incorporate a new card program, so there are still some technical changes and practicalities left before we launch it. Hello, Almost all documentary and legal details are finalised, we have passed several tests and checks from our soon-to-be card issuers and now are moving on to the final stage of our negotiations. We have signed a letter of intent and contracts with few card issuers (in order to avoid problems similar to the one we had with WaveCrest) and we are going to have two card issuers in Europe and one in Asia. At the moment along with finishing agreements with them and being approved by VISA. We don't want to give any false promises regarding timeframes, but we can assure you that the wait is almost over. This does takes a substantial amount of time, but, in the context of recent officials' statements and updated regulations we want to be as much compliant as we can, to set a longstanding relationship. |

Recent history and experience have shown what these issues do to the card programme. Scammers often use anonymous cards to perpetrate their scams. An example is by using Visa's Personal Payments and MasterCard's Send systems to receive fraudulent payments. Another is by confirming scam accounts with such cards. A strong and robust card programme is what the community needs. Cards we can confidently use and spend with. Yes, this is one of the reasons for our decision not to support anonymous cards on the new card programme. We would like to clarify that we do not in any way assume that if one wants to use the card without verification it makes them a scammer, but as cases mentioned above are quite common it was decided not to issue cards for unverified users. Hello, Wirex, as far as I know, has only opened the beta-testing for the first 100 virtual cards. We are on final stages of implementing the card program. Q2 2018 is the expected timeframe for new cards to be there for everyone. We've even received the first test batch (check our twitter for a sneak-peak preview!). They inform that everyone can right now order virtual debit card but only in GBP: "Your new current account and virtual card will be instantly created. " There is information that "Your shiny plastic cards are currently being manufactured..." but right after we read "these should be with us all in the coming weeks." So in practice (if your target is Q2) your plastic cards can be issued even earlier Sorry for confusion in previous post. No worries We're working very hard and we will start issuing cards again as soon as it's possible! So is there any information about verifications?
Will it be possible to get a card without getting verified? I dont care about the limits, they could even be $10 but I just need to create a card.
