Have any of you done some particular variations to your Masternode setups to make it more efficient or secure. I added 2FA and it has really let my mind at ease.

Glad I caught some Swift when it was at 9k. Development still happening and it seems really stable on the charts with the slow but sure uptrend.
I recently joined the slack channel for bitswift and was really surprised at how accessible the dev was, we chatted for some time and it has made all the difference; I highly recommend signing up.

Just saw a really interesting statistic, a lot of the masternodes are now with VULTR. Before TAO wrote his guide Digital Ocean were the 2nd largest provider next to Amazon.
I'm wondering if TAO's guide has anything to do with it?
If it does have something to do with it, there's hard evidence that we need to be a lot more helpful to new business coming into crypto in general.
TAO, Tante2 and whomever else is taking the time to write helpful articles for the general public to become more familiar with Darkcoin, you are just as important as the developers, keep up the outstanding work...

Just dropping by to comment on my MN status, its' been non stop running for 2 weeks now without any single issues and receiving the regular payments. Can't wait for Instant Transactions to be released!

I just wanted to say that during the past 3 weeks I've been blown away with the rate of update from Evan. It took some versions but the one that I'm running as of last week on my MN is stable as fuck. My hat's off. Feels nice getting those steady DRK payments.

yeah, that good soul has been doing that since yesterday... replenishing the 10K every so often (was first 11K @ 0.0066) Any idea how much they already bought? Looking at bitcoinwisdom trade history, rough guess is maybe 5k since midnight GMT. Not sure about yesterday's action though. 7,291.75 DRK including yesterday ;-) 7,399.69 DRK and climbing - Edit up or down from here ? Only up. Its simple math. Somebody nails it to 0.69, buying it all. If he is willing and has enough dough to hold against the rest of the market, he could only win, he fixes the price. The biggest maker so far, these days, and with the pants down, lovely. and what if that was all a bot selling to himself? Recurrent revenue from Darkcoin masternodes is very appealing so it is likely the coins that are being bought will leave the market. In my opinion passive income beats the hassle of trading specially if the returns are good and you are already wealthy and dont really need the trouble. Also, Darkcoin is fully open source and has strong fundamentals, Darksend is being improved and InstantX will start testing soon and we are progressing on adoption and a network effect is slowly being built. Darkcoin has demonstrated to be consolidated and to have a strong floor above 2 USD with a market cap composed mostly of long investment money so I cant imagine a better point of entry for a wealthy investor. I am thinking hard of reasons not to buy right now and cant come up with anything. I think people outside from the DRK threads are severly underestimating the effect of the growing amount of MN operators. More and More DRK are leaving the market via the MN and those that setup their MN are prepared to HODL. I mean, just try and buy 1000 drk right now in less than a few days without trying to attack the asks, it's fucking difficult, bids don't get fed (and that's just for 1 mn, imagine setting up more than 1). |

Just wanted to say I haven't experienced any issues with the 16.6 version on my MN but that may be because I didn't turn off the wallet this time. Maybe 16.6 likes to check out the wallet every now and then?

So my MN spiked its usage by a couple gb last night and crashed while I was sleeping, read here and on the darkforum that the issue is being worked on so for now I wait patiently.

I'm realizing that it seems we have at the moment, enough masternode setup guides to get everyone involved who wishes to be. Maybe next on the list as far as guides go should be on how to get involved on testnet. I can't pump it out tonight, but if no one beats me to it who is better suited I may give it a shot. There are a lot of new faces around and making it easy for them to help in the dev bug shoot would be a sexy little notch in someones belt.
