121  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: is it good to invest in ETH? on: September 20, 2018, 06:18:21 AM
Why not? Ethereum is a great stable coin so if you will invest in it you will have great profit in the future!
Well this is a function of the knowledge one have. You speak about investing in ETH because you might have an insight into the potential of the ETH technology which might be lacking in another man’s evaluation.

However, to be on the safe side, you should invest some money in ETH and some in BTC after investing the major part in some solid asset that does not depreciates. And keep holding the coins you own in an aggregate way that might earn you some great profit in future as it is uncertain and we never know what happens next.
122  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Too many new Exchanges on: September 19, 2018, 12:18:44 PM
I think, if there are too many exchangers it will give us many options to trade so that we can get exchangers that have a bigger profit and now there are many new coins popping up so that more exchangers are needed too
You are right that there are many exchanges and many more are coming and now it is difficult to choose one best exchange among many exchanges. However best thing can not hide from us or almost all the traders know about the best exchange that is Binance and then Bittrex etc. Binance help you out in many ways due to its simplicity people find it easy to use it as well as it provides large volume.
123  Economy / Economics / Re: Is Bitcoin Worth To Be Currency? on: September 19, 2018, 11:42:36 AM
Many argue that Bitcoin will replace fiat currency. If this becomes true in the future, then I think Bitcoin will be the strongest currency in the world, and everyone must use Bitcoin.

Bitcoin is a digital currency helping us in two major ways; one as investment source and one as payment mode. It is the most profitable source of investment along with another tremendous property of making friction-less transactions for us.

Then it is irrelevant to say that Bitcoin is not a currency and recently Germany proved that it is a necessary and useful source for the progress and success of a country.
124  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Right time to buy a lot of bitcoin. on: September 19, 2018, 11:11:25 AM
Right now is the perfect time to buy bitcoin. The current price of bitcoin is very low, so it is a great time to make an investment in it.
Irrespective of what the price in the market is. Bitcoin is worth investing in. The technology itself is of great importance that it will cover almost all the areas of transaction in future so everyone needs to invest in Bitcoin. As it is the only asset in the history of the money evolution that has been able to impart big profits to many people who had invested earlier. Moreover, the price might soon bounce back so better invest.
125  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How to survive in a bear market and cut out losses on: September 19, 2018, 10:39:25 AM
Very educative write up. I am guilty of not taking actions at the right time, in bull market I do forget to take profits, thinking that coins will continue going up forever and in bear, I always think it can't get any worse. Thanks for this eye opening article, I promise to be more proactive next bull.  Thanks
Because you are wrong in your approach. Sometimes its best to take profit at bullish trend because the price can't go on a parabolic rise. Just to remind you that this is a speculative market, so most of the time price jumps so quickly that you will miss profits if you are slow. In bear though, its a different approach, short and then take profits, look for another coins to be bump and they repeat. At least this is a good lessons or a test for everyone, how to survived in a bear season and be mentality tough as well.
Bear market is even better for us and making things easy for us in order to get Bitcoin on low price you will get it in bear market on low price. Using less money for something of high potential is better and Bitcoin gives you this opportunity so never miss this opportunity and try to utilize it. If you have some coins then do not sell it in bear market but wait for bull market is the only solution.
126  Economy / Economics / Re: Increasing number of celebrities endorsing cryptocurrency on: September 18, 2018, 09:30:44 AM
Former Manchester United and Real Madrid striker Michael Owen is launching a cryptocurrency in his own name, joining other famous sportsmen including Manny Pacquiao in a new venture to connect with fans.

