121  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How to Get Rich Quick - Bitcoin on: April 05, 2019, 05:14:33 AM
I became curious about the title of the thread now I think it is hitting the reality when I read it, bitcoin is, yes, not a get rich quick scheme. The high volatility of the cryptocurrency makes it difficult to say you can be an instant millionaire, there are steps of course to achieve that which will make you a millionaire. Try to HODL and disciplined to wait until the price hit your target to become a millionaire. Patience is one key.
122  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How big is the role of the government in the development of Bitcoin? on: April 05, 2019, 05:05:47 AM
Bitcoin has become bitcoin without government. Now that it has become popular, little by little it is being recognized in many parts of the world but many countries, altho they recognize bitcoin already, still refuse to accept to legalize it or not or if to regulate them is good for them or not. Governments are still confused if they are ready to embrace bitcoin to start cashless society because of the banking system involving in the government society.
123  Economy / Economics / Re: What triggered the sudden rise in bitcoin price? on: April 04, 2019, 11:26:32 AM
Just notice my bitcoin in my wallet have increase in value but I can't find any major news after doing some research that must have triggered that price rise then remembered I have an account on BCT-talk. I have not been following up with latest news as my work is eating up most of my time but I have some decent amount of bitcoin and don't want to be left in the dark. Anyone with an idea what triggered the sudden price spike.
Institutional investments have contributed to the rise of bitcoin and also I guess the news about the Russian government of a billion dollar investment in bitcoin is a plus to make the price go up.
124  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What about a Bitcoin government ? on: April 04, 2019, 11:20:20 AM
Hello guys
 Roll Eyes
I just wanted to discuss - *DO WE NEED BITCOIN GOVERNMENT?*

Let's just put it in a simple way Bitcoins is being harassed by the governments , the banks , the private sector , the bulls , the investors and it's just something that we cannot control.

What if we had a government for Bitcoins to support it , to legalize it like some normal currency , off course while keeping it's main points strong and not converting that into fiat.

What if it was accepted into the normal currency system?
I would like to say that I understand already that it's not just a currency , it's a store house of value , it's more than that, but integrating this currency 2.0,  Cheesy would not only increase it's stability but would also give the users rights.

And to do all this we need something like a Bitcoin government , which will support it ,legalize it , purse the lawsuits , give the users rights .

It will make Bitcoin something that every fiat worshipping government and off course banks and all , will more or so accept ( forcefully though) but let's face it ,it will be still better than the dictatorship in North Korea and no one says anything about it -_- why would this matter to them ? As long as we are not Harming others.

We just need a integrated environment because let's face it there are 111 out of 251 regions where Bitcoins is legal and to make it global everlasting integrated crypto currency , we do need all of these 251 regions to agree to this ( if not all then 90% the least )

If you need a bitcoin government it means bitcoin for the people and then it should be centralized to govern it and who is going to control it? I guess Bitcoin is created to make people enjoy the financial freedom without thinking of obligations from the controlling government and since many governments around the world see its potential they want to regulate it and regulating it means to govern it.
125  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Elon Musk is launching his first ICO! on: April 03, 2019, 09:01:59 AM
Hello, have you heard about this cool news? Elon Musk will launch his first ICO, the token name should be Project Musk Coin. PMC shouldn´t be backed by anything, only by ideas of its creator. Do you think that this coin will go to the Moon instead of to Mars?
It is only speculation unless it is hyped and back by media, it will probably have a chance to launch as many will expect it to go on. Let's see if this news continues to be hyped more. I guess it is only fake news or maybe just an intro to a bigger plan to create it. Let's wait.
126  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Buy more Dash? on: April 03, 2019, 08:53:06 AM
I don't have dash in my portfolio yet simply because there are still more useful coins in the market I am interested in. However, I already know that dash has a very good potential in the future enough to surpass other altcoins.
127  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Maximum Cardano / ADA potential on: April 02, 2019, 08:14:47 AM
Cardano is steadily growing in an upward movement. What do you think about how much is ADA's potential price in the next two years?
128  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Have you invested in an altcoin in 2018? on: April 02, 2019, 07:54:53 AM
I did invested in UTRUST
UTRUST looks to have a solid development team, as it has managed to quickly implementovertake paypal, but currently we have seen alternative projects. Hence, its success will only depend on the level of adoption it would experience in the global world.

Therefore,  in your opinion what has the future hold for UTRUST?
I have invested only in two altcoins last year and that was the in the $DGB and the other one is the xtrabytes, XBY. Last month, I bought some stellar and additional ethereum. I was tempted to buy eth because I believe it will be a huge profit in the long run.
129  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Bull market is back? on: April 02, 2019, 07:37:26 AM
Bitcoin pump to $4,919 and back down to $4,671 at the mean time.
Why is this pump happening? Bull market is back?

Price: $4,671
24h high / low: [$4,919.39 / $4,124.31]
Market Cap: $82,303,956,910
24h Volume: $17,479,334,170

