122  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin, Speculations and FOMO on: December 04, 2019, 07:29:01 PM

The exciting and wild big bull run in 2017 was attributed by many to the heavy speculations and when bitcoin waned the market panic which partly resulted into the bitcoin winter that affected us in 2018. Now, in 2019, bitcoin started to show its bullish side and this time around it is attributed to FOMO (fear of missing out).

When bitcoin can go beyond the $10,000 psychological barrier, what do you think they will attach it to?  I guess the honor will go to aliens (just kidding). Seriously speaking, what can be wrong with these scenarios?
It was one hell of a Bullrun back in 2017, the initial peak high was around $20,000 per Bitcoin and it took altcoins all the way to the moon with it. It was almost too good to be true.
Then came the death spiral that lead to a massive panic all around as fear and uncertainty loomed. The bubble popped and the price deflated rapidly.

Everyone was hopeful that time, everyone was happy as they can see that their future was bright and that their wishes can come true, very few did cash out and took the profit, most of the people got hype and thinking it will still go to $50k so instead of cashing out, they added their investment and at the year 2018 everyone was disappointed and lost a lot.

This year, there was a good price of $14,000, and those who were very nervous got the opportunity to sell what they bought in 2017, but I'm sure most of them stayed on.
I managed to get into the 4K - 5K range, so I'm not very worried Smiley
123  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Bounties (Altcoins) / Re: P2PB2B Signature Campaign. Weekly Rewards in ETH 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥 on: December 04, 2019, 07:20:27 PM
Guys, come on. What we should do next? Here is all answers on "alerts" https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5205331.msg53204675#msg53204675

You showed the will to improve your image and it is a great move.
In my opinion, you should start a campaign and solve problems in the meantime.
Confirm the escrow first and open a thread with a new campaign.
Good luck!
That's true Yobit has issues but they managed to go with the campaign and so does Livecoin, but they never open a thread for resolving the issues, while you manage to create one here.

You are right, the guys with P2PB2B did the right thing.
Personally, I think the P2PB2B Bounty Manager is worth trusting.

Given the information about bitcoins, mined and lost + coins that are on the whale's purses (which are motionless + 1 million Satoshi Nakamoto)
very few coins are widely used by BTC fans

I like your conversation, both of you behave with dignity towards each other.

I hope that very soon we will be able to participate and make some money.
and the guy who posted the branch, spare him, he just fell victim to circumstances. Smiley

A lot of interesting opinions of users who really say that many people are satisfied with the work of the exchanger (statistics will show this)  I will not argue, perhaps at the stage of developing the exchanger there were precedents and incomprehensible situations ... (we are all not perfect)

I just can’t understand one thing: why are you not giving the exchanger the opportunity to prove its “correction”? why not give a week of time (as the manager said above)? In the end, they promise the first payment very soon - this day will serve as the solution to all the evidence on both sides.

my vision of this situation, thanks

there is nothing wrong if you want to try, but my advice is to see the long discussion first so that this campaign can be trusted.
reputation is still a lot of doubts
and if you see payments using ethereum whether allowed in campaigns like this

They say that they will pay once a week.

I think we will see very soon how honest they are.

I think take part too

Need a php script that uses listunspent and createrawtransaction, sendrawtransaction rpc calls to create a transaction and send it.

It should take as much unspent TXs needed to create a transaction above a given variable bitcoin amount.
Without any change.

Anyone who got experience with php and bitcoin RPC API who wants to do this?
PM me!

Paying $150

Hello,
I have good experience and practice..
PM please.

So, in short term, betting on small odds is better. Because it causes you to play for a longer time (especially when you have not a big bankroll)
In long term, there is no difference. (Those gamblers who play for long term usually have big bankrolls and can afford to lose even more than 20 times in a row)

you said short term ?  short terms means you play for a short period of time so your supposed to bet on higher odds so that you can win or loss quickly but betting in smaller odds is indeed good for smaller bankrolls  so that you can minimize your chance of loosing but itll make you also play longer  . loosing 20 times in a row can be acceptable or not depending on your bets  .  i can play longer but i dont have a big bankroll , its only a matter of bankroll management .

This is somehow right but most people tend to play longer but of course with smaller bankroll. But if you have bigger amount and do not want to play longer you can use higher multiplier so any win or any profit will let you stop at the moment. But still most people can't tolerate to get profit. Most of them will be greedy enough to continue and losing their balance in the end. Btw if you do not have big bankroll you can adjust the amount that you want to bet so it will stay longer

Agreed with you.
But can catch lady luck also can 20 times wins in row. I have lot of experience in gambling. This is luck only.
I will try wolf.bet soon

135  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: DID I MAKE A MISTAKE INVESTING IN BITCOIN? on: October 08, 2019, 03:16:00 AM
Bitcoin is not a get rich quick scheme. It’s still a very young, raw asset. Most of us OG’s have made huge profits but it wasn’t quick. With extreme patience & the power of HODLING comes big rewards.

If you bought today for example & HODL for 18 months it could be the best thing you ever do.

Just don’t expect to buy today & get rich overnight, it doesn’t happen. People with zero patience who’ve read about getting rich quick with bitcoin shouldn’t bother if they haven’t got the balls to HODL through tough times. Nothing good in life ever comes easily.

Absolutely right.
Better hold BTC 2-4 years.
This is good choice of all coins.

Multi-currency wallets are similar only at first glance. But some use the protocols of those coins that are able to store, and others have their own protocol allows you to operate different coins.

And what protocol does CoinsPaid service use for its multi-wallets?

What you mean? Protocol? This is blockchain technology.. Please read how works wallets Wink
