121  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I'm planning to invest in Tron Coin on: November 06, 2019, 05:58:55 AM
Recently there are so many projects are launching under Tron platform and more will be in future like telegram projects are planned .

And I'm watching Tron price from last few days its getting better day by day so this is the best time to invest in Tron Coins?

Tron has great potential after using native blockchain. Some new projects have used tron as their blockchain and this indicates Tron can become an existing coin competitor. With the prices currently on the market, I think Tron has the potential to be a profitable investment
122  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Exchanges Tokens on: November 06, 2019, 05:55:49 AM
I have seen many exchanges have launched their own token like Binance with BNB, Idex with IDEX, Hotbit with HTB, Yobit with YO etc. where exchanges use their own tokens as another way to pay fees to support token. In addition to it, different strategies are used to create a hype like decrease in supply etc.
But if an exchange goes through a hard period of time and shuts downs then ultimately that token will come to its end because there is no community other than that exchange supporting the token simply because it has no usage outside the exchange.
According to me exchanges should promote the usage of their coins/tokens outside the exchange to build a community in support of it. If your community consists of huge individual entities who believe you then a great community can be formed. Otherwise lack of applications would lead these things to disaster.

Investing in a token utility owned by a large exchanger in my opinion is quite safe as long as the token exchanger has large daily transactions. Until now, BNB Coin is a native token that benefits its investors because besides being used for IEO, BNB Coin already has DEX which will make the use of BNB Coin increased
123  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: if anyone hacked your account then who is responsible??? on: November 06, 2019, 05:52:47 AM
If you ever protected your account the best you can then maybe its somebody fault. As a user we take full responsibility of our every actions but sometimes no matter how we try safe our accounts there are instances that we might be outsmarted by bad actors.
Having a lot of passwords would make the account safer to have. Don't just leave a wallet or account unencrypted.

I always use a difficult password so that other people have difficulty guessing it, and other additional security, if this has been used all and the account is still hacked then there is a weakness in the exchange.

Agree, but if only our account is hacked, maybe it's our fault. But if a lot of accounts are hacked, I think the exchanger needs to take responsibility by bearing the losses suffered by his customers
124  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can i trust new IEO on the new exchange? on: November 06, 2019, 05:48:02 AM
can anyone invest in new IEO listing in new exchange or it will be risk, i think if the price is low, it have the chance to increase, o what is the experts opinion?
No do not trust IEO from new exchanges, they might have built that new exchange to scam people all in the name of IEO investment, now scammers are more desperate that they even have large team of scammers and bounty managers

Yes, you are right, we should stay away from the new exchanges because we don't know how far they will protect their customer's investments. It is not a good idea to participate IEO's in those exchanges because most of the exchanges we seen till now stolen the money and left the people investments.

Investing in new projects is already a risk in itself, especially coupled with investing in IEO organized by new exchangers, only making the risk we bear even greater. I would prefer to invest in IEO organized by large exchangers because large exchangers will always maintain the reputation they have
125  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: there are still many who invest in cryptocurrency? on: November 05, 2019, 09:52:07 AM
as we know that in 2017 many ICO were successful (at least reached softcap) and of course the market cap was also very high at the time, so it proves that many people are interested to investing in cryptocurrency, but now where do these investors go? because now the market cap is down and many ICO or IEO are failing (not reaching softcap), are investors no longer interested to investing in cryptocurrency? if yes, where are they investing now? or is there a more profitable investment than investing in cryptocurrency for now?

I think there are still many investors who are interested in investing in the cryptocurrency market but due to unfavorable market conditions, they are better to wait and see. I think when the market starts to look better, big investors will start channeling funds into the crypto market again and maybe this will happen in the coming months
126  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: "Centrality" for decentralization? on: November 05, 2019, 09:48:25 AM

Heard of the project "Centrality" from NZ? They have a decent team and website (https://centrality.ai/).

But isn't it weird to call yourself centrality if blockchain is all about achieving decentralization?

Bad marketing Smiley and on that note: can someone explain to me why this project is supposed to be useful, given that we already have Ethereum and other Dapp blockchains?

There are many projects that are actually centralized and usually projects like this are those that issue utility tokens. Utility tokens can be called as centralized because the amount of supply held by the developer team is very large compared to the supply circulation in the market so that there is a vulnerable price game
127  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 5 Ways to earn crypto without investing or mining on: November 05, 2019, 09:45:23 AM
It's a good idea because you don't need to invest in mining and trading. But we don't know if everyone here can produce good quality content,

Maybe let's try it first and pay attention, I'm sure we all have the ability to do it. Just give it a value and you take it seriously I'm sure you can overcome it and we will be successful here.

