121  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Did gambling affected your personal reputation? on: February 27, 2020, 02:52:04 PM
Ohh my God, I completely forgot about this thread and it got bumped recently and discussion gets going. Smiley

Most people say that they didn't have any effect on their reputation due to gambling but most likely because they never have shown this to the public so then only they can realize when someone gets to know about their habit.

Thinking about locking this thread? Or need more discussion? Roll Eyes
Some people say that it really doesn't have any effect on their image because they are not exposing it into the public, but once they have brrn exposed it into the public or someone that they know see thst they are gambling or playing and the news become trend with the other people then that's the time that it will be have a negative image on you it is just a matter of fact that the people doesn't know that the person is playing or gambling so that their image are still remain but us like what i have been said when they expose it to the many people does the time but his or her own image will become negative.
122  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can writing how hard you worked for earning money restrict you from gambling? on: February 27, 2020, 01:44:56 PM
Well, it depends on how easy money comes and goes. On one hand, you earn the money(in this case $20) in hard ways and it is kinda understandable gambling this amount on the unknown outcomes instead of spending. Find the gold balance and never afford the whole amount you got from the work. Better spend the half and gamble with he left amount for the sake of psychology.
It would also be better if you will proper manage your money that you have been get on the work as a fruit of your salary by just divide it into your personal needs and wants and the money that will left will be able to spent on gambling so that you are also enjoying your own money buy making and spending it on the thing you really want to do.
Just like what you have been said, on the psychology matter it is always the thing you need to do in order for you to be complete just like what the rich do because they have a lot of money they have been able to do things that normal people cant do.
123  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is bitcoin a failed experiment? on: February 27, 2020, 01:16:28 PM

124  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why do people compare betting and investing in bitcoin (in terms of risk)? on: February 27, 2020, 06:08:48 AM
Your siblings must read stories about some investors who bought Bitcoin in 2017 at ATH thinking the price would reach 50K but are disappointed after the massive dump that follows the ATH thus a lot of them lose their investment therefore resorted to blackmailing Bitcoin and attributing it to betting and gambling of course which is not true.
It is really sad to say that those people buys bitcoin when it is at ATH is really gain so much losses and it is kind og big losses because when the year of 2018 comes the bitcoin suddenly dump and that would be really one of the bad happenings that comes to them and also to the market. This probably says that investing and gambling or betting is just almost the same because on investing you don't know when the price will pump or dump so it is just like in gambling in which you are not sure if you will win or lose or the money will come back again to you.
125  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you keep a spreadsheet for you wins and losses for tax purposes? on: February 26, 2020, 03:35:37 PM
No I am not.

Our country remains neutral when it comes to cryptocurrency. I also don't know if they know that there is this kind of activity on it. For now, keeping my losses in a spreadsheet is not needed due to this reason.

Maybe one day if the government will implement the law regarding the addition of tax for the income of crypto gambling, I might do it.
Me too i will not keep my spreadsheet on my winnings and losses for tax purposes because as of now and my country gambling with a involved of cryptocurrency is not prohibited under you are just remain neutral about it actually my country doesn't have any tax payment about gambling or they are not implementing on taxes on the money that we have winning on the cryptocurrency gambling but just like as you if our country will implement some law about paying taxes on the amount of winning of a gambler then probably i will keep my spreadsheet of winning and losing.
126  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: TELLING THE TRUTH ABOUT BITCOIN on: February 26, 2020, 03:14:45 PM
I am really happy you took time to educate that guy. You did a good job bud. He being a teacher has the will to get educated himself from someone else.
Just imagine this, you educated him so much that he himself started learning more and more about crypto and became a successful investor.
He then being a teacher, educated more people like himself and all of them started investing in crypto.
And the chain continued. This is how we must encourage others to learn more and more about crypto.
introducing and educating person about cryptocurrency is very hard but it also depends on the person who are educating with because if the person doesn't have any care and the speaker is not work to speak or hear about introduction on cryptocurrency then probably it would be hard for them to understand each other.
Sometimes it just depends on the speaker and the listener for them to build a brand on how they will understand each other. But encouraging people with our faith and will brought them to be a investor and etc.