The retired England star announced Wednesday his investment in the Singapore-based Global Crypto Offering Exchange (GCOX) as he unveiled the “Owen Coin”.

http://punchng.com/ex-england-star-michael-owen-to-launch-own-cryptocurrency/amp/

Could this be a booster to cryptocurrency because these celebrities have big influence world wide and could invariably canvass more support for cryptocurrency.
That’s nonsense all these people are just seeking for their own personal gains. Damn… cryptocurrency has changed to something, before it used to be a lot fun with few cryptos in the market, but there are lots of shit coins everywhere and everyone just wants to create their own cryptocurrency and rip money off from people. I even read yesterday that Paris Saint Germaine football club would be launching their own cryptocurrency too… Hmph… this is all turning to something else.
127  Economy / Economics / Re: When will Apple accept bitcoins? on: September 18, 2018, 07:35:48 AM
I just hope this hope will come to past, this will make btc more popular and many new investors will have confident on it to invest big.
Actually we can hope many beautiful things but all of them do not happen. This will be a high achievement for Bitcoin if it got accepted by a company like Apple.

In my opinion, Apply and companies like Microsoft will only accept this technology when it is operatable all over the world. Right now, Bitcoin is banned in many countries and keeping this situation in mind, an investor might not consider it a good choice.
128  Economy / Economics / Re: When will people feel comfortable using BTC ? on: September 18, 2018, 06:47:59 AM
When will people spend BTC as easily as fiat , not seeing it as an investment opportunity but a better currency for them to use ? Most of my friends that I have currently told about Bitcoin are most intrigued by its rapid rate of growth and not its outstanding features as a currency. They don't really care that it is free from government control , but are more focused on the fact that it has risen xy%

I don't really spend much of my Bitcoin , because I am always in fear.
I am not talking about cashing out , but for digital goods.

How do you spend 10 mBTC on a 5$ digital good when you believe that the same 10mBTC is worth atleast 15$ , probably more.
How much of your Bitcoin have you hoarded , and how much have you really spent ?
I am under the impression that people tend to hoard more with BTC than with fiat , considering it an investment more than a currency

I don't know how to make a poll here , so :- http://strawpoll.me/1793917
This is not referring to your blockchain.info statistic , which includes money you have moved around. I am looking at money you have truly spent vs total amount of BTC you have received.

Overall , I'm trying to look at how much my guess is true by the poll and your estimates of when majority of people will start looking at BTC as a currency.

EDIT : I'm not sure this is the right section , tell me if this should go in General Discussion or so.
Knowing that bitcoin was already banned in some countries and many people now are thinking negatively over it, we can really say that it would take up a very long time before everyone gets comfortable with the use of it. Although it is hard, we should still be happy considering the fact that there's a possibility that all the people in the world will feel familiar and comfortable with the use of bitcoin.
People are comfortable using the Bitcoin as investment source as we know that the most relevant strategy is to buy in low market which is a type of benefit too in order to use less money for buying it and will be more in numbers. Those people who invest in low market are safe and they just need to wait with patience till high market which is the perfect way to end up your investment.
129  Economy / Economics / Re: How Long Crypto market will take to recover? on: September 18, 2018, 06:08:09 AM
It is important to remember the goals ahead technology is ever expanding recovery can happen any moment.
Exactly. The technology has been expanding with great speed in the past few months and as soon as the market gives a green signal, the whole effect of the rise in the demand for Bitcoin will be seen on the front page in the form of price appreciation.

So yes, the market can recover anytime and stay ready for the surprise. The best thing we can and should do right now is to hold the coins we own and cash them as we step in to the green market.
130  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Long term vs. Short term on: September 15, 2018, 06:00:39 AM
my portfolio has about this distribution ...: 80% hold for a long time and 20% for a short period. I think this is the correct distribution of the deposit
If I choose to hold a BTC or ETH, I will choose the long term, and if I hold the other coin, I will choose short term, because the short term will give us low profits, but long term will bring higher income
Back than, when the market was normal and the prices of many coins were growing at a slow pace, it entirely depended on the type of coins that were easily available. Coins for example BTC, ETH and LTC were preferred for long term investment. Altcoin other than the mentioned were favored for short term investment.

