121  Economy / Collectibles / Re: [AUCTION] 2017 LIMX BlueBits 0.001 btc // 2018 MoonBits BTX (Bitcore) 1,2.5,5,10 on: October 26, 2023, 12:50:34 AM
Holding back on bidding for lot 1, so some others have a chance to grab this rare chip. Just saying all these old Bluebits BTC chips are really hard to come by, most were sold to random crypto folks at conferences (afaik) and god knows if these people ever find their way into the forum.
There were only 49 of the yellow 0.001 chip ever made to begin with.
See: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5114574.0
And: https://btc.cryptoid.info/btc/tx.dws?280521064.htm

Same goes for the blue 10 BTX chip. Only 50 made.

122  Economy / Collectibles / Re: [AUCTION] 2023 SatPulse #0001 Limited Edition Autograph Coin & Encyclopedia Set on: October 26, 2023, 12:45:25 AM
Crazy rare pieces... I'ma give it a shot, but looking at some celebrity collectors that already joined the auction let's see how this goes.

to help with explaining the differences in the coins mintage.

There were 1000 coins made. 974 with  a silver hologram, 15 with a gold hologram all numbered 0000 with letters above QR code, of the 974 there were 11 with errors, those 11 were then used to create 8 with gold holograms with the numbers #1-4 and 97-100 and were accompanied with the book above. The 3 remaining were not used.

Ah, thanks for the explanation.

So regarding these gold holo coins, all were sold with the book - where did these sales happen?

124  Economy / Collectibles / Re: [AUCTION] BLUEBITS 10 kbits (black) + Bluebits 2.5 kbits (green) Bitcoin chips on: October 20, 2023, 12:34:31 AM
KW is a solid guy. I have done many recent deals with no escrow and all went great. He may be tied up, and I’m sure he will be in touch.
Hey KW, hope all is well, just reaching out to you again but this time on this thread to see if you will be reaching out to/following up with me today as it's been 48 hours since the auction ended.  Thx!

Sorry 2stout... you won these too cheap! haha

I don't think this is the case as I've done deals with KW going back to 2018 and this would be very unlike him.

Thanks for the bids everyone!

And thank you for the trust to all of you and sorry for the delay.
I'm back on the forum and happy 2stout won this. PMs been sent and I'm able to be more active within the next few days again.

@rsincognito Hope you can keep both your car and kidney and still got a chance for an Otoh cas coin. Cheesy

126  Economy / Collectibles / Re: [Interest check] Group buy - Bitcoin Lightning Shirt from Hodlcat on: October 15, 2023, 06:01:53 PM
Ahhhh I can't say no to this one. Thanks for the offer, Humble!
Here's the soundtrack for the shirt: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=We_DLCYDaYw

Tbh I am similar excited for the stickers as I am for the shirt itself, haha.

I know it was interrupted in the middle, but this seems like an unusually long run this time, no? How many hours long is this rental Willi?

761,000,000,000+ shares seems like more than previous BlockParties.
Agreed pretty crazy. Maybe the interruption was mostly at night when no one noticed, seems to be the only explanation for me.
Still, I believe time is running out very soon. Super luck in the last minutes? Vamoooos!  Grin
128  Economy / Collectibles / Re: [INFO]-Crypto Stamps- Collectable Blockchain postage stamps on: October 14, 2023, 12:41:30 PM
as of today, you can place a pre-order (limited to a maximum of 5 stamps per customer) for the first official germany crypto stamp from Deutsche Post.
the crypto stamp with a postage value of 160 cents will be released on november 2, 2023 and shows the brandenburg gate as interpreted by an artificial intelligence.
significant difference from the other crypto stamps, in the german edition is that due to the individual number in the matrix code, each physical stamp as well as the pictorial representation of the nft with this number is unique. the retail price of the booklet is €9,90 and the mintage is 250.000 copies.

https://www.deinebriefmarke.de/kryptomarke

Funny piece.
- *only* 250k (lol)
- they had a % sold counter that was stuck at 0.29% for a while, so probably out of shame they removed it
- It's not like the Austrian CS where you pay 1:1 the denomination, it's 6x as expensive as the postage-value of the stamp
- there is an additional 750000 physical stamps without NFT and without Matrix code for the direct denomination prize (I read in one article but didn't find the source for that, so take with a grain of salt).
- NO INFO about on which shitcoin-chain this thing will be running. For all it's worth it could be a central database-"chain" owned by the post service itself. Most likely it will be polygon or similar but still... No info yet, what the heck!

All in all: not amazing.

Nice, welcome on board, Bro! 👊
Haha, jetzt sind meine Erwartung auch unrealistisch hoch. Wird auf jeden Fall spaßig die bestshares zu checken ab morgen.

Hey everyone, Willi is the best. Trust Willi and just wait. If you do that, good luck will definitely come your way.
I second that and good luck from my side to everyone in this run, too!
Personally I think it's great to take part in this as long as it's still possible - the next halving will probably change the dynamics quite a bit. Unless Bitcoin does a 5x or more, then maybe this kind of endeavor may be possible for a while even after the upcoming halving.
133  Economy / Collectibles / Re: NGC formally announces 250 Brass Cass Coins being Auctioned w/ Heritage Soon on: October 12, 2023, 01:23:57 PM
I spoke to them extensively on the phone today, they don’t usually do the $5000 deposit thing, but because of the value of each coin that’s what you got a pay to play. I have the credit app and I’m filling it out tomorrow to submit it, when I find out the terms I’ll let everybody know on the site. Being able to pay in bitcoin would be a major plus.