https://www.coingecko.com/en/coins/bitcoin
I do not know if it is really bull now. Isn't it the bull in the bear market? I am thinking it is only a preparation for a bigger pump but no idea yet that the bull is here already. Just be thankful many people made gains in the pump.
130  Local / Pamilihan / Re: Alternative for BTC cash in and cash out [USD bank account] on: April 01, 2019, 06:32:48 AM
Makakatulong talaga itong post mo. Salamat
131  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: LTC: moon or doom? on: April 01, 2019, 05:33:12 AM
Quote
To moon or doom?
Why asking if moon or doom for LTC? It is as strong as bitcoin even if it is only an altcoin derived from bitcoin. LTC has a strong community also and the support is solid for this copycat of bitcoin. I am also believing that it will rise steadily if bitcoin rebound from being bearish to bully.
132  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: alt millionaire on the next bull run on: March 31, 2019, 11:30:17 AM
i hope to become an alt millionaire on the next bull run. if crypto adoption is here. then let their be alt millionaires. maybe i am thinking too soon. but maybe in 6 years out. it can truly be done. i have been trading. hopefully this is the true bottom and that the next road is moon shots. i been buying alt coins but not accumulating. which sucks because i have several alt coins that have 100% return in 2019.
I believe you can be one if you choose to HODL for long term. Don't try to be tempted to exchange your coins when you have already reached 200% of profit when it is in the bull run. Try to be patient until you reached the very satisfaction of the return of your investment to become a millionaire.
133  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ethereum will rise again. on: March 31, 2019, 11:14:18 AM
Etherum is having a very bad situation now. Nearly 50 percent reduction only occurs in a few weeks. Of course this is a very difficult thing for anyone who suffers from Etherum. This is a direct loss, but when we can think more openly, we must know that the price of Etherum is very likely to increase. The quality of Etherum has been recognized by everyone and therefore Etherum has gained a very good level of public trust.
So it's not impossible that the price of Etherum will increase again.

By the end of this year, I guess ethereum is already up at around $800 to $1200 and all other altcoins too. Public trust in ethereum is still solid despite some have already denounced their support of ethereum. Now it is rebounding, they are back again praising it. Oh my, they left when ethereum is down and up when ethereum is back. Tsk tsk!
134  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Holding shitcoins will not make u rich on: March 30, 2019, 11:29:18 AM
I think that now a very large number of stablecoins is being created. This will lead to the pumping of coins from the TOP 50, and their further sale at an inflated price.

What do stable coins have to do with pumping coins in the top 50? I don't see the corolation.

Yes, I don't see any correlation either. Stablecoins are not yet created before when there were coins in the top 50 already. So this has really no issues or link to prove it has something to do with the pumping or dumping of coins.
135  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What sites do you use to make your investment decisions? on: March 30, 2019, 11:04:41 AM
I don’t invest in icos
I invest into bounties! Yes it consumes time and effort which can be huge
But it doesn’t cause me pain or despair

Do your own research always
ICO nowadays cannot be trusted. So investing in bounties are also a pain because you will not get what is due for your effort because if they do not meet the target cap, most of them turned out to be scammed.
136  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What do you think should I buy for 1 year? on: March 30, 2019, 10:47:29 AM
After 3 months I will be in the army for a whole year. And I came to the conclusion that I need to buy something for $1000. This is not an important amount for me, but at the same time, I want to come home and with probability to raise this amount. I want to hear the opinion of experienced people, it will also be interesting to look at this topic in a year. Who advised what)

There is no security that your money in 1 year will grow or with the possibility of earning by investing in cryptocurrency. With the current market condition, we are not one hundred percent sure it will double unless we see a reversal from bear to bull which is highly unlikely this year as many experts predicted only movements but not sharp. But if we get lucky to have an early bull return, then you will get your $1000 double or even more than it in one year. If you are still eager you can risk it, I recommend get Cardano.
137  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin now used to send messages to space on: March 29, 2019, 07:20:33 AM
While the platform is currently being tested for fun, its future uses could include transmitting messages worldwide without the risk of censorship.

Full article here: https://www.unblock.news/news/bitcoin-now-used-to-send-messages-to-space
Whoaw! Really? Who will receive the messages and what's the use of sending it? No one will pay attention to your messages across the universe. Astronauts will not directly receive it. Well, if your intention is just to release the tensions in you because you lose 95% of what you trade in the market it's understandable. You need space. lol.
138  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Revival is On The Way - According to a trader on: March 29, 2019, 06:57:51 AM
CNBC's Seema Mody interviewed Futures Now traders, Jim Iuorio and Scott Nations last night.

Jim called the $4,000-level of bitcoin value as the PSYCHOLOGICAL LEVEL. Scott also said that he's not into this change in bitcoin value because he doesn't see the fundamentals that would drive it to a new level. Jim also added that people once tried to use gold as substitute to fiat, but they didn't like it anymore, so people searched for another substitute and that's BITCOIN.

I agree with them. Other than fiat, bitcoin is the second most popular mode of payment now esp. in the cyber era where almost everything runs through computers. Bitcoin's value might just need more time to recover esp. with these governments' new rules regarding the use of bitcoin as payment.

Your thoughts, guys? Do you think bitcoin will be soaring high again in the near future?

Bitcoin is a good way to send money anywhere / everywhere in the world at an instant that's why many are attracted to how the bitcoin is used in sending and receiving money aside of buying and selling online to those who accept cryptocurrency. Whatever the market condition is, the journey of bitcoin is still early to tell and people accept the fact that it will stay long because of its usefulness and revival is not a question but how it will rebound sooner.
139  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will 2019 be the year of Altcoins ? on: March 28, 2019, 12:11:32 PM
Do you think that 2019 will be a good year for Altcoins ? and if yes which of them will performance the most ?
I don't still believe that there will be or there is a year good for altcoins. Altcoins are dependent on the movement of the bitcoin so if bitcoin moves upward, it is favorable for altcoins and if bitcoin is in bear mode, altcoins suffer too the way bitcoin is.
140  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading without losses? on: March 28, 2019, 12:06:42 PM
There seems to be no trading without losses. I simply do not buy it. Even the most expert traders suffer losses when trading their favorite coins. However, they manage to cut their losses and that is one strategy that their losses are not as much compared to newbies and some investors alike. So if you want to engage in trading be sure that you have at least some knowledge in the market and cryptocurrency trading. It is not as easy as what you think about buying and selling.
