Has anyone had their October starter kits ship yet?

They still have a few days right?  September went out completely before October ... right?  Wait till Nov 15, then wonder why you haven't received it.

I replaced the 2 x 92mm fans on the heatsinks to  2 x 120mm Gentle Typhoon AP-15s. Runs naked on my desk with no sound at all @ 60C.

You mind posting a picture of this setup?   I am assuming that you are not utilizing the 120s from the ends.  How did they mount?

Disclaimer: I just got my hair dryers and am looking to replace the noisy fans.

Buy from Canary - https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=303640.0

At current coinbase.com rate of 125.99, a single USB is $8.82.  Canary ships same day (most of the time).

While I do not have the 4.5k to risk on anyones 2TH machines, I did order one 100GH. It won't rack in mass coins, but should do ok in terms of price per GH/s.

Should be well under $5 per port.  About mid October for release info.

Are the ports spaced out enough for other usb (BitFury) miners?

When are you getting some or do you have a no-compete clause (via reseller agreement)?

updated prices: .07 btc for USB miner and 2.75 btc for a blade
Care to explain why you are selling USB miners at wholesale cost? Inquiring minds would like to know. SSB

Liquidate prior to next diff jump?
132  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: The Chili – 30+GH/s BFL based Bitcoin Miner Assembly on: October 01, 2013, 05:24:43 AM
Good work!  I wish I had some funds to by up my chip credits, but by the time I get that together, cheaper options will probably be available.  I hope you are considering the same form-factor for other chips (BitFury?).
133  Other / CPU/GPU Bitcoin mining hardware / Re: I have $40,000 to invest on: September 06, 2013, 08:50:35 PM
Buy one singe usb erupter from Canary.  You can run it and look at the blinky-light.

Take the rest and buy BTC.

Reasoning: There are LOTS of big pockets funding "mining operations" and lots of players potentially bringing hardware in Q4 2013 and Q1 2014.
134  Bitcoin / Group buys / Re: ASICMiner Rumors on: July 28, 2013, 07:52:28 AM
He might of been implying that if you bought before the pricedrop you would of been entitled to the .1 discount voucher.
^ This.

Though I feel the Eruptors should be ~0.2-0.25/ea.

I put in a refund request today on the website, will update and let everyone know how that goes.  (Ordered 1 25gh/s kit + 7 h-boards for ~49 btc.)

Can I inquire why you would want a refund?

If that were the case you would have been using two factor authentication....  A fail is still a fail.

@Burnin

Do you envision having your own gross of chips where so you can simply sell a completed unit directly?

139  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: community asic project on: April 13, 2013, 01:08:59 AM
Yes, but at what price point?

While doing your design work, think about a scrypt-based miner too (yes, I know you need a bit of fast memory).

If this IS an April Fool's joke then I hope Luke dies painfully of cancer this year.

No, I'd want to get him a "Super Troll" plaque award he can take pictures with actual products.
