Hi All, i recently got into gpu mining. Now that i have a good understanding of it, I'm thinking of only going with asics in the future. They're smaller, and work out of the box with less maintenance.
It seems if you're looking to make a big investment, asics are the way to go. Would you agree? Gpu mining seems more for beginners just getting into mining.
asics at this exact moment are better ... because they are simple and better roi ... but everything can change its crypto

hello
im new to the mining area hahaha , i came here asking for advice from the experts here
after some reading and checking local markets prices i made a choice with going with 2 rigs having the 1060s models
i have tested some of the cards and seem i was kinda lucky getting almost 70% of the them with a samsung memory
i want to know what is the best setups to put my rig on .... and should i mine with 65% most of the time to save my cards fan life and card life in general ?
1) A complete separate rig consisting of 1060s with Samsung memory. This will ease the process of finding the sweet spot for overclocking for a particular algorithm. Another rig for remaining cards. 2) Yes, you can use them at 65% fan speeds with no issue what-so-ever. If the GPUs are maintained properly from time to time, they should easily serve you for years to come. 3) The core overclock parameter for stable hashrate is in the range of "+0 to +150" for all 1060s devoid of their memory manufacturer while the memory overclock parameter for stable hashrate is different for different memory manufacturer. Samsung: +800 Micron: +450 Hynix: +150 (According to my testing on my GPUs, they can vary a bit) i read that its better not turn it on all the time ... like 3 days on then 1 day off .... or like 8 hours on then 2 hours off Assuming you have a stable setup with a proper cooling solution, there's really no need to turn it off that often, let alone leave it off for a full day. 20-25% downtime is no good. I only turn mine off every few months or when there's a noticeable buildup of dust. i found a sweet spot with good hash/watt at 60-55% power limit for the hyprid rig .. it have 5 1060 3gb hynix cards 1 1080ti and 2 1060 3gb samsung ... mining zerocash algorithm

Since I already reached payout on Nicehash and will be paid this Friday, decided to try your program. Funny thing, I don't see a withdraw button. Do you guys pay directly to the email I registered, i.e Paypal,Skrill or something else. I checked all the options and am not figuring out where is the withdrawal button ?
Oh nevermind, I saw it when clicked view online option. Good app, so what is the min withdrawal, if you guys make sure to make it lower than Nicehash, consider an army of conversions from Nicehash to your app, so that is my suggestion to you.
This is one reason I switched to winminer from NiceHash. You can min withdraw 20.00 to paypal, 10.00 to bitcoin, 10 to eth when ever you want. I've gone 2-3 weeks between payouts on NiceHash. It would give me a payout date and kept pushing it back. Good luck getting some support with NiceHash. If I have a problem, I can just post it here. The payouts have been as close to instant as you are going to get. An even bigger problem with NiceHash is earning in Bitcoin. If you mine for a week and bitcoin drops, you are losing your earnings. It has happened to me several times. Its a good thing to earn USD. I think as the word gets out on Winminer, they are going to grow and grow. the fact you can withdraw to paypal or eth ... is pretty good ...with the rising bitcoin fees

whats is the developers working on this days ?
|
|
|
someone is killing the Network each day and is instaminig during that Time, do the Devs do something about that? each day around 15:00 GMT+1 it is happening, guy in Slack is claiming that he is doining it.
Well this looks fun, is that a glitch in hash calculation or is that a GPU miner? That hashrate you'd need a pretty big botnet. 1.4 gh/s.. jesus. Guess let's hope he dumps the price and gives us a discount, or something. Last thing I would want is someone with that amount of Bismuth hoarding. i know that the development team already developed a gpu miner or done 80% .... and im sure alot of developers already made their own miner and selling it to private miners

what's so special with this coin beside new algo and fast to mine for the first few days?
It is about POW and POS distribution. POS is the future for cryptoworld imo. After block 100 000 we won't mine it with gpus. This is more green and environment friendly economic system. By making POW coin start, coin will be distributed to gpu miners for a period of time (Like giving reward to real geeks like us instead of ICO investors ). Also there won't be any asic machine because of POW will end. Nodes (wallets with coins inside) will handle coin's growth and there will be 5% annual interest for keeping coins in your wallet. Also coin is providing anonimity to your transaction which is plus for me. I'm hoping at some point there will be a baby of SIGT once we reach PoS. Some sort of a PoW-only "token" so that the SkunkRaptor can hash on. I'm pretty in love with how powerful it is, could easily be a new standard for PoW That would be another support for Signatum also. Anything is followed becomes a leader in its class Dev is open to suggestions on telegram , i talked to him about keeping the POW phase little longer

|
|
According to telegram , there should be a more revealing on what to come next when the coin gets added to cryptobia , also seem the specs might get changed depending on what the community wants

I've already spoken to trex, we've already submitted a request, but after talking to Richie over there, it seems there's a nice stack of people waiting to be listed. I paid for cryptopia listing already, .97 BTC is what that cost me. We'll see what happens with Trex, but for now I'm happy with cryptopia, we'll go for Trex after a few weeks go by. I will definitely be willing to help out with the listing on Trex, and I have direct communication with Richie and Bill there. Their basic listing is 3 BTC, so a bit higher than cryptopia... but we'll figure it out. Wow, that's some serious commitment. Do you know the dev of this project or may I ask what made you want to invest in this project? Seeing quite a few Legendary members excited I will take a closer look at Signatum. There hasn't been a fair and clean coin launched in months with no catch so it was necessary to have something like Signatum. Everybody deserves a fair share so that is why it exists Uhmm.. sorry but there's nothing Fair and clean about the launch, the difficulty and block time was artificially set to very low values for the first 1000 blocks and the first "normal" miners got in after block 1000... So your artificial instamine brought you about 3.5m coins already... there was no instamining i was there when the coin got announcement and i download the wallet and got blocks using my cpu yes blocks but it got announced at block 0 by the time i download the wallet and start mining i was able to get blocks starting from block 34 and so on , so yeah blocks was fast but EVERYONE could mine those fast blocks including me