129  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin and the Black Americans on: February 25, 2020, 12:55:40 PM
It saddened me when I first saw this article online before seeing it here. Racist should back off from using Bitcoin to get their hate to another, Bitcoin is for everybody and not just for some group of colored humans. Bitcoin doesn't select who owns it, either white or black. China have been having good time with Bitcoin because of ASIC, are they black in color? Let's not let in racism into this technology, it's for everyone.
Yes racist should really back from using bitcoin because it's doesn't matter if you are black or white there's no problem on holding bitcoin if you are white or black people in cryptocurrency we do not tolerate those kinds of racism because all of the people here is equal the promote equality bitcoin and cryptocurrency wants equality rest assured that no matter what happens black and white people can use cryptocurrency all the time as long as they know what to do about it. Let's stop on being racist let's just introduced bitcoin cryptocurrency all over the world no matter what color or the race of the people you will introduce.
130  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: A game that educates people about Bitcoin on: February 25, 2020, 12:26:00 PM
Great idea! A mini-game is ideal for an objective between 18 years and over. Because there are certain warnings about the use of Bitcoin that are clearly understandable.
It can be fun if users have challenges and missions where they can earn rewards and points. Also, with the points earned they can become satoshi, it would be an advantage.
It would be hard to associate game to bitcoin or cryptocurrency specially when you are playing an online game and the reward is a cryptocurrency which is satoshi or any coin i think the developer of the game will be having a hard time f that would be the concept of the game playing the game winning the game and earn free satoshi a after the game maybe that would be a hard part for the developer.
I think the main concept will be just the game will be having a connection to cryptocurrency and bitcoin and which they will how to promote or introduce bitcoin is.
131  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The Simpsons talks about Cryptocurrency on: February 25, 2020, 09:27:59 AM
It's really awesome to watch some the Simpsons predictions that happened in reality years after some scenes have been aired. And I didn't even think that crypto could also be one of their "predictions". We cannot say it's a complete prediction but that picture or crypto barn that was aired in 1997, that's awesome. They've already given a hint. Even that block in a chain.
Totally great that the Simpsons are getting talked about cryptocurrency and what would be happen on the cryptocurrency after a years or what. Predictions of the Simpsons are definitely a good factor introduce an adaptive the currency all over the world we all know that the simpsons are getting famous all over the world especially those tv shows that aired in different channels and every country. Prediction of them will be having a good factor to the market especially to the people who are getting questionable about cryptocurrency.
132  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is getting more adopted in my Country on: February 24, 2020, 09:15:08 AM
In my country, the government is showing no interest for cryptocurrencies which makes the people feel like bitcoins are just a bubble and not actually a source for investment. There were some random news on some official new channels asking people to stay away from investing into digital assets like bitcoins or anything like this. This might always be demotivating several people who would like to start their career with bitcoins but the country does not support them.
Individually, I have tried to educate most of my friends and family members about bitcoins and some have started getting deeper into the field but yet there are some who would only follow what the government says and would stay away from investing into such assets.
It is true that until now there are still so many country who are not adopting cryptocurrency or bitcoin and their citizens wants to adopt it but their country doesn't like. It would be pretty hard to adopt something that you doesn't have any support from someone.
Let's be honest to everyone that cryptocurrency is really a risk to invest on, but how about those people that wants to risk their money in order to gain more than enough money that they can have? This pretty disgusting if your own country doesn't want that. Lets educate other people in our own way on how we will be adopted bitcoin in our lives and hearts.
133  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Do you use a trading Bot? on: February 23, 2020, 06:20:25 AM
Do you use a trading bot and what's your favorite trading bot?

Also what type of strategies you use with the bot? And it is profitable for you?
I am not using trading bots whenever I am trading because I believe that human force can be more efficient than the trading bots or Artificial intelligence. This bots are just designed to help the people in so many terns not to just let the bots cover all the work that you need to, so I prefer to trade by myself and not using trading bots although it is kind of hard to trade by myself I assured that it is my decision to trade unlike on the trading bots that on what you have been program on the bots that will be just the one they will do.
134  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto whales hacked, lost $15M BTC and $30M BCH on: February 23, 2020, 05:51:04 AM
These hacks, now and then, are a major reason the crypto business is still scary. One would think one already had the cryptos secured in a wallet (even with private keys) only to discover upon login that one had been hacked. Nevertheless, if I were the victim of that hack I wouldn't be putting all my BTC in a single wallet. I would split that into (at least) 10 different wallets.
We can't avoid those kind of hacking of bitcoin by the other people but we can be able to lessen this kinds of incidents by splitting our bitcoin and other cryptocurrency in different wallet in order to be more secured and never give the private keys of each wallet so that you are aware that you are the only one who has the access to your wallet and also if you are a crypto whale and which you are holding so much bitcoin and bitcoin cash then probably you must be able to know what to do to avoid or lessen just kind of incidence.
135  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How to Increase Bitcoin adoption on: February 23, 2020, 05:22:39 AM
The idea was good on making a system of a point of sale system that can be used by the people to buy and sell products and the twist is bacon choose our make a payment through cryptocurrency by scanning the qr code of bitcoin and ethereum, this idea is kind of interesting because you can really increase the bitcoin adoption to the people in which the people who will be able to buy some products on your store will be curious about what is this qr code about bitcoin and ethereum to be paid off. But the thing is you will be generate an account for your store and make a qr code on it so that the payments of the customers will be direct to the balance of the customers.

