121  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Pareto Principle and Bitcoin on: January 25, 2017, 11:00:34 PM
The Pareto Principle says that, for most cases, roughly 80% of the effects result from 20% of the factors. Nowadays, there are those who say that this ratio has changed from 90% to 10%. Does this rule apply to bitcoin?

So 80% of Bitcoin belongs to 20% of miners. Is this expression true to you?

The process of concentrating large amounts of bitcoin into the hands of a few people or a few companies is normal(unfortunately,and this might become a problem for bitcoin in the future).
It`s like the process of concentrating the capital into a few big corporations and killing the small competitors.
This is the nature of capitalism and bitcoin can`t be different.

Yes, that could be a big problem. In the capitalist system, an elite class of 1% owns the vast majority of money.
Those who have money are the ones who have the strength. But because normal currencies are under state control, even if the amount of money goes down, the new ones can be printed.
But the number of bitcoins that can be removed is limited. Once all the bitcoins have been dig, no new bitcoins will be produced anymore. In such an environment, those who own 99% of bitcoin will have everything.

Basically we know that the key to success is to work hard. We see that successful people are highly passionate.

Can any person with these qualities succeed in life? I think having these features alone is not enough.
It is very important to come to the right place at the right time. The environment in which the person lives is influencing his character. Family, friends, etc. The environments have great effect on the success of the person.

From Tureng Test period artificial intelligence has developed a lot more than everyday. Big Data, Natural Language Processing, Deep Learning etc

How long will the development of artificial intelligence continue? Will they be on the same level as people can think and decide?

Most people are afrade of artificial intelligance development . Why ? Well i guess its all because of american hollywood BS in there movies where artificial intelligance takes over the world or destroy it or something like that . But i think artificial intelligance can be big step in improvement of humans life . When you create AI you only need to look on in (him or she) as an equal in life . And that is it .

There is nothing that people need to be afraid of Artificial Intelligence. Artificial Intelligence can not go beyond design purpose. It can only be designed to serve humanity. But the greatest fear is that: What if the design is designed to go beyond the design goal?

Friend i think you mixed up artificial intelligance with virtual intelligance . Virtual intelligance can not go beyond what you have program it to be and serve , and Artificial intelligance can learn on its own . Artificial intelligance is like human , but much faster because it can use computers and all resources possible . Virtual intelligance is just what it is Virtual nothing more ...

Have you ever worked on artificial intelligence projects before? Have you been investigating artificial intelligence studies and algorithms?

Artificial intelligence's working areas are obvious. How artificial neural networks work is certain. There is no concept of virtual intelligence.
The objective of artificial intelligence is nothing but imitation of human thought and learning style.

I have not been working on artificial intelligence or investigating artificial intelligence much . You can find on wiki what Artificial intelligence is , there you can find that it is Learning and yes helping humans in various ways . And yes imitation of thought and learning style . Learning style , that is why some people are afrade of AI , and why i used term Virtual intelligence , because VI is made so it will seams like AI , but its programing is limited , and its not capable of learning like AI . So What you have put in to VI that is it , yes you can update it but it cant learn on its own .

I know very well what artificial intelligence means. I've been working on my artificial intelligence.

There's no need for people to be artificially scared. What matters is how artificial intelligence is designed. Artificial intelligence can not go beyond its design purpose. If it is not designed for a bad purpose, it can not harm people.

I think it would be useful to remember Isaac Asimov's three robot laws:

1. A robot may not injure a human being or, through inaction, allow a human being to come to harm.
2. A robot must obey the orders given it by human beings except where such orders would conflict with the First Law.
3. A robot must protect its own existence as long as such protection does not conflict with the First or Second Laws.

Asimov later added a zeroth item.

0. A robot may not injure humanity or by inaction, allow humanity to come to harm.

I am new on Bitcointalk. So I can't earn more. But I still trying to create more BTC. Now my total earning on Bitcointalk is 100$. I believe that my earning will increase from next month. Best of luck to you and your Study Paper.

Hi,

What are you doing to win BTC? You said that your total win in Bitcointalk is $ 100.
Did you earn $ 100 in signature campaigns? Thanks
125  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What would happen if BTC was Banned? on: January 25, 2017, 10:44:10 PM
If Bitcoin would be banned in entire globe, I think many of us will not accept it at first  but we can move on and if there would be a new opportunity that can replace BTC. So we should not ruin or abuse the use of it, I know you are in the right age to know what is right.

It does not make much difference for those who want to do illegal work. Because they can use maliciously in other currencies.
There was always fraud and illegal work. Bitcoinde is a currency like other currencies. There are some innovations he brings. It's not a problem with bitcoin, even if somebody does illegal work with bitcoin.

For example, a knife is a tool that helps you in the kitchen. But you can kill people with a knife. This knife will not do badly. The bad thing is how he used it.

What do you guys think it would happen if all the governments in the world declared bitcoin to be illegal?
How do you think the community would react? What could be the possible solutions?

