121  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: ✅🔥[ANN] [ICO] JACS - Internet 3.0 Decentralized Infrastructure 🔥✅ on: October 13, 2020, 07:02:46 PM
an extraordinary product and has many benefits for the internet network, but right now I am only focused on the quality of tokens, if the token sale is fine and reaches the target, of course the products from the JACS project will also be able to continue to grow and expand the network, because all it requires a large amount of money
Right! Fingers crossed for the TokenSale & Quality of tokens. With a good fund, we are gonna be able to adhere to our timeline/roadmap starting with the Pre-Alpha version, Alpha, Beta, all the way up to: Official-1 (JACS Public Cloud), Official-2 (JACS Native chain) and Official-3 (S/W and H/W bundled solution)
But even in parallel, we are working hard for JACS to debut - shortly in a month or less - as a Mobile VPN App for both Apple and Android.

I see that your project identified as ViaBlock on almost all your social media channel. Does it mean JACS previously named ViaBlock? would you tell us the reason to change the name from ViaBlock into JACS? or may be JACS is one of ViaBlock product?

regards,
Exactly.
viaBlock LTD is the company and JACS is one of our projects
123  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: ✅🔥[ANN] [ICO] JACS - Internet 3.0 Decentralized Infrastructure 🔥✅ on: October 12, 2020, 06:40:33 PM

Appreciated!

Can you please correct the start and end dates to reflect the real ones (1-29 November, 2020)....CD is pulling info from ICOBench, and the latter isn't updating their website since months and we failed to reach out to them for correction....CryptoCompare has it right though (https://www.cryptocompare.com/coins/jacs/overview)
Sure all information now is updated
if you have some further update of information
just simply contact us. Cheers
btw you can also vote for JACS in Token Sale Directory
to get a chance to become one of Featured Token Sale in Crypto Directories Homepage for free.

This is amazing! Thank You so much

maybe JACS will later become the ICO that many people are waiting for.
I see that the JACS project has great power to be a big and successful ICO I can't wait to wait for the good news from this JACS project
Thank You so much.....Fingers Crossed Wink

I see this very good project i hope ICO will success .
Maybe the team needs to create a telegram community so that everyone can easily and freely ask questions and share information about this project

They should have a group to provide information to participants or investors who wish to participate in this project. I will look and find out about this project.

Roger That!
We are also very active on the website/query form, social media platforms & email...Please feel free to get in touch for any question or concern

Thank's for your response to me that this project is still developing in the future. I'll look in more detail on this project group later.

You're always welcome....In less than a month, we're gonna have the first product (JACS VPN Mobile App, that is part of the Pre-Alpha suite) for Apple & Android. Also, it's worth mentioning that JACS Prototype (over Linux) is live over Github since Q2, 2019

does it only have an ICO plan? we all know that ICO now is not a good way to raise money, isn't doing IEO better, will you have that plan in the future, please create a group on telegram so that it is easier for us to have discussions
We're on it for sure!

As blockchain is at the heart of what we are developing (JACS = blockchain + CLNS), our Tokenomics categories are clear/sharp and we love doing things the traditional way; we chose to go for an ICO instead of an IEO or any new trend i.e. DeFi (we love these though and have nothing against them) Smiley

134  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: A new Internet Infrastructure is needed because: on: January 04, 2020, 08:45:54 AM
Quoting from this article:

https://www.internetsociety.org/blog/2016/09/final-report-on-tcpip-migration-in-1983/

""  The immediate impact of TCP/IP adoption was a huge increase in the available address space, as 32 bits allows for approximately 4 billion hosts. Unfortunately, this address space was not allocated efficiently  ""

The world ran out of IPv4 addresses, formally Q1, 2011 and apparently IPv6 adoption didn't go as expected?

Isn't it the right time to change the IP system (IPv4 and IPv6) altogether?

135  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: A new Internet Infrastructure is needed because: on: November 28, 2019, 11:49:52 AM
What about the IPv6 as an alternative system of addresses for the Internet?

Assuming around 7 billion devices connected (1 for each person alive today); It had been anticipated for many years that the system of address allocation would be unable to keep up with predicted future demand.

It had been anticipated for many years that the IPv4 system of address allocation (32 bits) would be unable to keep up with predicted future demand and so IPv6 (128 bits) was developed by the Internet Engineering Task Force, IETF in 1998 to counter the problem.

The eventual jump to 128 bits (ratified as an internet standard in 2017) created an intergalactic potential of unique addresses to rely on, but like many other aspects of life; the IPv6 got shelved for 15 years and while everyone was improving IPv4, nobody ported those improvements to IPv6, until the Internet community woke up and realized it was the right time to start dusting the arcane protocol that barely anyone touched for many years.

The above figure clearly shows that the adoption of IPv6 is slowing and maybe tailing off.

136  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / A new Internet Infrastructure is needed because: on: November 26, 2019, 12:05:14 PM
The Internet which has radically altered society as we know it on Planet Earth in little over a generation may be one of the best things since sliced bread but it's actually just a whole load of computers wired together with clever routing and as such, it relies on a system for allocating addresses (IP addresses) so that all connected devices can communicate with each other.

Assuming around 7 billion devices connected (1 for each person alive today); It had been anticipated for many years that the system of address allocation would be unable to keep up with predicted future demand.

With only 5 address allocators (RIRs or regional registries per continental territory), it means a highly centralized system with lots of single points of failure that is often slow to respond adequately to change through a lack of flexibility, innovation and competition.

All allocated addresses require renewal fees to be paid repeatedly and with the advent of the Internet of Things, IoT meaning a whole new generation of everyday electrical appliances requiring their own multiple internet addresses, and the roll out of ultra-high bandwidth 5G networks, address stack renewal fees will begin to stack up ever higher as ever more addresses will be required over the long term.
137  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ???? AFRAID OF NEW PROJECTS !!! ? on: September 24, 2019, 11:56:35 AM
I am currently in the same boat but I am a true believer that if everything on the 'due diligence list' of this project is good and sound (idea, people, development progress...); it will definitely succeed with the 'right' folks believing and investing in it
138  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Blockchain revolutionizing decentralized Web 3.0 for IoT on: September 14, 2019, 09:53:54 AM
Transport Protocol means the infrastructure itself
That maps to the Layer-3 (Network) layer of the OSI model
139  Economy / Services / *** Required: Linux Kernel Developer *** For a Big Project Coming Soon! on: December 07, 2018, 01:29:11 PM
Hi,

We're looking for an expert Linux Kernel developer who can dig into a specific Networking protocol residing in Linux Kernel and modify parts of its code and hence functionality.

This is not a simple task, we are not looking for someone who can configure simple functions over Linux.

This is part of a big project that (as you may expect) will encompass blockchain at some point. We'll be posting other related roles & news soon.

Once agreed upon, a formal NDA agreement needs to be signed beforehand.

Payment for this assignment will be in Crypto (BTC, ETH) or FIAT (PayPal, Wire)

Based on the progress and quality of work produced; the expert could be offered a long-term contribution agreement with our company, probably a board seat/shareholder for the upcoming project, plus - of course - a decent % of Team tokens.

Good luck!
140  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Reasons why ICOs fail on: July 25, 2018, 10:34:14 AM
IMO, one of the reasons that many ICOs (even if they are for real) fail is the project owners' attitude when they see big money flowing into their wallet, they then forget about their promises, dreams and initial goals for which they went for crowd fund first place