Right now, when the market is down, invest in any coin that can give you future benefits when the market will rise. Do not expect instant profit now and give it some great good time to grow.
131  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: If you have now 500$ for invest? Where you invest? on: September 15, 2018, 05:26:28 AM
For now I personally prefer Bitcoin for my investment, because I am optimistic that in the next few months the value of bitcoin will increase again.
in my opinion it is also good to invest in bitcoin with your 500 $,
bitcoin will launch a hardfork, hopefully it can break into 10000 $
This optimism about the future of Bitcoin has been keeping many among us intact to the market and that is the reason so many people still invest in Bitcoin despite the unstable price and so many rumors. Bitcoin will definitely recover because of the fact that is so widely spread around the world that I would be a foolish thing not to see its future as the future cryptocurrency which will occupy the whole international market.
132  Economy / Economics / Re: What will happen to bitcoin? on: September 14, 2018, 06:03:38 AM
Bitcoin and cryptocurrency is a revolutionary technology that has come to stay and would help the financial sector and transfer of funds, so what would happen to BTC is that it would gain more traction get more adoption and become universally used for transfer of funds worldwide, so don't be bothered about current prices as these are just for sometime and won't last at  all.
This is something that only the economic minded people can understand. IF you are well versed about the technology and the market, you will not worry about the down prices of Bitcoin and any other coin.

This is because you understand the market phases and the business cycle and the worth of the asset you have invested in recovers after sometime when the market get back to equilibrium. Besides, if you look at the history of cryptocurrency, the coins had down prices back then and recovered slowly and gradually until they hit a high point.
133  Economy / Economics / Re: Who is the richest person? on: September 14, 2018, 05:28:50 AM
I have no doubt about the speculation that there are stealth billionaires that if their assets were declared, Jeff won't be in top 10. But there is no statistics to confirm that. Therefore, they are mere speculations.
It is true that most of the Bitcoin millionaires are not hidden from the world and therefore we are also encouraging and this shows positive image of Bitcoin. May be some investors with abundant crypto coins are in stealth mode but they will show their faces soon. Once we get profit from the Bitcoin then we will share our success stories and like to do this everywhere for fame.
134  Economy / Speculation / Re: How do you think Bitcoin & Crypto would look like in 10 years? on: September 14, 2018, 04:53:57 AM
The future of Bitcoin in the coming years is really a better one. When one says that Bitcoin is the future currency it doesn't necessarily means that every other curreny will disappear so that Bitcoin will exist but instead,  it means that both Bitcoin and countries fiat will cooperate together to work things out.
The future of Bitcoin will be brighter and the onwards after 10 years will be more bright as we know that 9 years ago its was equal to 1 US dollar and now it is equal to a lot of US dollars so this is a great achievement. Even if we look at its average price it is on the increase trend which is a strong proof for its better future, if is spreading in the world and with the passage of time and is improving by price as well.

135  Economy / Economics / Re: I almost lost my rock solid regular job because of crypto on: September 12, 2018, 07:43:28 AM
Like the title says, i almost lost my regular job as a software developer today when my boss reviewed my work. The job has been able to economically provide a comfortable life for me and losing it would really be a big hit to my income. I almost lost it because i spent so much time learning about everything crypto (mining, trading, bounties, etc.).

Has anyone else experienced this? I just feel pretty lucky I was given another chance and want to remind other people that having a regular job is much better than relying on the volatility of cryptocurrencies. Make sure you prioritize your work!

Keep doing it in your free time man - crypto jobs pay much more for the same qualifications
They say that practice makes a man perfect so if you practice only in crypto, you will be perfect only in crypto and might not perform a good role in the job you do in a company as good as you are expected to do.

In my opinion, you should give first priority to your job or at least create your own business, invest in property or in any kind of business that gives you good outcome. Having said that, only then you will be able to work free minded on crypto and would not need to worry about your jobs.
136  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin Rises Into Philippines Towards Legalization of Crypto Exchange on: September 12, 2018, 06:58:36 AM

Bitcoin prices rose on Wednesday amid reports that the Philippine Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) is considering allowing crypto currency exchange platforms to operate in the country.

Bitcoin edged up 1.0% to $ 7,353.4 at 11:55 p.m. on the Bitifinex exchange, while Ethereum fell 0.4% to $ 284.69.

Meanwhile, XRP traded at $ 0.33045, down 0.8% in the last 24 hours on Poloniex, while Litecoin rose 1.3% to $ 67.497.