Bitcoin is already working independently of the states. Even if states prohibit bitcoin, the presence of the bitcoin system will continue.
Some problems may arise when goverments declare bitcoin illegal. For example, both bitcoin users and bitcoin miners can be arrested. Then the use of bitcoin may be reduced. Normal users can stop using bitcoin. Bitcoin continues to be used only in its undergound.
nothing can stop bitcoin operated but the user itself right?
government , united nations or anything can make a rules to ban bitcoin , but they cannot stop the operation ,
it has experienced by bitcoin users from china and russia ,
they are frustated to stop people using bitcoin and then just let it run.

The bitcoin system needs miners to survive. States may apply forcible closures against mine pools.
When you imagine such a situation, it's intriguing by the bitcoin use for normal users?

For the time being my bitcoins I keep the desktop in a wallet application. I might consider buying a hardware wallet if I have too many bitcoins.

But unfortunately I can not tell you how much bitcoin is in my wallet. No one here inexpressive the amount of BTC that he has.

successful people are risking to make money to which they believe no pain no gain.

being a successful person is very hard. for we tend to find ways to avoid from failing, right?  but for me, whats the important ingrefient is that DO NOT BE AFRAID OF FAILING. if you fail in some point of yuor life then STAND UP! TRY AGAIN. do not dare to give up.  coz giving up will not do you good and wont take you anywhere.

Yes, the biggest problem of people is the fear of failing. They care too much about what other people think about themselves.

Successful people are not afraid of making mistakes. They are learning from their mistakes. They do not make the same mistakes in their next attempt. And they are progressing more experienced.

I've never been wrong, I've found 10000 ways that do not work. Thomas Edison
Nothing can take the place of a hard work. The genius is 1% inspiration and 99% perspiration. Thomas Edison

Thomas Edison is no genius. The favor was with him all because the invention he did was meant for the government to earn and collect tax unlike what Tesla did where electricity are for FREE.

I did not say Edison was genius. Steven Jobs, for example? No genius. But he is a successful entrepreneur.

A successful venture comes out of successful people.

Most advancement in AI comes from hardware and transistor density increasing over time (moore's law).

Very little comes from progress made in software.

I would guess decades will pass before AI reaches a level near human consciousness.

 Smiley

Interesting I always thought that AI was an advanced form of software that's super complex. I had no idea that CPU power had anything to do with it's learning and decision making abilities other than taking longer on slower CPUs.
If you write a super complex software, the "brain" will still be limited by its ability to process it. The more complex the program the more time it will take to compile an answer.
Also, the software will only allow it to create an answer based on the directions the programmer has thought of. Meaning that if you ask it a question it will answer it, but it won't be able to formulate its own questions, ones that the programmer hasn't thought of. It won't be curious and it won't understand what it is and try to improve.

Artificial Intelligence systems do not work like normal software. So they do not make fixed decisions. Artificial Intelligence is different from classical programming algorithms. Inputs and outputs are specified in standard programs. But in artificial intelligence systems, inputs and outputs may be different.

The purpose here is to imitate the human mind system. These thought functions then make analyzes on large data. As a result, you may get different answers from the programmer's coding.

80% of Bitcoin belongs to 20% of miners.

In general I wrote this because I think that big mine pools have more bitcoins.

More likely both of these:
  • 80% of the bitcoins are mined by 20% of the miners.
  • 80% of the bitcoins belong to 20% of the users

I think so, it would be more accurate to express it in this way.
135  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Terrorsit new Strategy on: January 20, 2017, 10:54:48 PM
It seems terrorism has adopted a new strategy of driving trucks at a populated area. What do you think about that.

Terrorists have one strategy. The room is killing more innocent people for absurd thoughts. There is no point in who does terror and how you do it. The important thing is how the world will get rid of its terror.

137  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: How many people exist today that fully understand the Bitcoin protocol? on: January 20, 2017, 09:50:24 PM
Sometimes when I read comments from various industry "experts" it makes me wonder how many people in the world truly understand the bitcoin protocol on an intimate level.

I mean fully know it inside and out. What do you think?

I think you should increase your questionnaire intervals a little more. I think it's between 7000 and 8000. Even the people working in IT sector do not know exactly. There are those who do not even hear the name bitcoin from those who have professional software development. A high level of technical knowledge is required to understand the protocol in real terms.
138  Other / Off-topic / What are the common characteristics of successful people? on: January 20, 2017, 09:36:08 PM
Some people in life are successful and some fail. There can be many different reasons for this.
What are the main factors of success? Intelligence? Working hard? What exactly is it?

In general, the advantages offered by BitCoin are mentioned. But the part that affects me the most is the technological infrastructure. I think that what you do with Blockchain technology will change our lives.

We will soon begin to see a lot of projects related to the following issues.

* Banking
* Voting and Selection Systems
* Internet of the Things
* Money Transfers
* Cyber security
* E-Commerce and Payments
* Online Music Sector
* Stocks
* Health care
* Identity Management Systems
* Donation Systems
