121  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: [NLG] The great Gulden thread on: July 26, 2018, 08:49:01 AM
I would of been worried about the premine if Rijk was anonymous and no development was done. My only concern is that the funds is managed well, there hasn't been any begging from Rijk from the last round of funding in 2016? It's safe to assume he is not overspending. imo

When the premine is finished, do you think it will help the price of Gulden and who would pay the developers to continue on working for Gulden?

Please, they are already sitting on more than € 3.5mm they got out of the "shares" program. Even if they all drove Lambo's and picked up a heroine addiction, they would still be able to keep it up for a couple more years.

Why is it so bad to ask what is happening to a single stack of Gulden, representing 25% of all coins, sitting in the hands of one individual? Have you ever thought what would happen to your money when it's all locked in witness for 3 years and Rijk gets killed in a car crash? What if his heirs decide to market-sell the 100mm NLG because they don't care about this project and need the cash? You will all be witnessing indeed, the drop of the rate to 1sat, without any escape!

So yes, I guess I would like to see how things are arranged with the premine still. Don't you?
122  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: [NLG] The great Gulden thread on: July 26, 2018, 08:38:30 AM
Ok, at the risk (don't really care btw) of getting hatred from the fanboys again, here is an actual serious question.

Where have all the premine notices gone and why hasn't anyone raised questions about that anymore? I'm asking because I was curious if some of the premine might have gone into witnessing. Nowhere on the official Gulden sites and channels I can find any links or even pointers towards the premine.

Is no one curious about where the premine resides anymore? Doesn't anyone care what happened to that bit fat chunk of Guldens (almost 1/3 of Guldens in circulation atm)Huh

I'm not trying to derail anything here, just wondering how they got away with having one of the largest premined coins around, without anyone bothering with it's status and whereabouts anymore.

Does anyone have a list of addresses where we can track the remaining premine?
Please, not this pre-mine again. If I would get 20 NLG for every time you mentioned this I would have been on the Bahama’s right now. All ico’s are preminded, nobody gives a shit anymore.

I respect your ongoing positive contribution to Gulden Jean Luc, please also respect my ongoing critical assessment of it.

Rijk has played it rather well. It used to be normal that the premine was openly displayed on all the sites and ANN. It was always a necessity to have a transparent ledger of it's use. He slowly started banning everyone for even using the word premine. Now every reference is completely gone and the 100mm+ NLG are neatly tucked away in his back pocket.

Quote
But since you do, with just under 10% of nlg in witness now, it can’t involve the 1/3 you mentioned. It doesn’t ADD up.

You are right. Since 70mm has been spend already the 100mm NLG he still privately holds is now 1/4th of all coins in circulation:

If Rijk is such a trustworthy guy, why not openly disclose the whereabouts of the premine? Why hide in the dark and blaster everyone that asks legit questions about it?

Again, does anyone have the addresses where we can see the remaining premine?

so you guys are all banned from slack?  Grin

Hi, my name is Rich and I'm banned from Slack  Embarrassed

Rijk has no power over my actions... I banned myself.

(1) One would think Rijk would be not that stupid that he would kick Jean Luc from slack.  The man with the very well informed and good looking Guldenbites.com website who gives us very interesting news.  (2) They can better link website on CMC to Guldenbites.com

(1) Never underestimate the psychology of a dictator, Rijk has a long trackrecord of chasing away heavy weight assets with best intentions over less.
(2) We agree once more!  Smiley

Could someone in the slack channel or in any other channel ask to have it changed with the reasons mentioned above..  Users and especially new ones want to be informed well.

You mostly have one chance to interest them and if it does not look good they invest their money in anonther coin and we need all the new investors we can get.

We can do updates and we can sponsor footgolf but this is the base and that has to be right as well.  Everything that points out to Gulden has to be 100% perfect.

Jean Luc can you ask that for me please?

Are we sure we want to ask this of Jean Luc? If he gets banned (not hypothetical at all), who is going to feed us the positive news at the ban-bin then?

But thanks for trying Jean Luc! We are with you brave soul!

Gulden users got bitten on the ass this weekend because the devs playing God with the blockchain. Trying to make money smart instead of leaving Gulden as satoshi intended. Keeping it pure to original whitepaper. EFL never messed with the blockchain and today we have a very fast blockchain where transfers work.

I had that view in the past as well, but in the years I've seen that Satoshi was mistaken in a few points, some have been corrected, some repaired in a flawed way and some not. If you want to keep it "pure to the original whitepaper", there is BitcoinCash. EFL started as a scam coin and hasn't recovered since... have those missing EFL already surfaced, or are they still in the pocket of the original scammer?

At least they have the luxury that their original DEV has left the project with part of the premine in his pocket. Gulden still has him on board acting worse than Kim Jong Un, also with the premine in his pocket (and 650BTC from the "shares").

