We have fixed Block Chain fork Issue and Updated Protocol Version from 70002 to 70003. And we are working on new update to prevent this type of issue in future. It may take some time. New updates will be added soon.

Sorry to ask again, but is there a technical limitation relative to the possibility to generate on-demand a new random receiving address for a same wallet, please ?
Like Bitcoin Armory wallet does it automatically when clicking on button Receive Bitcoins of a specific wallet, for example.
For a privacy/anonymous centric cryptocurrency, I think it's a very important and useful feature.
Don't want to copy-paste always the same unique Monero address everywhere on the web, chat, emails... linked to my identity or multiple identities.
You understand what I mean ? Or am I wrong somewhere ?
I once read that the GUI wallet has a plugin system allowing third party possible plugins, is it still correct ?

For A) I suggest BTC38. If we just can manage to get into a Chinese exchange, it would really do great. BTC38 has it's trade_en pages and one can submit questions and they answer in english (depends who is there, sometimes they use google translate and occasionally someone DO speak english).
A) I'll put BTC38 on the list. APIsAPIs took the words right out of my mouth Chinese Exchange, same place i was thinking BTC38 great place to start. Pump? It is more likely Burst holders finding out about the Merge Mining opportunity. Again even if someone buys at 20 they buy more at 11 and hedge their position at 20. Ultimately if the BitCoin price goes up and QORA doesn't it could go to 1 satoshi and still be worth what you have invested. People are getting this concept and getting in to a stable and profitable coin! This means the coin can have great merchant support at low sats, creating liquidity when merchants decide to accept the coin. Why would people rather buy in to a $40 coin that is being Mined and sold for profit, when you can get in on a coin that will have no inflation and has a base distribution that allows you to always secure your investment? Meanwhile they also get Exponential profit possibilities. I still say keep the 10B static and mine for Transaction fees and hope for Burst Support like we just saw in the market on Burst and QORA simultaneously! Also, being that the excuse would be that the inflation is small only means that you really don't need to expand the Cap to make it work. The 10B is something that is sacred to this coin and will help the coin once it is fully distributed. Consider all the fees that can be mined for people using the Social Media aspects decentralized, and as the economy ramps up! Of course this would also be part of the blocks even if the 10B were inflated, I just think it is kind of sacred to the coin and should be left intact when the only benefit would be to draw people in just to mine it. This just shows a glaring example of why it should just be merge mined for no reward other than TX fees. How many people on Burst would mine it for Free? Well if it is 4 miners that is enough. I will be one who is the other 3? See how easy it will be to create interest! And think about the small guy miners they can actually compete if the 10B is static and possibly win some TX fees. If we keep it to TX Fees only, most big miners won't care. Then small miners can support the network and there are more small miners than big, and guess what QORA is... Social Media! This is the beauty of Social Networking an Support as it grows the network. The individual is more important than the Big Mining outfit just to dump coin on a market that nixes Social aspects in return for payoffs. Of course they have interest from companies in the industry, but that doesn't mean anything, especially without some actual name dropping. It's a long road and this is in its infancy that's all I'm saying.
I personally don't like the branding or the name for that matter since in my opinion it's just lame to focus only futuristic/sci-fi elements. In terms or regulation issues, well I can see some bands or solo artists in UJO selling their content, tracks and rights without much difficulty. Now the film industry is a whole different thing, especially in the US (most quality production are US based or UK). There are whole crews of +100 people working, will there be fiat gateways, royalties? Will they use ETH? BTC? How does the whole thing's gonna work for the average person and producer? Indie companies and film makers (I'm talking about real indie and underground stuff) will definitely be interested similar to UJO but I don't think this is what they are aiming for, and if they were, well it goes back to my point that presentation of the platform/product is too nichey.
This could all change in the future, so it's a matter of having faith in the company and team, I'm just talking about the present and the information we have now.
Yes its true that it wont happen over night. Zach estimated it would take 5-10 years to reach it full potential. I think they did have most their initial test clients signed up already, but we still need to see if they can attract quality content producers. Until they announce something we wont know. Didnt they mention fiat gateways as one of the modules in their latest update? Royalties payments should be managed by the rights management platform. It was one of the selling points that all of that would be automated. Once the modules are build, they company shouldnt have a lot of expenses, and so wont need a lot of revenue to make a profit, which could allow them time to grow. There is of course always the risk that the project fails, but both startup and crypto investments have always been high risk. without risk we can not run so avoid from this we must keep it in mind that high risk leads to us a high gain. |

Why is this coin not listed on Coinmarketcap.com? It is listed, but marked as "inactive": https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/slimcoin/ . That's because BTER had delisted it a couple of months ago. In any case, I'm trying to find out what is the total number of coins. Can someone answer this for me? I'd like to calculate the current market cap.

If you want to calculate it yourself, you must rest the balance of the burning address ( SfSLMCoinMainNetworkBurnAddr1DeTK5) from the total supply you get when typing "getinfo" in the debug window ("moneysupply" value). (I just conducted a rapid market cap calculation and get about 17 BTC if taking into account the bid value at NovaExchange. That would be around 15.000 USD.) Thanks for helping out! So where can I buy these coins? Looks like there are no exchanges that trade SlimCoin? Diff is still low. You can mine some blocks as well. where there is a will there is a way .... |
