Hi, Nemo using your integrated miner for a while, thanks a lot. Any plan to replace EWBF 0.33b by 0.34b, I believe it's slightly faster. ![Grin](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/grin.gif) I read on SPccminer thread that the newest version has hard-coded dev fee. But I also read much bullshit on that thread, so do not take this for granted.

|
|
When are the dev fees getting calculated? Never saw the message so far...
Temp: GPU0: 64C GPU1: 64C GPU2: 64C GPU3: 63C GPU0: 387 Sol/s GPU1: 374 Sol/s GPU2: 384 Sol/s GPU3: 380 Sol/s Total speed: 1525 Sol/s +-----+-------------+--------------+ | GPU | Power usage | Efficiency | +-----+-------------+--------------+ | 0 | 92W | 4.21 Sol/W | | 1 | 92W | 4.07 Sol/W | | 2 | 92W | 4.17 Sol/W | | 3 | 92W | 4.13 Sol/W | +-----+-------------+--------------+
Thats a mystery to me also. I read recently that -fee option no longer works in latest version. FUD or truth? I have no problem with fee, I have problem with no transparency on this issue.

Disable motherboard LEDS in bios, they are causing it. Ok, just kidding. Did jou set pcie gen to gen 2/1? Disable audio? Enabled 4G encoding? Try 378 drivers? Faulty riser?
|
|
|
I could assume it is the riser. I come from a different batch and whenever I put him with the other it is not recognized
Does not have to be riser itself, but usb cable. Replace cable with the one on working riser to make sure. Then just buy cheapest usb3 cable ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif)

You do not want to auto switch . This is not the time for me to explain why as I need a lot of time to show the down sides of it.
Are you referring to Nemos re:auto switch? Please elaborate on downsides when you find time/inspiration. I thing auto-switching scenario on zpool works in general, the issues with graph sometimes not showing balances are not really issues at all because pool does record your hashes under "Balance" heading. But the big question remains: is it more profitable than mining single coin? And regarding profitability: MPH charges 0.9% fee vs 3%(?) on nicehash.

I just started mining altcoins, and I've been using yiimp as my site for mining pools. I noticed that on their list of pools, they have a pool mining Hush and Komodo at the same time. How would I write the .bat file for mining both coins? Do I input both wallets after -u? Just a little stumped. http://yiimp.ccminer.org/site/mining (the equihash algo) Use two .bat files? Each for half of your cards. If you have more than one, that is.

Hey Miners,
Is anyone running a headless mining rig on Ubuntu with GTX 1080? I cannot get to overclock the card due to: ERROR: The control display is undefined; please run `nvidia-settings --help` for usage information.
I have ready every single related page on Google along with the relevant pages on the forum. I'm looking for someone with a similar or the same configuration who might be able to provide a guide on how to configure a single mining rig.
In addition, I need to know what's the best Ubuntu version and the Nvidia driver version for mining altcoins in general.
Once I collect the necessary information, I will be happy to share the tutorial with the community myself in a blog post.
First of all, you need GUI for nvidia-settings to work. Second you need to install 378 drivers from graphics-drivers PPA. Then run sudo nvidia-xconfig -a --cool-bits=28 --allow-empty-initial-configuration, that will allow headless and overclock.

This is true you can still mine ETH during this slow roll out to POS, or you could mine ETC or Zcash..
Slow rollout it will be indeed. Lots of hot air will be wasted. Lots of missed deadlines will be made. Vitalik will go bald sooner than ETH switches to POS.

|
|
Of course it does. So it does on hundreds of rigs. The amount of FUD regarding sata risers is too much.

CARDS ARE OC MODEL I MONITOR FREQUENCY THEY RUNNING AROUND 1900-1975MHZ THE MEM OC IS MORE FOR EWBF.. BEEN A GOOD DAY ON EQUIHASH 2DAY...
Understood. But I really think that lyra2z should be completely removed from Nemo and zpool alltogether.

2.yes for my 1060 and 1070 i use the same oc +55mhz core +596mhz mem 1070 are set to 70tdp (125watt) 1060 are @80%tdp (89watt) ...
How come you are using such low core OC on 1060. I use 150 plus 80% PL. And how come you are overclocking memory? My understanding is that ccminer algos are not memory-intensive, so some people even lower memory clocks when using it.

testing atm will be uploaded 2moro sorry for delay
No need to feel sorry. Feel proud. You are one of the heroes of cryptomining world, after all.

I don't know, I think something odd is going on. I don't how my graph can look so upward and straight for 10 hours and then when a payment goes out it is flat.
There is nothing odd going on. Zpool has been having those issues with payments graph for WEEKS. ATM my payments graph has been totally flat for almost whole day. It looks like in need of Viagra. http://zpool.ca/?address=1PjoqGuqbvB6GVjv8bZmSMxSDRF3nzRmJaCome on crackfoo, fix this already, this issue has been the bane of many a noob mining on zpool for too long.

Has anyone been able to overclock a GTX 1060 under linux? My 1060 are staying in P2 all the time, and I cannot set the clocks (nvidia-smi says it's not supported). Also, I'm not able to query the available clocks. My other Nvidia cards work without problems. So, is there anyone who was able to overclock a 1060 under linux (server)?
The problem is nvidia-settings needs GUI and the only way to overclock Pascal is via nvidia-settings. Nvidia-smi works only for setting power limits on Pascal. P2 is no issue.

Hmm, when i was asking about this on another post on when my earnings didnt make sense, multiple people posted to the wiki showing all the ccminers had dev fees...
Link, please.

hi guys!
I have a 7 gpu GTX 1070 rig (Gaming X from MSI with Micron memories) . Having some issues when trying to OC these . (I have a few rigs on AMD cards and this is first on NVidia) OS - Win 10 Anniversary and driver 369.09 Default I get - 25.6 mh in Claymore and 25.8 in Genoil miner
Problems in Claymore : if I start miner in default card speeds and OC while it runs I can get it at 30-31mh/card and it runs without issues but in case of a restart it crashes with these settings ( +600mem ) . It only starts at around +325 oc for memory ... I haven't touched anything else
Problems in Genoil : it takes age for the miner to start . If I plung in only one card .. it works very fast . At 4 cards it takes 10 minutes to start hasing and with 7 god knows how long .
No idea about linux .
Any suggestions ?
Better to use NVidia Inspector for tweaks ?
How come you are using such an old driver version?
