Bollox, i don't have my wallet on this laptop so I can't post my address.
Reserving space for future claims I guess.

Any ETA on the new client with diff adjustment fix? Best case scenario Wednesday - Worst case, early next week. **ALSO** SMP1.spendlitecoins.com is updated to 1.5.2 Tried out the server, it's one for newbies. Too eaz, and noez pvp >.< Of course it is, it's being advertised at people who've likely never played Minecraft before. Throwing them in the middle of the wilderness in hard mode wouldn't be a great way to introduce them to it.

Craftcoin Server Launched:
Use multiMC to load up version 1.4.7 and visit smp1.spendlitecoins.com
Well, cool news, but I have 1.5.2 running, and I don't seem to be able to do anything useful with that multiMC tool. I can make an instance of my current ...ummm... 1.5.2 version I think, but I haven't got a clue how to create an instance of an older version that I don't have. Guess I'll wait for the 1.5 server update First, you click on "Add A New Instance": Then you change the version to 1.4.7 (also, name it to something obvious): Congrats, double-click the icon to play:

A properly setup p2pool node should be connected to all the other p2pools for that coin. If you look at the payouts tab for all the CRC p2pools you'll see they all have the same miners.
The multiple nodes are more for redundancy and helping miners find connections with the least lag. (Basically, someone in Canada would rather connect to a node in new york than one in france.)

(...the chances of finding a block are identical whether that hash is mining at 1 pool or spread across 100 pools.)
What is the point of low hashers mining at a pool if their hashes are not a combined effort toward solving 1 individual block. I guess I still don't understand what pools do that solo-mining doesn't. With low hashes, solo-mining will likely never give you a payout unless you're one lucky bastard. With a pool you're much more likely to get some payout.

Not really necessary usually, but it helps. Just delete the blocks and chainstate folders.
You don't need to download a new client unless there's an update. Just close it, delete those folders, and relaunch.

yes this whole pirate thing makes this coin fun. good to promote too. hope it will not die and get stronger.
any news of the dev?
He's workin' on it, we've found the proper chain and got it all synced up to arol and the explorers. He just needs to tidy some things up, tweak some things so this hopefully doesn't happen again, push some checkpoints, and release the new binaries.

This is what you consider humorous...? Must be an inside joke with yourself or something
An inside joke is something only a small group of acquaintances would understand. This joke should be glaringly obvious to anyone with the slightest idea of what's going on with the American Economy right now, and that should be just about everyone who lives in a 1st world country. (AKA: most of the internet)

Thats nice to know, but since this happened on the 6th, there has not been any progress that we as miners have seen. With that, what are we "miners" suppose to think. Oh dear lord, the 6th? How Terrible! 5 whole days since the issue started and still no resolution!? Inconceivable! Seriously? Only 5 days? What a whiny spoiled child you are. Have some bloody patience, you have no idea how complicated the server end of things can get. If he's promising to get the coins to you after everyone else has withdrawn their funds then maybe you can complain when it's been 10 days since that. Otherwise shut your trap and let him sort things out, your whining only makes that more difficult. Wow, looks like we have an internet badass here. Spoiled child....LOL. If you are in your early 30's are under, then I was carrying an M16 down in South America training federal troops to fight anti-government rebels and drug cartels while you were still just sperm swimming around in your daddies balls. Now go away troll. I find it incredibly difficult to believe that anybody with your impatience and immaturity (not to mention your inability to grasp what a "troll" actually is) ever had anything to do with anything like that. That's really saying something considering I believe in chaos magic.

Hazard, I send you a PM 2 days ago, can you please respond at your earliest convenience. Much appreciated.
Lol inb4 catholicoin and minerscoin, both SHA256 Didn't his algorithm poll show that people wanted scrypt? Or did he choose SHA256 anyway, I wasn't really paying attention...

It's more like the whole packaging than just the stamp. Or rather, the ripple system is the packaging, and XRP are the stamps.

Isn't there an off-topic board? This has nothing to do with alternate crypto-currencies.

Thanks for doing this, but unfortunately for pool miners, fees usually go to the pool. Maybe a generous donation to the pool would be quicker.
The PPS doesn't share the fees? Anyway, I don't see how a direct donation to the pool helps more than just making it a tx fee. I guess my understanding of how a pool gets the fees with the block it finds is different than yours. Pools collect a percentage fee from miners, not all the fees from the block. EX: Pool collects a 1% mining fee, so for every 100 coins a miner receives the pool gets 1 coin So when a pool says that they get the block fees, what are they referring to? (From BTC Guild) .....at a 3% fee, which has some variance, but also includes block transaction fees. What that's saying isn't that it's getting the TX fees in the block, but rather 3% of the total (block+fees). Say the block is 20 coins and has 5 coin in fees on it, the pool get's 3% of 25, not 3% of 20 and then the other 5. This depends on the pool of course, but a poll that claims all the block fees aren't going to get many miners. That's like a diner manager that takes all the tips, that's just a douche move.

cmon guys help the with my p2pool. get the craftcoin network going
Most people who would use a p2pool are already on the other 3 nodes, there's really no incentive to switch to your node. When the difficulty issue gets fixed and we get more miners you may start seeing some people coming by your pool.

Merged coins have to be built for merging, you can't just merge any coin. As of yet, no one has made a merged mining coin using scrypt, as far as I know, the only merged coins that exist are namecoin, devcoin, ixcoin, iocoin, and geistgeld which are all bitcoin merged.
