I want to know if the bounty campaign is over or not? For the last 2 weeks of signature campaign there are 0 stakes applied on the spreadsheet, What would be the reason? If you're not serious about continuing this bounty campaign please let us participants know so that we could avoid wasting our time.
122  Economy / Services / Re: [OPEN] 🔥IOU Signature Campaign | Member - Hero | 0.0007 BTC /Post on: August 08, 2018, 02:52:14 PM
Do you accept people on probation? I don't have the required merits though.
Zapo
Don't you think your campaign prices are too low? Me, Sr.Member get for 10 posts a week only about $ 28 at current prices? Just $ 280 for a 10-week campaign? It's small..
Read please, There are maximum 30 paid posts per week.
123  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Being Used for Blackmail on: August 07, 2018, 09:30:22 PM
This is one of the actions that will bring down the good name of Bitcoin which is currently developing for the better in the future. Of course we must act decisively! So that all Bitcoin users will become safer in the future. And we must continue to be vigilant, and also be careful in safeguarding the Bitcoin we have today. Hopefully all these unfavorable extortion actions will be resolved soon.
Didn't you read what I said? People already use bitcoin for their criminal activities, It's safe and it would be very difficult to track down the transactions to catch them. This is already a part of bitcoin, Nothing like this could ever bring down the system.
Some stupid kid got his hands on some password from some easy to hack forums and now they're trying their luck, Someone would either pay which would be good for the stupid kid or they wouldn't pay.
Even this forum was hacked at some point and all the emails/password hashes were leaked, Forum admins are people too, They could just sell your email and passwords to someone interested in buying them.
124  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Being Used for Blackmail on: August 07, 2018, 09:03:18 PM
Were you j**king off behind your computer? Cheesy Because that's the only embarrassing moment one could have while watching porn, Shame on you for visiting such websites and shame on the stupid hacker for being such an idiot not knowing that you don't have any camera/messenger/Outlook. Ignore them, Change your passwords where you have used the same password on different forums and stop watching porn all together.

You should know that people use bitcoin for all sorts of things such as contract killing/Extortion etc, They also use fiat but bitcoin is easier to use. If you know that they have nothing on you then it's for the best just to ignore them and move on.
125  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ITO] WPP ENERGY - GREEN ENERGY TOKEN BACKED BY $BILLIONS IN PROJECTS on: August 07, 2018, 08:44:03 PM
hello developer ... what is your reason for locking in your spreadsheet Huh because I still haven't seen updates this weekend.
There are currently more than a thousand bounty hunters doing their hard work on promoting this project, One bounty manager can not simply do this job alone, I have joined this signature campaign because I trusted Lauda since they are the one posting the bounty thread even though they have said that they are not responsible for any misconduct of this project and their team.
126  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: IoTeX could take the place of IOTA as the only effective Blockchain for IoT on: August 07, 2018, 08:16:41 PM
I think Streamr DATA coin is much better than both IOTA and IoTeX. These guys have been working silently for years, they have a working platform that is proven to work and not just some vaporware. They are not very aggresive with marketing, though and going under the radar, I think.
I have heard the same story from other developers, They all claim that their sh*tcoin is better than others just like bitcoin cash shills believe that their sh*tcoin is better than bitcoin Cheesy How many sh*tcoins do we have with the same claims? If you can't mine a coin then it's better to not invest because they have the coins and sell them to you to get rich.
127  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ITO] WPP ENERGY - GREEN ENERGY TOKEN BACKED BY $BILLIONS IN PROJECTS on: August 07, 2018, 07:47:47 PM
Have you stopped the bounty program for this project? I can see that your bounty manager has locked the spreadsheet for most of the campaigns and stopped calculating the stakes, I have spent more than a month wearing your signature and avatar hoping that I could actually receive a share in this project. I wouldn't want to waste my time if you have second thoughts.
128  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Canaan Creative will launch a TV capable of mining Bitcoin on: August 04, 2018, 09:16:37 PM
What is this sh*tcoin at the bottom of your post? Cheesy They want you to mine bitcoin using their television and spend your mined coins to buy their content? That's just stupid, No one would buy a television which would consume a lot of electricity, They'd pay more than what they could mine. It's just not feasible to mine bitcoin with a TV. I have heard that people are manufacturing other home appliances to do the mining but I don't know if any of them could really be as efficient as the real bitcoin miners. One thing they're good at is to use them to heat your place but the noise they make will make your life like a living hell Cheesy
What can they offer to keep the TV cool enough during the mining process? You have posted this to advertise your coin, I don't like it.
129  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How to learn more about bitcoin and blockchain on: August 04, 2018, 08:45:12 PM
Can you guys share your experience and resources to learn about the technical part of bitcoin and blockchain?
Bitcoin.org and this forum, You might want to check other sections and ask your questions. Start with bitcoin.org.
If you are new to the crypto world this forum might be the right place to learn about crypto currencies. Maybe if you want to learn both of them, blogs or websites related to crypto it will help you.
Bitcoin.org is still the best website for newbies besides this forum.
130  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Smart Money Flooding Into Crypto on: August 04, 2018, 08:03:08 PM
Most people are probably skeptics about crypto markets. If you first heard about blockchain in 2017, and have followed the recent price action over the last year, then I don’t blame you for thinking “Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies are dead”. Acknowledging your reservations, I invite you to take a step back and think about perspective.