Not shore which one is worse  Roll Eyes

Nice to see the Gulden devs are proudly advertising their hard work in their ANN:

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1577392.msg21717647#msg21717647

... or wait

...never mind  Huh

Very, very good point!

You have someone sent from coinmarketcap gulden announcement to https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=554412.0 and there you see New ANN: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1343317.0 and if you click that you go to https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1577392.new#new on a Gulden closed thread.

If you click that link you go to https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1577392.new#new and you see https://dev.gulden.com/august-development-update/ and you think nice that it is being developed and allready august update but when you click it you see it is august 2017 ......  fml  Shocked Roll Eyes

What does a new, maybe interested person, think about Gulden coin =>  This coin is dead,  no development no forum messages.  Next!  Bye, bye new investor and new money in.   Cry

Can someone change that plz and link it to this thread or to another Gulden thread that is alive and kicking?

Only verified devs are allowed to do so. And since that is our beloved leader, he won't. Why? Because it's his opinion that everything related to the crypto world is bad. So he won't act upon it. Even though everyone can see your assessment is right.

Real nice we can have these discussions here with People on both sides without someone gets banned.  You can talk about marketing, development or even about other coins.

I think that makes a coin also better that you can say anything without being afraid that you get banned. Good things can come out of it.

Freedom of speech is a great good and it is even better when it is also with respect,

Especially for Rich P.  =>  Buy Gulden now it is way to cheap .....  moon etc  Grin  ( Joke, just kidding m8)

We agree!

(except for the last line off course, buying at these rates would raise my average price  Grin)

I decided not to feed the troll anymore, think we giving Rich too much attention.

Thanks for finally listening to my advise!

I'm only trolling when stupid kids try to attack me with dumb and unfounded remarks. I dare you to read up on my posts here. You may find the majority are filled with factual statements supported by proof. And yes, as long as Rijk is getting away with his "The Wave" type experiment involving numerous brainless followers, I keep raising my voice here. Don't like the freedom I take? Join the Gulden Slack! There you will only find blind followers. The ones trying to ask critical questions or share educated thoughts end up in the ban-bin.

I read those posts and I know that some things are quite shady, I still came to a different conclusion than you.
If you go back in some older comments I criticised that people are seemingly banned for minor reasons and that this keeps the community of Gulden very limited. Btw. I'm in the slack channel and I see where you come from with your reasoning, still I end up with a different conclusion than you.

As I said, I don't have a problem with your message but with the method you try to spread it. If Rijk reigns with a sword in the slack (I can't verify it) then it's no added value if you try to bring that to here too. Try to be a bit more Gandhi and a bit less Robespierre Wink

I think I can do that, give me some time. Not going to walk around in a bed sheet though!

You keep adding stuff about “the truth”

The only people who believe in your truth are you and your second clown account.

The rest:
A. Doesn’t agree with your truth
B. Doesn’t care about your truth

It’s all in your head

The perfect example of a heavily doctrined blind follower!

The truth? I don't agree so I don't care. Let me quote you here:

@Rich: Someone who tells the truth and acts like an asshole still acts like an asshole. You drag discussions into dirt by attacking the person and not the argument. You can't defend that by: "That's just my style" because that doesn't have any style.
I don't care if you go back to monologue style ranting about Rijk, that's still low-key to me but at least you wouldn't act like a frusrated child throwing tantrums.

It doesn't matter if I'm a troll or a dick.

Your auto-correct changed the word “and” to “or”.

Ok, you're right again!

I'm a dick and a troll that tells the truth  Grin

I'm also known to be a fart, a turd, a hobo, etc. Still, I tell the inconvenient truth.

In the closed Gulden ward, people are only allowed to tell positive lies. They get to be called hero's. I don't give a shit, I like the truth better.
139  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: [NLG] The great Gulden thread on: July 23, 2018, 04:32:49 PM
Biomike might have critics against Gulden, at least most of the time he uses valid arguments. Not everybody has the same views and opinions. It is good to exchange different views. You might learn something from eachother.

Biomike is unlucky that Dickman and Frusty (same dude) are trying to defend him here. He is doing perfectly fine by himself. I get the strategy Rich. When you defend him like that it seems that you guys are a team. But i am sure Biomikr would never defend the dick you are trying to be here.

I guess you're right. It doesn't matter if I'm a troll that tells the truth or a dick that tells the truth.

In the end, I still tell the (inconvenient) truth.
140  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: [NLG] The great Gulden thread on: July 23, 2018, 11:19:09 AM
Gulden witnessing is going fast. More than €1.7 million of funds have already been secured for a longer or shorter period by users who currently catch between 4% and 14% interest.

It’s almost magical to see the amount of Guldens grow in my account.
Could be very addictive to new investors too. And for those holding witness accounts, those Gulden can not be sold in a moment of panic anymore, thus probably contributing to a more stable price valuation.

Hopefully this all together steers Gulden a bit more upstream. Good chance we have seen the bottom now.
