Can you write detailed instructions on how to install on top of HiveOS - Awesome Miner?
Please see this guide as a starting point:
https://support.awesomeminer.com/support/solutions/articles/35000086210-remote-agent-for-linux
after installing of Am on Hive, run this command:
ldconfig /hive/lib/

otherwise not all miners will work properly

"""Use ssh user@192.168.0.xxx from Linux or Mac. Windows users can use Putty ssh client. The default password is "1". Once logged in, run sudo -s to become root. Start or stop miners, agent, etc. produced only from the root user
If you prefer a graphical interface, then a VNC server is at your service. Use VNC Viewer or any other VNC client to connect to the IP address vnc: //192.168.0.xxx: 5900.
The ShellInABox server is running in the rig. You can open https://192.168.0.xxx:4200/ in your browser for web access.
The default login is user password 1."""

Do I need to register the command after logging in through Putty, do I need to write "sudo -s" to get root, what command should I write?
Small quide how to prepare & configure HiveOS USB stick and AwesomeMiner:

configure BIOS of your rig to use extern GPU as primary video output
put USB stick with fresh HIveOS installation in your mining rig.
connect hdmi monitor to GPU which is connected to main PCE slot
switch on rig power
after HiveOS loaded do following commands:
hivepasswd somepassword
diskexpand
selfupgrade
wget http://www.awesomeminer.com/download/setup/awesomeminer-remoteagent.tar.xz
tar xvJf awesomeminer-remoteagent.tar.xz
cd awesomeminer-remoteagent
sudo ./service-install.sh
ldconfig /hive/lib/

now you can access your rig linux console from remote computer over: ssh user@yourRigIP

you can install a new NVIDIA driver. (preffered) This upgrade you must do over remote console!
Login to rig over ssh and do this commands:
logs-on
reboot

after rebooting:
cd awesomeminer-remoteagent
*stop*
killall xinit
nvidia-driver-update

after driver installation complete (need some time) do this commands:

logs-off
reboot

now you can use HiveOS+AM together

P.S. Very important! Do not assign any flightsheets or set any watchdogs, autofan, overclocks in Hive Web interface for this rig. This will cause a conflict between AM and Hive! Only put rig.conf file on USB stcik (Better if you simple create a fresh rig instance on Hive website for this setup) All what we need from Hive is only configured Linux and cuda libs, nothing more. AM remote agent will do the rest.

Enjoy.

He-he, i see you use AMD cards, then you can skip a step with NVDIA driver update. I see you have installed AM remote agent. If you cant connect to rig over AM, then check:
If you marked in AM the rig host as a Linux host
check windows firewall

Patrike, you need implement a download queue for mining software after AM upgrading. If user have a lot of miners and rigs on the LTE network and all this rigs want download software at the same time, its come to huge mining downtime. Regards

Hi Patrike
found some small bugs:
Prefiks for MiningPoolHub for algo Ethash default value must be changeg from stratum+tcp:// to startum2+tcp:// (can be changed manualy in "Online Services" section)
unable connect with NBMiner to MiningPoolHub Ethash, due wrong protocol prefiks. NBminer use ethproxy+tcp://, but must be startum2+tcp:// (I dont understand why NBMiner ignore prefiks value from "Online Services" where i have manually changed to startum2+tcp:// )

regards

hello

I want to know how can i edit (where can i edit) the phoenixminer options like MCLOK or CCLOK (on command line).

i tryed to input on managed miner properties / command line but the miner did not take effect.

Also, i have the professional license that does not allow me to edit the clocks.

tks
try: Miner context menu (right mouse click) -> Properties->Advanced and add Variable+params
or Propierties->Command Line section, put there your variables+value
or same in Profit Profile for the miner "Command line parameters"

Hi Patrike
I have some suggestion how you can made AM more interesting for people who dont have a mining rigs. You need to add a possibilty for renting a hashpower from other AM users, ofcouse if this rigs will be marked as available for renting. I know this is a huge thing, but you can grab some extra profit from this new created market.
You can implement Lightning network for payment between users and for AM fee. This will be very good for Bitcoin and crypto.

Hi Patrike.

Looks like AM delegate a wrong parameter config for Bminer 16.3.1 with new param -fast I am was unable to start mining process, Syntax error.

