I became interested in a computer technology conference on cryptography.  Processors are essentially "good decision-making hardware" and graphics processors are "good execution/arithmetic hardware." After looking into how many developers are switching over to AMD Radeon, because of its higher theoretical computational power over the nVidia counterpart, and the release of the 7970, I thought I would give it a start.  So far I am interested improving my mining operation to run at higher efficiency to generate more income.

Do not forget that efficiency is key to the system as that will also determine the cost of running the system over a 24 hour period continuously.  You can also control the amount of power consumed by each graphics card by reducing its voltage to the core and memory, which would be useful as well (memory not quite important for bitmining). You could use a bios flashing program to test out lower voltages, but doing so decreases the max attainable stable clock, electrical current will not be affected; thus wattage can be changed through voltage.

Well there could be people/services out there that may be honest with their practice on bitcoin trading, but how do you know who/what is trustworthy? Are there any good trading services that offers a form of insurance to its customers?

May I please be be whitelisted? I have been mining for a few months already on bitminter, I would like to be able to post on a few topics concerning my pool, and try to sort out some technical issues that I am having.

Thank you

I just registered on this forum. So far only 20 minutes, so I have to wait for another 3 hours and 40 minutes before I can start posting or replying to topics?