I bet you are eager to hear about how the institutions are flooding hand over fist into crypto technologies, but before we get there, a history lesson is due..

Blockchain technology was featured for the first time in “Bitcoin: A Peer-to-Peer Electronic Cash System”, published under the pseudonym Satoshi Nakamoto. This is why uneducated media refer to Bitcoin and blockchain technologies as if they are synonymous. They are not. Nonetheless, historically Bitcoin has dominated the crypto market cap, so we can use the rise and falls of that particular currency to demonstrate our point.

2013 Rally:

The first parabolic move occurred in 2013, when the price per Bitcoin went from  ~ $14 per Bitcoin to almost $198 over the course four months. Within days, the price of Bitcoin decreased by over 65%. At the time, main street media wasn’t talking about the crash, but I remember it vividly… I was on spring break from my boarding school in New England, and most the community using Bitcoin, including myself, thought the technology was dead.

2014 Rally:

Less than a year later, Bitcoin rallied from $61 per coin to $1,150… an amazing 18.85X return. This time, it took a little over a year for Bitcoin to crash from it’s high of $1,150 to a low of $177 per coin. A decrease of almost 85%…

Once again most people, including myself, thought Bitcoin was dead.

2017 Rally:

And most recently, Bitcoin recovered from the 2015 low of $177 and surged over $19,200. An insane parabolic move of 108X. That’s right. If you had $1,000 in Bitcoin in January 2015, you’d have $108,000 at the December 2016 peak. Now, as of July 2018, Bitcoin has retraced it’s previous highs by 70%.

Perspective:

So why am I reminding you of history before telling you how the smart money is positioning themselves for the next crypto boom?

A.) So you can see how similar the charts look each time people start pronouncing cryptocurrencies “dead”…

And B.) To give you perspective on the rapid rise and reset of the market. History is in the process of repeating itself.

The Next Possible Crypto Boom:

Regardless if you’re a Bitcoin bull, institutions alike are starting to buy crypto assets hand over fist.

For example, Goldman Sachs is launching their crypto trading desk towards the end of this summer, George Sorosand the Rockefellers have directed their family office to start buying, Bill Gates has partnered with crypto companies, and most importantly, public companies are dedicating both human and financial capital for blockchain technology at a rate never seen before.

Walmart is full speed ahead with implementing blockchain technologies. JP Morgan and IBM both agree that banks will soon deploy their own cryptocurrencies, Facebook is working on their blockchain technology… and the list goes on and on.

Recently, in a 33 page overview made by the European Parliament said that “Cryptocurrencies should not be banned or ignored”. Even the World Bank has been briefing their staff on the disruption of crypto assets. The U.S Commodity Futures Trading Commission even says, “these currencies are not going away and they will proliferate to every economy and every part of the plant.”

What does this mean?

It means that we need to start preparing ourselves for the next crypto boom. While the overall cryptocurrency market has retraced 2017 year highs, we need to have a plan for educating ourselves on the technology, learn how to trade it, and position ourselves to profit.