AM sent this string:
/root/.config/AwesomeMinerService/bminer-v16.3.1-135666e-amd64.tar_1/bminer-v16.3.1-135666e/bminer   -fast -watchdog=false -uri ethash://0x71c0c1e65dfb0a24dc59b851701fd92d51f37910.1070_@eu1.ethermine.org:4444 -api=0.0.0.0:4028

Bminer crash output:
invalid value "-watchdog=false" for flag -fast: strconv.ParseInt: parsing "-watchdog=false": invalid syntax
Bminer: When Crypto-mining Made Fast (v16.3.1-135666e)

AM v.8.0.2

And big thanks for great HeatMap feature.

Regards

Upd. without -fast flag i can start Bminer, but miner not find any valid shares, miner only in DAG file creation loop till crash.

Hi Patrik
The benchmark of Bminer ver. 16.3 deliver a wrong hashrate data (algo CuckaToo32).
I have tested a rig of 6x 1080ti on the 20 min. run on Nicehash. Benchmark show 4.34 H/s, but in reality if i start normal mining on the Nicehash, hashrate is only 3.7 H/s.  AM ver. 8.0.1 Check please. Regards

Upd. Now show Bminer normal, like in benchmark. Simple Bminer have very big fluctration in hashrate data on Nicehahsh.

Cant understand why profit statistic data for Cortex coin come and gone randomly? Anyone have the same issue? Is this statistic provider problem or AM problem? This happens only with Cortex. If this behavior come from provider, maybe is a good idea to store last recived statistic data and mark the outdated data with another color till new actual data will be recived from provider. Otherwise this made profit switching process crazy. I see that the mining of Cortex is profitable, but if AM has not recived data, AM switch my rigs to other coin.
Can you please go to the Options dialog, Statistics Provider section and see if "Keep coins even when no longer listed by provider" is enabled? If not, please check it to make sure Awesome Miner keeps coins from being removed.
It was always checked. Check or uncheck not help.

Hello, new here.

I'm having a very strange issue with AM. I am using a paid license for AM and my boss asked me to switch to mining ETH directly a couple of weeks ago. The easiest way to do what he requested was to recreate all of my miners as managed miners. To do this, I had used the  network scan to bulk create all the miners based on any machines the manager found on the network running Awesome Miner Remote Agent. However, that plan was short lived and I was soon asked to switch it all back. After removing all of the managed miners I created, I am now having issues getting the original managed profit miners to start properly. I seem to only be able to get a few of them to start at a time and when I tell the ones that are stopped to start, it stops a bunch of the ones that were already mining and this just keeps going around in circles. I have recreated some of the miners but that has had little effect.  I've RDP'd into each one and manually restarted the remote agent and I've rebooted each and every mining rig as well as the manager rig and nothing seems to be resolving this problem. Also. the Start and Stop buttons sometimes have absolutely no effect on the miner I actually have highlighted when I click the button. It is absolutely mind-boggling.

Does anyone have any suggestions?

Thanks.

EDIT: On closer examination, it appears that a some of these rigs that AM says are "stopped" are actually mining but it doesn't show up in AM.

If I could just get the Start/Stop buttons to stop appearing to control more than one rig at a time, that would be great.

EDIT AGAIN: It appears that simply changing the description of one of my miners can have a pretty big effect on the rest of the miners, making them stop or start. It makes no sense.

FINAL EDIT: TL;DR: NONE of my miners are duplicates but the Start/Stop buttons in AM seem to affect more than one miner anyway. How do I fix this?

ACTUAL FINAL EDIT: Alright nevermind. I've fixed it. Turns out there were a bunch of duplicate miners in the Managed Hosts section of Options. This software really sucks.
You have a chaos in your rig IPs. Every time when you restart your rig, your router assign a new random IP to a rig. First you must configure your network router. Your router must always assign the same IP to a rig which you has written in "Managed Host" in Awesome Miner settings. Good router software must have a "binding IP to host mac address" function,

Hi Patrike, reciving your message, will wait next update.
Another thing: Etherium price in Coin tab is wrong (to low), but if i switch manualy to ETH mining, day profit in miner tab will be viewed correct.
I am use default coin and statistic provider properties, WhatToMine - on , CoinsToMine - on, Coincalculators -on
Please check. Regards.
Please let me know how you configured your Exchange filter mode and minimum exchange volume. Both are located on the Statistics Providers page.
Do you have the same profile hashrate on the Coins tab as the actual hashrate you have when you are mining?
I have tested with different filter settings, volume 0,01 0,1, disabled.  No exchange filters
Yes, profile hashrate in Coin Tab same as the actual hashrate.
This problem only with ETH

Upd: The problem with wrong ETH profit statistic data was gone after i have changed TT-Miner ver. 5.03 to NBMiner 31.1 But still not show correct price in Coins tab.
Explain me please how it can be possible??? I have no plan....