The Manila Times reported that the SEC would work with Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas, the country's central bank, to arrange exchanges.

Citing SEC Commissioner Ephyro Lius Amatong, the Manila Times reported that the agency is likely to release draft regulations later this month and that they aim to regulate exchanges as a trading platform as soon as possible.

"We see the need to regulate them as a trading platform," Amatong told reporters.

"We have discussed this issue with BSP because BSP is also interested and we are also interested. The discussion ... [involved] supervision of cooperative cooperation on VCE involved in trade, "he said.

In other news, the Japanese Financial Services Agency (FSA) said the country was a currency that was reforming the registration process for crypto exchange.

"The state watchdog has increased the number of questions asked when filtering applications up to about 400 items - up fourfold," the FSA said.

FSA commissioner Toshihide Endo later added that the new regulations were not intended to limit financial innovation in the country, and that supervisors only intended to see the crypto industry "grow under the right regulations."
Trust me if government will fully legalize the use of Bitcoin there is really going to be a huge increase in the price of every cryptocurrencies, because the reason why most people don’t want to invest in cryptocurrency is because it is not legal in their country and people don’t really consider it a legit business to get involved in, they keep on believing that it is another ponzi scheme which might crash one day, but that’s totally wrong.
137  Economy / Economics / Re: Why everyone only invest in the crypto market? on: September 12, 2018, 06:07:37 AM
Perhaps simply because investing in crypto is way more profitable than investing in any platform. Crytpo is so fluctuative in any reason that is why they choosing it over in any kind of investment. However, it is still risky to invest in this platform because of unstable market but if you take that risk and you were lucky then probably I would say that well done it your success.
In the cryptocurrency market there are precious and potent coins which are highly rated and best considering for investment as you will get huge returns of your investment if you start buying one of the best crypto coins. Bitcoin is at the top in crypto world and is the most valuable as well with high potential of producing huge profit and is favorable for long term so if you want to proceed for short term then other coins like Litecoin are available.
138  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Best crypto to buy now? on: September 11, 2018, 06:52:37 AM
I just started working with crypto currency. I'm new. For me, the safest and most promising crypto currency is the BTC. I only bought this crypto currency. Also now I'm going to buy ETH, I believe in its growth.
Yes this is what I believe about the Bitcoin market. Though the current market price is low, it has been showing reluctance to the drop that has been very visible in the rest of the coins.

The demand for the coins is also high because of the impending rise in the price and the investors make great decisions according to the expected price and current price difference and this strategy proves fruitful despite the prevailing market rumors about the end of the technology.
139  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is Bitcoin at 25000 possible? on: September 11, 2018, 06:13:27 AM
Bitcoin is currently trading at 6k but there has been a  consistent prediction that before the year ends it will be up to 25,000. I want to know how many of you share in that optimism because at present, it's all bearish and nothing more.

Now you can see how bitcoin is strong.. Currently price falling under 6000 dollars and we do not know how low price will achieve. In my opinion these falls are caused by whales to join to market with the lowest price to achieve the biggest profit later.

I am still passionate and optimistic about the future of Bitcoin irrespective of what its current market status is. It is not the first time Bitcoin has fallen. We have been through times when Bitcoin was just few dollars and it rose all these years and achieved this position.

SO it will rise again. It is a new technology and as the demand for Bitcoin rise, it will rise the price directly as well. This is something proved mathematically as well.
140  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Careful with Social Media Tips on: September 08, 2018, 08:02:36 AM
The digital age of the throne has given us more and more timely information, but there are also a number of issues we should keep in mind that we need to be more careful. Social Media Tips
Yes true, there are lots of information online and you just need find the good ones. Some of them are old but due to the high traffic to their site or so, Google and other search engines  will always pull them up when you make a search… so it’s good to know what step they took in discovering that and also taking the same step in finding out what it trendy and what to follow next.

Just like coming to this forum and seeing a topic that says ‘price will go up soon and checking the date it was posted only to see that it was five years ago… LOL. Butpeople who don’t check things out will quickly take it and buy, without knowing they falling into a trap.