Currently looking at the credit app and the requirements and it is borderline an "anal probe" about 2 feet inside. lol. along with $5k deposit bank wire they want a letter signed by bank like a power of attorney  that allows the bank to release all banking account info showing current balances and such to the auction house. along with a resellers tax ID and a personal guarantee. As a long time business owner the only time I have seen more credit verification needed from myself was when I was trying to get a loan on a commercial piece of property, its almost that deep of a dive. I will continue to keep you all posted on my experience if you like.
Uh, that sounds horrible. Thanks for reporting and going down that rabbit(butt)hole.
I really wonder how many potential collectors will be willing to go through all this to buy a Cas coin.

A total of 250 Cas suddenly available on the market - always great to see an extended distribution of these historic pieces. Just wonder if there will be enough high-roller buyers to take that opportunity. Maybe one or a few big whales jump in to buy up the majority of these coins. Exciting times.
134  Economy / Collectibles / Re: Kialara Moon Suite #10 up for Raffle on Scarce City on: October 11, 2023, 01:26:42 AM
A beautiful piece of Bitcoin history is up for Raffle on Scarce City. Miner Jones ships it from his Headquarter 🤩

https://scarce.city/raffles/2017-kialara-silver-series-to-the-moon-suite-10

Okay, this is new to me, a raffle on scarce.city? So there is an infinite amount of tickets and the market decides which amount seems a fair amount?
I like the idea, pretty interesting concept for sure. And good luck with your sales, Humble.
135  Economy / Collectibles / Re: [RAFFLE][LOTTERY][CLOSED] MX12 BITCOIN ART - "Lightning Future" on: October 11, 2023, 01:14:32 AM
Man I'm a lucky mofo!  I of course can't thank Kryptowerk enough. I don't believe this is the first time you've purchased a ticket for me (as well as that goes for others like my boy Owl...it's much appreciated my brothers!!).

I look forward to getting this piece. I'm currently setting up my home office and hanging some Kialara and Cryptografitti pieces and this would/will make a lovely addition to the currently collection.  Muchas gracias!!!

Haha, love to see it. Yes, quite certain there was at least one other raffle that went in a similar way, but can't recall which it was rn. Maybe some silver coins from DaveF? Hmm not sure, lmk if you remember.
In any case congrats, nice to hear timing fits your new office setup well. Smiley

136  Economy / Collectibles / Re: [SALE] Ometeotl 0.5 Bitcoin Gold plating + Ometeotl 0.5 Bitcoin Silver plating on: October 11, 2023, 01:10:39 AM
SOLD (both coins)!

Shipped to the buyer a few hours ago.
Congrats on the quick sale!
The Ometeotl coins are pretty unique. I got a 4-coin set of these but haven't seen them pop up on the forum in recent years.
Welcome to the collectibles section here.
137  Economy / Collectibles / Re: [INFO]-Crypto Stamps- Collectable Blockchain postage stamps on: October 10, 2023, 01:34:53 PM
and within a very short time frame (hours) all the rainbows for the 5.1 Austrian stamps were sold out - waiting now for the eBay 10x flips. Sometimes I wish there were limits on purchases lol so actual collectors could have an hour or two to buy before all the flippers snatch up everything.

rainbow? hours? after 2 seconds the rainbows were labelled "sold out" - all the bots stroke fast.
rainbows were limited to 1 per purchase/household, but bots (see above) ...
btw1: same game with NL ...
btw2: and LUX did not issue rainbows at all
Yeah, I think it's a mistake to have different tiers that can be purchased directly.
A proofably fair random distribution is the way to go. Or an even distribution, but that's just boring.

I experienced the sold-out-within-seconds quite a while ago (not sure which CS it was) and continiously lost interest in these make-money-quick-schemes. Little innovation, much cashgrab, no WOW.

or use mempool - in all seriousness some of those block explorers are difficult to read.

Yes indeed. I liked cryptoid, but that rounding error is extremely annoying and has been cause for confusion for me in the past, too.
Right now blockchair.com and mempool.space are my favourites.

Thanks for bringing this thread back to topic, Spokanistan!  Wink

140  Economy / Collectibles / Re: [AUCTION] Silver Bonanza: CryptoImperator Gearing BTC / CI YARR!! / Chad Rocket on: October 10, 2023, 12:55:53 PM
If I am not mistaken, I was told by a collector that the CI gear set is one of the rarest CIs ever produced.
It indeed is, 21 sets were produced.
That Yarr is (besides being the most beautiful CI coin ;) pretty rare, too, only 50 made.

Lot 2: 0.03 BTC

If I am not mistaken, I was told by a collector that the CI gear set is one of the rarest CIs ever produced.

Yes, it is. I was lucky enough to win 2 boxes of them in the other day. 😄
How did you *win* these, you mean win an auction or was there a raffle or anything similar? In any case, congrats!
