I'm contacting some block explorer provider, and I'll post pre-mine address as soon as new block explorer is online.

I think I've made a mistake by having POW/POS instead of pure POS for this coin.

There are unbelievable numbers of miners willing to dump everything they've mine for some reason.

I am working very hard to make VTR a successful one, new client with trading is being tested and will be release in two days if not tomorrow.

The dump was not by me, I did not sell a single coin from premine, instead I was putting my BTC to support the price across all of the exchange. I am currently holding close to 900k not including some in exchanges.

Can you please point out some of the key different of your project from vTorrent? I don't mind having competitors and I am looking forward to see how your project will turns out after ICO.

I still don't understand your reason for wanting to raised 55 BTC even before having 'torrent metadata in the blockchain' already implemented, especially since as you replied that it would be only 2 weeks away from now.

And my main reason for posting in your thread is just to clarify that vTorrent is not in anyway related to Magnetz as there are users questioning me about relation of two projects. vTorrent is and will always be pure mining based crypto-currency and there will be no ICO/IPO with vTorrent.

Yes, I plan to have vTorrent to be the main crypto-currency for people who use torrent protocol.

I've been preparing some backend support for the new client, there are currently 3 supernode with fail-over setup on 3 rented VPS, I'll try to rent and setup a few more VPS so that our the client will have at least 8 solid connections at all times. This should solves any problem with the client that won't sync or those without problem should see faster sync speed to the network. These nodes are already available on the first post of the thread to use, and next version of client will have these nodes hardcoded and need no further setup from user.

vTorrent is not in anyway related to Magnetz and I would hope people will keep out from another possible ICO/IPO SCAM.

Just some updates,

C-CEX vTorrent deposit/withdraw is working fine now.

Currently, I'm still working with some users in getting vTorrent client running on their linux operating system and still finding solution for those who can't unlock their client for some unknown reason.

You are right about me divided all of my premines to multiple different addresses, the reason for this is purely for better security of the premines and it is also true that I am staking with those address.

Are you proposing that I shouldn't be staking with those coins?

Since I don't have any kind of miner myself, the only way for me to get more of VTR is through staking and buying which is exactly what I am doing. I hope to accumulated as much as possible when the price is still cheap.

I am trying to make this project as fair as possible, I am not asking for donation nor any kind of presale to get the project started.

I openly declared from the beginning that there is 3% premine and it is being used for the development cost.

Since you seems to have problem with my premines, I will be more than happy to burn all of it if you or anyone willing to funds or pay me to develop the project further.

I'm working on getting another block explorer at the moment, the current one might have problem with SSL certificates, for now please try to access block explorer from your phone or tablet (I just tested on iphone and it is working fine).

As of this posting time total coins in existence is 1,994,400.01 VTR at block height 10331

I will push out the new client with promised in-client trading and some small features before moving on to details in implementing torrent protocol to the client and network, the plan is to have client across all of the operating system running solid and bug-free with all the basic features before any addition of the torrent related stuff.

So far after some testing and debugging I still cannot find the reason for some of the user reported 'bug' related to unlocking the client, I will be focusing on testing the client on operating system with languages other than english since all of the 'bug' reported came from users with foreign language operating system.

None of the user reported any problem with the transaction, network or staking till now.

Please leave feedback or PM me if you have any problem with the client/network.

Please be-aware of a user named 'vtorrent' in c-cex claims to be vTorrent developer, do not send him any BTC or VTR, he has no real connection to the project.

All client should be download ONLY from the first post of this thread and please make sure to check your download with MD5 hash to verify the integrity of the downloaded file.

Please get the 'shorten' address from Coin Control dialog (Preference > Display > Display coin control features).
Check in the send tab you'll see that there is 'Inputs..." button, inside you should see the list of all true addresses for your wallet which you can use with dumpprivkey and importprivkey.

I've notice some bug with c-cex's balance page where sometime the address copied to clipboard would cut out, I think this is due to our long stealth address, all user should make sure of the address before sending.

Since you've posted about your problem, I've been going through all the codes related to encryption and password part of the client. There is nothing special about those part since it is pretty much intact from original Bitcoin wallet, we added the part where you can unlock your client by clicking on the locking icon on bottom left corner and choose to unlock for staking only.

I'm sorry but I really cannot help you here since I don't think it is a bug of our client.

Any other people having the same problem mentioned here?