In addition to creating content, we can get free tokens from the referral program. Referral program is one of the popular ways to get tokens because it can help new projects get funds from the sale of tokens
128  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Staking-as-a-service, Opinions? on: November 05, 2019, 09:41:59 AM
Hey guys I am not very familiar with the topic of staking and staking-as-a-service. But I just saw yesterday evening that SMART VALOR a Swiss crypto exchange started their staking campaign where you can either stake Dash or their native token VALOR.

They state that revenues are up to 6.9% for Dash and 15% for VALOR. Here is the link for their announcement:
https://news.smartvalor.com/staking-dash-available-on-smart-valor-platform/

What do you guys think about it? I think it could be good alternative for earning some passive income (if I understand the concept correctly) like interest back in the days bank used to pay some Grin

I think it's good as long as we trust the exchanger who runs the staking program. If we plan to hold it in the long run, this staking program will benefit because our goals are achieved and also get passive income
129  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: list top 10 exchange in the market on: November 04, 2019, 08:22:54 AM
What is the top 10 exchanges which all the investors trust it?

The top exchanger that I currently use and I believe is Binance. In addition to binance, Kucoin and Okex are exchangers who have large transaction volumes and this indicates that the exchanger is widely trusted by investors
130  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: StableCoins might increase crypto adoption by big companies ? on: November 04, 2019, 08:19:11 AM
You all might be knowing that Steam used to accept payments in bitcoin through BitPay, but they abruptly stopped it stating the price volatility of bitcoin to be the issue.
Stablecoins eliminates this very issue, could this encourage Steam or other companies like Amazon, etc. to start incorporating cryptocurrencies into their payment systems.
Is it possible some stablecoin might outperform bitcoin regarding this?

If the problem is use as a direct payment tool, I think we can use a credit card instead of a stable coin. Bitcoin and other cryptos should be used as digital assets and might be used as a means of payment. In my opinion, stable coins should only be used in exchangers and when exchangers have received deposits and withdrawals with fiat, then actually stable coins can not be used
131  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Exchanges that conduct IEOS You should stay away from ? on: November 04, 2019, 08:07:17 AM
For me personally, I stay away from all kinds of IEO in all exchanges even though it's the number 1 market though. Because if I look, the coins or tokens are not worth buying when IEO because it's just a HYPE not because the coins are good ideas or innovative. It is better for me to buy it when it enters the market and looks at its original price. We must protect our assets properly and correctly in order to avoid fatal losses.

There are many investors who choose this way, buy coins that have been traded on exchangers rather than buying when the IEO period runs. One reason is that sometimes after the IEO period ends and tokens start listing on the exchanger, the price drops below the IEO price and this usually happens on the small exchanger
132  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: WHEN ALTSEASON? are we waiting for nothing? on: November 04, 2019, 08:03:51 AM
Think it's 50/50. What about you?

In my opinion, an altseason will occur. What's hard to predict is the time because no one knows when the altseason starts. In my opinion, bitcoin will not dominate the cryptocurrency market by more than 60% because it will kill new projects or projects that are already running
133  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: less interest of investors to buy ICO on: October 30, 2019, 01:05:38 AM
now i see how many days ico appears and the result is a kind of war between ico to attract investors.
whereas I see that pre-sales to the public, ico are hardly in accordance with their targets, even to touch soft caps, it's very difficult.

Do you think that mastah caused ico not to be expected?

ICO's reputation have plunged down because of scams and many failed projects. The market lost its hype because it's repeating all over again where the projects are getting public interest but lacks proper implementation of their goals and promise to the investors. The scams also did a number in the industry, causing negative trust to many good and legit projects as a whole.

Agree, ICO's reputation has become bad in the eyes of investors due to many scams that occur. IEO is an alternative for investors who want to invest in new projects and I think it is difficult to restore investor confidence in ICO if there are still ICO scams
134  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will You Support Or Have You Supported A Coin That Makes A Comeback on: October 30, 2019, 01:02:17 AM
We have thousands of coins in the market right now, and thousands of them are dead coins do you have a coin that you've supported than turn dead and making a comeback, and will you support a coin that you've invested and become a dead coin and making a comeback.
mine was Xtrabyte it becomes a deadcoin, but adopted by a new developer and it becomes profitable.

