121  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: what do you think about pump and dump? on: September 07, 2017, 11:15:53 AM
Pump and dump are good chance to get money from this situation and it is needed for the traders because of it i could made income profit, i don't think that pump and dump is part of strategy scam coins but it is part of instrument investment, they are always fluctuating in the price, we just needs to follow the and taking the profit from dump and pump.

124  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How do you receive the token from an ICO Campaign? on: September 07, 2017, 04:22:56 AM
I'm sort of a newbie, but I'm looking into a few ICO, and I'm wondering how someone receives their tokens? Where do the tokens show up? There's obviously no wallet for such a new coin (unless I'm missing something on their website), so if I give them some of my ETH, how do the tokens get assigned to me personally? By the way im using adroid phone. Any android app supports ICO tokens?

This might be a dumb question but I have a very elementary grasp on blockchain tech. Thanks in advance.
The token will be sent to your ethereum's wallet from the developer team of ICOs projects, if you participate on their bounties program or maybe you make investing into the ICOs projects. Everything depend on the rules of developers team, when the ICOs token will be distributed. I suggest you use myetherwallet.com to participate on ICOs projects never use exchangers wallet, myetherwallet.com support for ICOs token and no need android application to receive the ICOs token.

126  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin Really A Currency or An Asset? on: September 06, 2017, 03:24:42 PM
Bitcoin has been touted as a crypto-currency, capable of replacing fiat currencies but the reality today is that most people prefer to hold bitcoins rather than spend it. Can we really say it si a currency when a large number of bitcoin users treat it as an asset?
Basically bitcoins be made for payment method on the internet (currency) but the bitcoins is not good for payment method because of the fees transaction especially for small amount of transaction, so bitcoins is more better considered as digital asset than currency and not all of peoples accept bitcoins for payment method just couples peoples who accept bitcoins for payment method.
127  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will other countries take advantage of China's ban on ICOs? on: September 06, 2017, 02:51:56 PM
Of course yes, the people on every countries will takes advantage of China's ban ICOs, in my experience i have bought some bitcoins and altcoins for long term because of the last deep down trend all of cryptos currencies were down trend, that was good time to purchase the coins with cheap price  Grin and we can see right now all of coins rise again.
128  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How this picture makes you feel ? on: September 06, 2017, 11:03:34 AM
really amazing see that price because the price now is 3x from january 2017 in just 8 month bitcoin price up to $4000+, i hope i have time machine and buy BTC as much as possible Grin
You don't need time machine because you just need do analisys fundamental to the altcoins that has potential the price will be 3 or 10× from now in the future, it is more make sense than search time machine, Cheesy there are many the altcoins that has chance to be more expensive than now and that is more cheap than buy bitcoins right now and with small money you can get large of profit in the altcoins.
129  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Best crypto to buy now? on: September 06, 2017, 10:12:09 AM
Hi - Newbie here..I would like to put down 1000 USD next week.. What would your advice be to me?
What's kinds of investing will be done? Long term investment or short term investment, if you want search short taking profit your funds are enough to be capital on trading altcoins on the markets but if you will put your funds in digital currency for long term buy bitcoins and hold for couples years will be better for you or you can invest in ICOs projects too.

131  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Any good news for bytecoin BCN ? on: September 01, 2017, 08:08:52 AM
Temples are reportedly happy to accept bytecoin donations because cash usually sits idle with them, and being not-for-profit organizations, they are prohibited by the government to invest the donated funds. Bytecoin carries a liberation, as even if the temples save it in their wallets, they will see the price rise as others trade the digital currency on exchanges. https://coinreport.net/temples-india-increasingly-accepting-bytecoin-donations/

133  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Whats ETH value based on on: September 01, 2017, 07:14:15 AM
I understand that there are certain amount of BTC ever to be in circulation. when more people want it (due to limited supply) as store of value or transacting currency, it creates demand and drives the up.

what i don't understand is , how is ETH value determined. Its not currency but a smart contract platform. So how and why there is value to ETH and what does it produce to gain value in future.
You are right ethereum is not currency but it is smart contract platform because of it, many people made ICOs projects on ethereum's platform and the investors must contribute in ethereum, that is the causes ethereum has value to be used for ICOs projects. The other reason ETH has value up to almost $400/ETH because of speculation from the traders on the exchangers to get fast profit with ethereum trading for short term, as we know ethereum has high fluctuating the price.
134  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why people buy etc ? on: September 01, 2017, 06:59:04 AM
This is what I do not understad. Ethereum is famous and valued, lots of coins are working to be etherum and offering new things. there is no reason to buy ethereum classic, it is just a romantic issue to buy
Here some reasons ethereum ETH will be failure and ETC will take over

1. CRYPTOCURRENCY ICOS ARE A RISK
Even though virtually every company or project looking to raise money wishes to conduct an Ethereum-based ICO, these crowdsales can have negative repercussions. A lot of these projects will eventually liquidate the amount of ETH raised and dump it all on the market. Not only will this affect the Ether price negatively, but it also shows Ethereum is merely a facilitator to raise funds, rather than technology in which these companies believe.
It is only a matter of time until the influx of cryptocurrency ICOs backfires on the Ethereum ecosystem. There is no guarantee that any of these projects have legitimate intentions, and any bad PR will automatically taint Ethereum’s reputation further. While it is true that Ether allows people from all over the world to invest in ICOs, there is never a guarantee for success.

