While a lot of those "innercircle" members are desperately begging for some marketing so their investment at least gets back to an acceptable level of loss-taking, he refuses to even approve well planned campaigns, let alone fund them with the cash they themselves provided!

This is the sick part. The decision-making of a naive, diseased mind.

Hello ,
I was a gulden enthousiast...

Your experience is not unique. I sometimes ask myself what the hell is going on in Rijk Plasman's head. Maybe he met a bad accident at a young age.
123  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is Gulden a good investment? on: November 18, 2017, 09:06:01 PM
The Gulden Community has sent information packages to shops in the Netherlands who already accept bitcoin, in an effort to inform them of a working alternative, Gulden, which is actually cheaper than regular payment methods.
The package includes a welcome letter, card display, cards, window stickers and install guide.

Where are the pictures, articles, user merchant reports...?

Show, don't tell.

I have Dutch friends who still have not heard of NLG. I know local charities with better publicity.

did you even read what he typed?
do your friends have shops that already accept bitcoin? no? then you are missing the point.

Sorry man, you're barely making sense.

maybe this forum is not for you. sorry.

So you have nothing to offer at all besides trolling. Great. Gulden goes up.

@Jean.Luc   That was useful. Thanks

Nothing will be released until February 2018 soonest and even then a major flaw will surface, we had that MaNi times before.

I have lost count of the number of times deadlines have been pushed back with incredible excuses, and after a while they simply did not offer an excuse. Stupid potheads like Rijk then act as if nothing bad happened. They did that for every misstep and half-truth they were caught up in. Kicked every critic off slack. Class act. Are all the Plasmans so terrible? I feel bad for them because for a while Rijk seemed to be trading off the family name. That stopped!

Off-topic, on the subject of Bitcoin Cash and the manipulation around it:

https://blog.synereo.com/2017/11/12/summary-of-events-bitcoin-vs-bitcoin-cash/

Picking up some steam around the net on various forums and FB group. Keep spreading so that people don't fall for the BCH trap.

WTF are you doing? concentrate on what you need to do for your own setup. I'm not convinced you have lost to the competition but by golly you're making it very difficult. Fucking wake up.
128  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] FACTOM - Introducing Honesty to Record-Keeping on: November 03, 2017, 10:16:38 AM
Hello Factom Community!

we are getting a lot of new users every day and they would appreciate your honest opinions and experiences about Factom at REVEX.CO/Factom

Thank you Smiley

My input is simple. Factom is good. But please, a giant F-U to the fools in marketing who think that the irrelevant tweets are helping to keep the price afloat. For Pete's sake put out something that is genuinely price-indicative instead of your generic buffet-table baloney. Fuck your NDAs. You can work around those.

Finding a suitable forum for the community has been a achilles heel for Gulden but it's not the end of the world. The world will move on and Gulden will continue to grow because it's more then a forum.

I don't know what is the problem with this guy Rijk. He just keeps on insulting the intelligence of other people. I tell you now what I told him. I have Dutch friends who are very intelligent. Why is he like that and why does he think Dutch people will always accept everything he says at face value? People who invest are very critical in their thinking, they want to test every single thing you say.

Every decision the devs have made always ends up with bad timing. I do acknowledge it's bad luck involved

Not bad luck. The devs have no guts. They wanted to wait and see, wait and see, wait and see. Lack of confidence in their own product offering? I don't know. They could have a lot to offer, but we never get to see it. Famine of really good news in a while, in an environment many other coins have made strong, confident moves. What signal does that send?

Sign up for the new Slack at Gulden.com

We have been using the Slack platform for quite some time now and it is the perfect way for us to communicate directly with the community and to provide support. In addition, many community projects and collaborations are emerging. Until now, everyone has been able to register for Slack, which offered many advantages, but unfortunately some disadvantages as well. People with the wrong intentions could easily come into contact with our members. This has been the case in recent months, as there have been several scam/phishing attempts. We have always tried to prevent this as much as possible and we have also taken various measures. Unfortunately, it wasn’t enough. Slack has contacted us and requires stricter measures. We need to know who our members are. Otherwise it won’t be possible to add new members. Fortunately, we already know most of the members, but there will be some noticeable consequences.

In the last few days we have set up a new Slack channel, for which everyone will have to register again. This registration will be done by verification, with 3 options to start with:
- through Nocks
- through Facebook
- through Linkedin

Nocks
At Nocks, we receive your email address and the status of your account (verified or not). It is only possible to sign in with a verified Nocks account. You will receive an invitation to Slack email immediately after registration.

