the founders have said that they will be converting all ICO token (BTC, ETH) donations to fiat. why?

i'm back after several months away. trying to catch up. Lannister and i chatted quite a bit a year ago about the project. is he around, or has he handed community relations over to a new person? just asking.

so what's the consensus about this project so far? authentic and verified as such, or still some uncertainty and doubt?

have the devs supplied answers that satisfy this community?

is Dubai considered to be a territory with a reliable governance and regulatory framework for such projects, or is it a bit of a wild west place?

massive growing pains. can't keep up with crypto bubble expansion. probably focused on gathering fees before fixing marginal issues.

probably best when exiting coins from Polo that are manually transacted to use another coin that is fully supported (i.e. without the need for human intervention inside Polo). So, as recommended earlier, exchange Lisk to Litecoin (or another fully supported and widely accepted coin) and then transfer the Litecoin out. probably a manual error problem that no one inside Polo is willing to hold their hand up to to having made. fraud? i don't know about that. where's the evidence?

did i express 'terms' on the market side of this ICO? it has been widely suggested on forums that the founders should cap their beneficial gain from the ICO at a fixed ceiling value in response to their reasoning that the ICO is uncapped to encourage both the widest distribution of tokens and anti whaling concentrations of tokens. they have chosen not to cap their gain (of a project that has delivered as yet nothing of utility to society or economy). Capping their gain and maximum token distribution are not mutually exclusive outcomes. The present structure of the ICO allows for the founders to become exceedingly wealthy for creating disproportionately little common value. this is yet another example of the 'excesses' we have witnessed in other financial markets down the years. The founders hail from Wall Street.

the transition to POS could be a crunch moment for Ethereum.

what i dislike most about the founders is the sense of 'entitlement' they have, that the market must reward them (and enormously) for what they have 'achieved' to date.

these devs could be anywhere. the entity may be registered in Dubai but that might be all that's there. they could be in the US, Europe, Pakistan,...who knows where.