137  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is gambling a threat or fun? on: February 22, 2020, 03:00:48 PM
This question is always on my mind since then until now. I want to know the opinion of everyone here on this platform. I know that we have all different perception about gambling, so I respect what will be your point of view about that.

But to share my opinion, I consider gambling as a threat to gamblers. Yes, there are a lot of people who find happiness in gambling if and only if they can control their selves from this, but no matter how fun can gambling gives to you, the problem is still there, the addiction on it is always there, it grows day by day. There are so many disadvantages of being so addicted in gambling, one of which is forgetting your priority, spending your time to your family and your friend, you won't be able to more productive things than losing money, to the point that even you already lose and don't have enough money to play, you will make ways, there are times that you will ask a request to your friend to give you money as debt. You should be the one who controls the gamble and don't let the gamble control you.
Gambling is meant for fun and enjoyment, it becomes threat when it becomes obsession. Gambling is never a threat for gamblers it is way for a gambler to relax and enjoy his day. Addiction is everywhere, you cannot associate it only with gambling. Yes, people get destroyed because of addiction, it is self control and discipline that can help you to stop becoming an addict.
Gambling is really meant for fun and to earn money or else to gamble your money, but the thing is do you have been able to controlled it? Gambling was made for those people who want to spent sometime to relax and have fun or to entertain theirselves but lately it becomes addiction in which almost all of the people who are just seeking it as a fun on the first time they eventually sees it as a addiction and that's why ut becomes a threat for them. It is really hard to controlled it but you need to, for your safety measures also.
138  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Assess your gambling addiction level. on: February 22, 2020, 02:26:47 PM
Im in the beginner's level only and Im happy to say that Im very addcited gambling before but I minimize it and recover to stop being addicted. Actually there is no level in gambling addiction as long as you know your limitation you can still playing.

I hope the addcition level of many players is not worst but we know too that many of the players are the addiction level ia very high and spending more time and more money in the gambling.
It is good that you have been able to control your gambling addiction because this is one of the very hard thing to lose about. There are so many players out there who are losing the control on gambling and maybe because they are already addicted on it.
In my case I have been able to manage my gambling addiction at the right time because before I became so much addicted on it I was able to stop and stabilize it because I realized that gambling may eventually be a problem to me once I have been so much addicted on it. I am glad that I didn't go at the point where I need to sustain my gambling addiction and took money from a bad activity.
139  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Decent signature campaigns? on: February 22, 2020, 01:42:58 PM
those who pay in bitcoin pay little but is a sure gain, those in altcoin are a bet no one knows their real value at the end of the ico, when there is certainly a dump of the value on the markets compared to the sale value of the tokens during the project/ico...
That's right! Those signatures right now that are offering a bitcoin as a payment method are the ones who are legit nowadays than betting or risking on participating on a signature that doesn't have any assurance of the value of the tokens or the altcoin that they will give as a payment after the ICO or the project. It is a merely good that just go on a sure earning than a risky earning because of the assurance that your work will be able to pay right away so it is better than no assurance if you will be paid or not.
140  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Sending Bitcoin through SMS/Text Messaging? on: February 22, 2020, 01:18:19 PM
if im not mistaken i  think i already seen simillar like this before . it was a local payment solution where you can send and recieve money and yes you can do them via sms/text message .  it was a centralized kind too  but it does not matter at all and people dont care that time if they will be using centralized and decentralized system but what important the most is the convinience . in the case of bitcoin and in crypto i do think its possible also where they will only use a third party to process the transaction online
I think it is really possible in which you can send bitcoin through sms and there would be just a code that will send to your email or mobile number in where your wallet was connected and the code will be sent as a one time password and has a timer in which if it doesn't use, the code will eventually not available just like what is happening on the mobile banking in which you just need a confirmation from the user to process the request of sending money or in the case of it sending money through sms.