Facebook/Linkedin
We can view your profile and we receive your e-mail address. Profiles are manually judged on authenticity and within a few hours you will receive an invitation for Slack.

So at the moment, Nocks is the fastest way to sign up for Slack. We understand that not everyone has a Nocks/Facebook/Linkedin account and will therefore gradually add multiple authentication methods.

For those who are in the "inner circle" with Rijk Not-smart-man, please let him know.

The market reacts to this news. You think the market is dumb? Shooting yourself in the foot again, Rijk?

***Applause for Rijk***
131  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is Gulden a good investment? on: November 02, 2017, 12:32:29 AM

GRS is making big moves today. Heading towards to top 50. No marketing just lots of development. Gulden shouldn't be delaying the release deliberately as investors are looking for good coins.

I never believed the developers when they said they've been working etc.etc.  Bloody lies. They don't have the guts to release because they want to wait and see. Sitting on their development funds doing nothing, asking for donations to do their marketing.
132  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] AMP - The Currency That Powers Your Attention On Synereo on: November 02, 2017, 12:01:41 AM
In the long run, these two goals can be compatible. As long as the velocity is high enough, each individual AMP can be low enough in value to be used freely by the WildSparkers, while still retaining enough value in aggregate to be a home run for us hodlers.

Only time will tell.

If only Synereo will build up sufficient hype and partnerships, instead of excelling in mediocrity. Potential != gain.

Case in point -- when I spoke to Dor about changing their original platform name (potential trademark infraction) I got a cool, know-it-all response. Stupid a-hole thought he had the plan all sewn up. Why was I not surprised when the name changed later?

Dor's reading this. Good. Pride leads to a fall. Learn to be humble, ***ing stupid millennial. I regret backing you and your trash. You're not the only fish in the ocean.

Pretend I am not feigning ignorance and educate me on the matter.

Not to flog a dead horse, just read Diego24's comments on this thread.
134  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is Gulden a good investment? on: October 31, 2017, 04:01:07 AM

That is good news for once.

I've said before that for NLG to make sense, it should trade at maybe .50 euro

The developers are slow to get there. Deliberately?
135  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] AMP - The Currency That Powers Your Attention On Synereo on: October 31, 2017, 03:47:01 AM

I don't know what a forward statement is.

No one on the Synereo team has ever "leaked minutes". Greg thought the drama would help him, publishing everywhere that he was going to go live on video to tell everyone how terrible he thinks everyone else besides him is. Other people from the team joined to have their voices heard.
The result was that he was voted out by 99.6% of the equity in the company, with the entire development team staying in Synereo.

I don't know whether you are feigning ignorance.

I have lost a great sum on AMPs because I held and believed. I sure wish AMP gets better. You know you're in shit. Look at your neighbors in coin capitalization. Yes, you've got potential, but FFS grow up and get us out of this mess.
136  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] AMP - The Currency That Powers Your Attention On Synereo on: October 29, 2017, 10:44:04 PM
Synereo sold 0.9% of the founder AMPs. Try to find a comparison with other projects and see how it ranks compared to them.

Then effing issue a statement about it. Don't let the market be affected by speculation that you are dumping with all your shitty vague forward statements and leaked minutes of meeting from Greg.

Burn some amps.

If I had to issue a statement every time someone on this thread made false accusations or spread misinformation, I wouldn't actually have any time to work. Smiley

Cute rejoinder. Really cute. Except these aren't just housewife rumors. Your forward statement. Leaked minutes. And instead of a clear response, your cutesy reply. I don't quite believe these rumors but you obviously aren't doing anything to help the fragility of the situation.

I don't mind Rijk but there was a lot of rich investors that he told to fuck off at the start of the coin.

Yes. And this helps in what way? I call it the young rich asshole syndrome.
139  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is Gulden a good investment? on: October 25, 2017, 02:35:04 PM
don't pay too much attention on the rankings.. these are CURRENT rankings

Fair enough. But you know, the developers are just shooting themselves in the foot with their assholery. Where they rank in business, it's good to make friends and not enemies.
140  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is Gulden a good investment? on: October 25, 2017, 09:25:45 AM
But how do they get there income?

They raised a few hundred BTC last year for development (and a bit extra to speed it up). Devs are comfortable that their income isn't influenced to NLG price development.

Those stubborn developers like to blame the market, manipulation, etc for their own miscalculations and failures. Whiners.