Another thing i have found: If you use NBMiner 31.1 you need explicit write "stratum+tcp:// " to pool connection string, otherwiese no connection.

I use this pool: stratum+tcp://ru-eth.hiveon.net:4444

Regards

I have sent a email with printscreens...

Hi patrike, have some problems

GPU tab not show more PCI BUS ID, Memory type, size
NIMIQ coin not more show price data, coin is present, but without data from WhatToMine. Not understand why, before was all ok.
Rigs on HiveOS.

upd. Statistic come back. Problem with displaying GPU BUS ID, Memory manafacturer, etc. still persist
The current support for Memory Size and Memory manufacturer looks like this:
- nVidia Windows: Memory size + manufacturer supported
- AMD Windows: Memory size
- nVidia Linux: Memory size
- AMD Linux: Memory size (but not with a very stable way of detecting it).

Was it nVidia on Linux you where running? And you don't see PCI Bus ID and not the new Memory Size/Manufacturer on the GPU tab in Awesome Miner?
Yes, i am on Linux (Hive) + NVIDIA. But i saw PCI BUS ID info after first installing of version where this future was added, not understand why this information gone after a while?Huh At the moment i can see: GPU Vendor name and Memory size.  That is all.
AwesomeMiner ver. 7.8.10
Installed NVIDIA Driver 400.100 (400.82 not show too)
Hive ver. 0.6-155 (latest at the moment)
Win. 10 pro build 2004
Regards
Thanks for all details.
1) Please send me a screenshot of the GPU tab in Awesome Miner
2) Please run the following command (in Linux) and share the output with me:
Code:
nvidia-smi --query-gpu=name,pci.bus,index,temperature.gpu,utilization.gpu,fan.speed,power.draw,clocks.current.graphics,clocks.current.memory,pci.sub_device_id,memory.total --format=csv,noheader,nounits
screenshot sent on the email. (over awesomeminer.com website)

Other thing: I have once more time try to create a execution chain of rules.
I define a "rule1" where i do a some action of "rule1" and call execution of "rule2" over "Run actions of another rule"
in the "rule2" i do some action and after this call a "rule3" over "Run actions of another rule"
Problem is, that this chain logic work only in "rule1" but not in "rule2". Running of "rule3" from "rule2" will be ignored.

Regards

Upd: Once more time read your previous post about rule logic. Now i am understand that i cant realise my chain logic. Patrike can you change "run actions of another rule" setting and add possibilty to select more then only one "another rule". I have many miners and i want only with one rule change parameters of many miners.

Hi Patrike, thanks for GPU ID info, this is very helpful now. Maybe in future you will completly implement feature "View GPU details" for Linux rigs too.
I have some another suggestions:
Can you add in GPU miner context menu a possibility to direct open a ssh terminal window for selected miner. Of course this need to be configured in Options first, login/password, port, locale etc.
Can you add a colors in GPU temp in web interface, if user have many rigs and fast scroll, offten dificult to see if some cards have overtemp.
Can you add a "Restart" button in web interface for remote restarting Awesome Miner programm. Sometimes this helps to run programm correctly.

Regards

Hi Patrrike, please add small extra to GPU tab and display a BUS ID info of connected GPU. If rig on Linux, you cant find this info in AM, That will help for diagnostic. And thanks for rule explanation, will try once more time )))

Hi Patrike, i cant understand how i can configure new feature of rules "run actions of another rule"
Example:
i have created "rule1" where i set:
Apply profit profile: "power profit profile for miner1"
activate: "run action of another rule" and select "rule2"

in rule2 i do the same actions but only for miner2

Problem is, that the "rule1" only execute actions of "rule2" for "miner1". Cant understand rule configuration logic.

How i can configure rule where i can run rules in a chain, one by one Huh First rule execute commands for actual miner and then delegate execution to other miner and so on.

Regards
