121  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Could Bytecoin come back and overtake Monero? on: October 14, 2016, 03:34:51 PM
What is bytecoin? Huh

Never heard of it.

But if you guys are planning a pump, I'm ready to jump right in Grin
122  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Potcoin has almost 8% of Bitcoin's volume. on: October 14, 2016, 03:32:55 PM
And the price of potcoin just keeps tumbling down, down. Hope the coin does not fall off the radar completely Undecided
123  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: [XMR] Monero Speculation on: October 14, 2016, 03:25:14 PM
Well, I'm waiting for monero to hit rock bottom before buying and stockpiling it. I know the coin will rise back again Grin
124  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] ICONOMI - Fund Management Platform on: October 14, 2016, 03:13:54 PM
I just hope the ICN developers will not shift the release date again...
125  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: [ARDR] Ardor Price Speculation on: October 12, 2016, 11:29:11 AM
Ardor(REP) is already out and selling on Poloniex. In fact there are dumping signs already, it hit the market at $6.77 few days back and it's already around $5.
126  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin vs Ethereum on: October 12, 2016, 11:26:42 AM
One thing ethereum has going for it is the fact that you can adjust transactions and reverse things you are not pleased with.
127  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [ICN] ICONOMI Bounty Report are final now! people are happy now on: October 12, 2016, 11:06:18 AM
At last I have received all of my bounties.  There was no problem with the procedure, however it was pure luck for me to notice the rules on claiming. Maybe there are some guys who did not see the posts about the claiming process as I did.

Have you received your ICN coins already? I have not received mine, wonder how long it will take them to finish distributing.
128  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Get More For Your Hash! Merge Mine Unobtanium with Bitcoin on: October 12, 2016, 11:05:27 AM
Yeah! And I also noticed the price of UNO has risen on coinmarketcap. The difficulty surge is due to the increase in demand.
129  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: (burnt mobo pins), what should I do? on: October 12, 2016, 10:55:00 AM
Burnt conductors get damaged easily, and become more of a liability than an asset as time progresses. If the color has changed, your best bet is to start planning for a new replacement.
130  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Anyone else try to login to ripple and notice there is no more login page? on: October 12, 2016, 10:37:20 AM
I suppose there should be someone you can contact on that site to guide you through the steps. They should be aware they still have some customer funds with them.
131  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Expected price of ICONOMI? on: October 12, 2016, 10:34:27 AM
At present the price of ICN is around $0.22, some say it will hit $5 in less than a month. But coins that pump fast, also dump fast.
132  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2016-10-9]Earning Bitcoin to Watch Ads:Is the “Attention Economy” Finally Here? on: October 10, 2016, 10:14:46 AM
All kinds of "economy" keeps springing up nowadays. We just might have the "exercise more economy" where people would be paid to do some daily exercise to stay healthy.
133  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: A few lines of code... on: October 10, 2016, 10:08:15 AM
Sounds like a massive gap in the market is opneing up, then.

The question is: why don't any of the above complainers want to own +1000x their share of BTC in GavinCoin? Isn't it more logical to let Bitcoin fail, and instead own a larger amount of a superior asset?

Well no one wants to leave bitcoin because it is the grandfather of crypto and in different ways, we've all grown attached to it.
134  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Keeping track of your investments- spreadsheets, programs, what do you use? on: October 10, 2016, 10:00:09 AM
I suppose my jotter is sufficient for me to keep track of all my trading ventures - it's not much to start with.
The jotter allows me to revise things without having to switch on the computer.
135  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: It's all one big scam people... Monero dead now. on: October 10, 2016, 09:48:46 AM
Even those who crashed in late can still make some decent profit if they are willing to wait for like a year.
The thing about coins is that they all have peak periods, the gap between these peak periods is what freaks out lots of traders.
136  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2016-10-07] Nasdaq Wants to Patent Blockchain Backups for Exchanges on: October 10, 2016, 09:45:30 AM
That's good to know.
Soon enough, Nasdaq might just develop a new coin where by stocks would be traded as coins and transactions recorded on the Nasdaq blockchain.
137  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: A good trading site for commodities. on: October 10, 2016, 09:43:16 AM
No, I've never heard of SimpleFX. Are you affiliated to the company?
If this is some kind of advert, you might have to move this thread to the service announcement section so more people would be aware.
138  Economy / Investor-based games / Re: Join zarfund today and make millions with bitcoin. on: October 10, 2016, 09:39:34 AM
So Zarfund is like peer to peer marketing whereby the more people you invite, the more you earn?
Question: Do participants pay to an escrow, what's the certainty the scheme won't collapse with all funds someday?
139  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2016-10-08] How blockchain can change the music industry on: October 10, 2016, 09:36:11 AM
I suppose the blockchain will help reduce piracy by restricting unauthorized access. But it can't stop pirates from burning the music into a CD and making mass copies of the content.
140  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: McAfee’s MGT Goes Into Bitcoin Mining, With Massive Amount of Hardware on: October 10, 2016, 09:18:03 AM
McAfee had better be using really cheap electricity if it hopes to compete with the Chinese miners because that is one reason they are the leading miners.