If you already have a dead coin, I think we will support the new developer team so that the coin or project will come back to life and be actively traded in the market. I think there are some coins like this and it is difficult to recover because investor confidence is no longer obtained
135  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: China can easily launch a coin while Facebook is having a hard time on: October 30, 2019, 12:58:00 AM
All the talks this week are all about China launching its own coin, they can easily do that because China's main man Xi Jinping is the one who wants China to create one, while Facebook's Libra coin is having a hard time to convince the Congress to let them launch Libra Coin,

It's different between the two coins, one will launch easily while the other is having a hard time with the regulator
On a positive note, I think China's plan will be considered of those who are opposing Facebook plans to launch their coin but of course, it
will be highly regulated compared to China's coin who will be under the supervision of China's Central bank.

What's your thought on this?

Difficulties faced by Facebook in launching Libra are different from the regulations and political systems implemented by the Chinese Government. The Chinese political system adheres to and is subject to the President because the communist system is used while the US Government considers more regulations that have been made.
136  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: China's President Xi Jinping said, Blockchain is vital for China’s future. on: October 30, 2019, 12:54:12 AM
President Xi Jinping in his Thursday speech said, Blockchain is vital for China’s future. Following this statement, the Chinese tech share prices surged.

Read here: https://coinpedia.org/news/xis-accelerated-blockchain-adoption-pumps-chinese-shares/

The movement of the Chinese Government in the economic field is always overseen by investors and this is because China has become one of the countries with the largest economy in the world. By adopting blockchain technology, I think China will be one step ahead of other economies and maybe in the adoption of cryptocurrency
137  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do people still create new ERC20 tokens/projects nowadays? on: October 29, 2019, 09:54:39 AM
I was wondering if ERC20 tokens are still useful today and if people still create projects around them? I know the ICO 'feast' is kind of over and that was the main purpose people were launching these tokens for.

Greetings to the community,

Liviu

In my opinion, the real issue is not the tokens that are still ERC20 or other but on regulations that are able to prevent scam projects from entering the market. ERC20 tokens in my opinion is not a problem as long as the project is good and produces products.
138  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: (Yes or NO) The 2020s belong to DEXs on: October 29, 2019, 09:51:31 AM
I think 2020 will still belong to a centralized exchanger. Decentralization of exchangers may be good but if we look at transaction volumes that are still inferior to centralized exchangers, then I think transactions on the crypto market will still be dominated by centralized exchangers. With great liquidity, investors will be more interested in making transactions in centralized exchangers
139  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: TAKE A BREAK! on: October 29, 2019, 09:48:18 AM
I don’t think it’s worth taking a vacation and throwing an investment if you are an investor or quit participating in a bounty companies if you are a bounty hunter, because you will lose a lot of time and maybe you will lose a good profit, because you just need to approach everything wisely and spend as much time as you will not mind in the cryptocurrency and exactly those funds that you are not afraid to lose.

Based on what I understand from OP's statement is that sometimes people should take a break if things do not go well on their side, it doesn't mean that you will go on vacation and forget about crypto instead you are taking a break so you can have time to think about the things you did wrong and come back fresh with the right state of mind.

Indeed, we should take a break if we feel that crypto is too difficult for us. Studying or re-analyzing is a logical choice so that we can study the mistakes we make and correct them. With experience and also re-learning, I think we will get up and make a profit
140  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How Best to Safely Store Your Coins and ALTs! Bitcoin is treasure; Alts are too. on: October 29, 2019, 09:45:02 AM
Storing your Bitcoin on a hardware wallet is the recommended and safest option. You could go for either Ledger or Trezor. Remember to buy it from an official seller only and never use a resold hardware wallet. Backup the seed words and keep them with you. but if you want to use your Bitcoin for paying for coffee or other daily activities then you should use a paper wallet as it gives you the option of liquidity. these wallets are also called online wallets and are less secure when compared to a hardware wallet. but nothing gets the point across better that coins aren't "stored" on your computer or on digital device, and you can still check up on them with a block explorer. helps people better understand the important bits.

Agree, it's best to keep the coins we have on the hardwallet. But if you don't have it, you can use a trusted mobile wallet such as a Trust wallet or others as long as the wallet has a good reputation and we store Seed words safely