Is this your own writing?  Cheesy I also believe that we'll see another boom in crypto again, It's just the matter of time.
This has happened many times, Thanks to your post we can see that bitcoin will boom again without any doubts.
People should know this by now that every time the market goes down, it goes back up after some time. Hodl, Hodl, Hodl.
That's what I always tell people, If you want to have a future with cryptocurrencies you should buy bitcoin and hodl. Cheesy
The 2014 rally wasn't smart money. It was mostly that scammer Karpeles and Chinese exchanges went on to manipulate the price with fake volume for the most part of 2014.
I wouldn't want to see a similar fake rally ever again. Most people believe we'll go up in the coming months. Some that it will happen in 2018, some in 2019, some in 2020. This means that people are waiting with money. All they need is a spark that will start the fire.
I don't like to call people names such as calling them scammer, I do however agree that in some point there were some fake pumps coming from zero fee exchanges in China but bitcoin is now much more than anything else to be manipulated ever again like that. I could say that price going from $6,000 up to $7,000 is a good spark but people are waiting for $10,000 to start buying, They should remember that bitcoin reached $19,000 and it will go there again. Just a matter of time.

132  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin in Indonesia is not legal on: August 02, 2018, 03:10:17 PM
Having to buy bitcoin with your local currency is something, Having bitcoin trading banned completely is something entirely different. There is no issue if your country is only allowing you to trade bitcoin with rupiah.
133  Economy / Reputation / Re: Campaign Management Gone Wrong (Bitcasino.io) on: August 01, 2018, 01:50:05 PM
Definition of extortion: the practice of obtaining something through force or threats.
This is what you are doing to this campaign manager, You are trying to force him to let you stay in the campaign, I'm sure some DT members tag you for doing it this way.
134  Economy / Services / Re: 🔥⚡Hiring ICO Writers Blog Writers Article Writers 🚀[OPEN]🚀 [APPLY NOW] 🔥⚡ on: August 01, 2018, 01:10:04 PM
How much is the budget? Are you willing to escrow the funds? I'm interested to apply and from what I can see this work needs some serious readings before writing some article for the projects you are currently working with.
135  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What do you think about current bounties, airdrops and contests on: August 01, 2018, 12:42:13 PM
So, I was wondering if anyone has an opinion on current bounties and airdrop as an element to help projects. I have a thought that it does not help to attract real users or investors who would invest to a startups that want to raise money through token sale. But in case of existing projects that already work with crypto and have their own coin on exchanges is a different story. What do you think about using bounty or contest for a project that is working and have its coin on exchanges?
You don't need to do any airdrops if you have your coin listed on exchanges, Promotions such as airdrop/bounty is for the fundraising part of the project and once you list the coin on exchange you're good to go. Bounty promotion is good for ICO's to attract more investors and have more exposure.
I think the bounty thread is very helpful to the project team, but the air drop is not very helpful to the project team.
Most of the time, air drops only attract people to sell tokens, and even negative publicity for the team.
Yes, Most of the times doing useless airdrops is wrong since people can see if the token is a junk or not, Sometimes it is the best marketing strategy and it has worked well for a few projects before.
136  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: jeremypwr Betcasino.io and Sportsbet.io Extortion, campaign mismanagement & scam on: August 01, 2018, 12:23:08 PM
You are trolling, I consider what you are doing as trolling because they are not obligated to do anything other than enrolling people in their campaign, Count their posts and finally pay them. Did you receive your payment for your posts made last week or not? If you did then you are out as of now, The rest of the story is related to morality while you can't hold them accountable for going back on their words. Drop it and stop making things worse than this.
137  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: jeremypwr Betcasino.io and Sportsbet.io Extortion, campaign mismanagement & scam on: August 01, 2018, 10:56:39 AM
You are saying that you have decided not to let him/her into any of your campaigns? Why are you arguing then? You pay them for their posts and say you are out, There is nothing more to this.
I know you don't believe that. There's a lot more to it, as you can see. This campaign is heavily damaged now because of the words and actions of the manager who made a lot of mistakes and broke many rules.
I think you are missing the point here, You participated, posted and received the payment, Now you're out.
Whether the manager agreed to enroll you back or not, That's the manager's decision. You are not owed anything by anyone. One of the rules of every campaign is that the manager has the right to deny or accept anyone they want, You have been denied and they have already paid for your posts made last week.

140  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Is Blockchain mining network real or scam? on: August 01, 2018, 07:51:21 AM
Please is bitcoin mining network real?...i was asked to create new Blockchain wallet fund it and get it connected to antminerS9

It is real or scam?please dont mind my English
Who asked you this? It doesn't matter now because you have posted this last year and I'm sure that you have already got your answer, However no one would ask you to fund your wallet if you want to link your address to your miner, I'd suggest that you should consult with an expert on how to mine with ASIC miners.