2. EXPLOITS AND WEAKNESSES
Even though many companies have joined the Ethereum Enterprise Alliance, they are not necessarily aware of the issues this network has. We have seen two major exploits discovered and used, both of which resulted in massive amounts of funds being stolen. The first exploit was the DAO smart contract bug, and the second exploit showed how Ethereum has no secure multisignature wallet solution currently.  Immature technology often suffers from issues like these.

3. NO SUPPLY CAP

Contrary to what some people may assume, there is no official hard cap on the amount of ETH. While proof-of-work will be replaced by proof-of-stake in the future, Ethereum will continue to be inflationary as a result. Unlike Bitcoin, with its 21 million hard cap, Ethereum has no fixed maximum supply. This means the value of every individual ETH lowers every time a new coin is brought into circulation. In this regard, Ethereum is quite similar to fiat currencies, even though its level of inflation is significantly lower.

4. NOT AN IMMUTABLE BLOCKCHAIN

The main selling point of Ethereum is how it provides blockchain technology and new features to the entire world. One of the primary aspects of using a blockchain is that this ledger creates an undisputed record of events which can no longer be altered once the information has been accepted and confirmed by the rest of the network. That is no longer the case for Ethereum, and it is surprising how few people recognize this important detail.

Ethereum’s developers introduced a hard fork after the DAO was hacked. This hack put a large amount of the available ETH supply at risk of falling into the wrong hands. The hard fork also removed the immutability aspect of the Ethereum blockchain. This means that any application or project built on top of the Ethereum blockchain could see part of its history or transactions wiped out if a similar incident were to occur. People looking for the immutable Ethereum blockchain should look into Ethereum Classic, which was maintained as an ideological opposition to this blockchain rollback.
135  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is your take on deeponion on: September 01, 2017, 05:34:10 AM
TOR is a feature Bitcoin does not have. Deeponion has good community, airdrop trend
Deep Onion is a hybrid cryptocurrency that uses proof of stake (PoS) and the X13 proof of work (PoW) algorithm. It is natively integrated within the TOR network and ALL connections are made over the TOR network.

It increase the level of privacy for crypto users to reduce the likelihood of being hacked or attacked by other legal & illegal entities.
Security will be further enhanced by new DeepSend technologies, will to be announced and implemented soon.

Our Anonymity is guaranteed!
The DeepOnion dev team is composed of Industrial, Social Media, SEM experts and top level block-chain developers.
More advanced features will be added to the coin, and the dev team is committed to long term support.

The best part is that they DO NOT do ICOs or crowdfunding. 90% of the total coins are premined at the genesis block. The remaining 10% will be mineable by the public. Most premined coins will be freely airdropped to the community through 40 rounds of airdrops.
136  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How do I invest (safely) in Bitcoin for the long term? on: September 01, 2017, 05:13:44 AM
Any online wallet like coinbase is not a safe wallet for your information because it is prone for cyber attacks and it is better and safer to have a paper wallet rather than relying on that online wallet that will lead for possible regret in the future because most of the hackers targeted those online wallet which they can hack and get some money while paper wallet on the other hand is safer because it is an offline wallet and you are holding it physically.

OP here

Thanks. I will keep this in mind when I do my next buy.
One more from me, to invest in bitcoins for long term, you can make investment in bitcoins weekly, monthly from your income. This strategy will help you to increase your bitcoins, i adopt concept of saving in strategy investing in bitcoins, we can do it continuous every day, weeks or monthly although just a little amount of bitcoins, It will work if you are dicipline the bitcoins will be more rise in the future. Good luck
137  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: There are so many fud articles today on: September 01, 2017, 03:59:31 AM
Everywhere I see fud articles about bitcoin today.  I go to Facebook and there's an article on Investopedia and Vice have article calling bubbles.  I go to Yahoo to check my stock portfolio and theres a Motleyfool article spreading fud and then I go to youtube and Business Insider has a video saying Bitcoin is in a bubble.  I go into work and my boss tells me I need to sell my bitcoin because he read an article saying its in a really big bubble.

Is this fud being coordinated?  I'm not reading any of it but today it was impossible to avoid the clickbait titles.

I only a very small amount but i'm not changing a damn thing.
Well the people who made fud just depending on their opinions even they are being coordinated, it is still same opinions about bitcoins, and as comunity of bitcoins we are have own opinions, we have seen many fud couples years ago about bitcoins, bitcoins was bubbles, bitcoins was dies and other something bad about bitcoins, the fuct bitcoins is still survive.

139  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC Pumping 5000$ ? on: August 31, 2017, 09:20:28 AM
Hello all !
I'm new trade alt. I have a question here and I need your help.
BTC prices are rising strongly, we can invest at this time with co-BTC ? or you can tell me what altcoin should invest ?
Thanks All Trader  Cry

Depend on how long time you will invest in digital coins, if you want makes investing long time couples years later
buy bitcoins and hold them for long term is good choice, but if you are looking for daily, weekly or monthly profit from
fluctuating price of digital coins, invest in altcoins is best option, you can buy ethereum because it has high movement of price.
140  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin and governments on: August 31, 2017, 09:12:05 AM
Hi btkers , discussion about the relationship between governments and cryptocurrencies.
Why don't governments officialise the use of cryptocurrencies .
Can these cryptocurrencies affect countries economy?
Bitcoins is decentralized there are no countries or corporations become regulator of bitcoins
basically bitcoins doesn't needs countries, even some countries or government ban usage of bitcoins.
Bitcoins will be alive because bitcoins has large of comunity on around the countries in the world,
many miners, investors, developer of bitcoins around the world.
