122  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Has the world become greedier since BTC? on: July 01, 2021, 01:48:03 AM
We don't get satisfied. Bitcoin or Blockchain Technology opened up so many opportunities, if this could help up attain our financial freedom, why not use it?

I don't tolerate illicit activities. we still have to work to get something. Wanting material things could help us operate efficiently and have much easier life.
123  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why on earth do you own bitcoin? on: July 01, 2021, 01:38:48 AM
The chances of it getting bigger after the time you bought it is high, the market might be volatile or it might stay stable for a year, but we will reach another all time high anyway.
124  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What happens to the coins after your death ? on: June 30, 2021, 05:59:05 PM
Operating crypto processes might be hard for starters. It would be better to share your knowledge with someone you trust and share your keys in a way you preferred. Privacy is needed; it would be risky if your inheritor asks others to help them access your crypto.
125  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin and pension fund on: June 30, 2021, 05:42:25 PM
Pension funds are for security, the fact that bitcoins are volatile would be hard for them to regulate their value
Problems can arise. It would be more convenient to hold them on our own to avoid any conflict.

127  Economy / Speculation / Re: Using BTC only for Trading? on: June 30, 2021, 05:20:45 PM
Vs holding an unstable alt coin such as something like Shibu Inu or some of those other alt coins that could disappear or dump lots within a day or a few hours. Also have no value in long term to hold an alt coin?
Be careful in trading meme coins. You can easily lose more than half of your capital if you have traded the wrong timing.

Right! These meme coins out there don't have any use case, traders will eventually sell once they reach their profit goals
Then it will be dumped and become less valuable, with a low chance of climbing back.

I still preferred getting out of our comfort zone; try risking small for a day trade on other coins.
Widen your connections. Some traders out there share some great insights.
128  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is there really a lot of money to be made trading bitcoin? on: June 30, 2021, 05:03:33 PM
Trading guides can't predict what will happen to bitcoin prices; unforeseeable factors are involved in price changes.
You could make some money from trading bitcoin, but you need enough knowledge and huge funds to start, the risk involved.
Diversifying your crypto asset for trading would make a lot of sense if you want to make more money.
Crypto whales are everywhere; there are players out there building projects.
Traders follow the trend. Just keep updated.
129  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: My Bitcoin Questionnaire on: June 30, 2021, 04:44:24 PM
2. The educated audience are the ones labeling Bitcoin as scam.
This actually makes sense to me. Being educated means you have a huge grasp of knowledge on a topic, thus makes you question it's lacking
#notcryptorelated  Also, just like how fanbases work, you have the potential to become the biggest hater of your favorite artist.
130  Economy / Economics / Re: Founders of South African Bitcoin exchange disappear after $3.6 billion 'hack' on: June 30, 2021, 04:17:05 PM
The amount of the hacked bitcoin is still in my question, I can't believe there are many users on their platform.
Investing in an AI trading bot seems skeptical to me. I guess it is either planned since the start, or they were hacked.
131  Economy / Economics / Re: The trend of prices is still upward, any hope for downward? on: June 30, 2021, 02:48:54 PM
The fact that the crypto prices boomed during the pandemic is one of the responses to the crisis.
But Pump and dump schemes are present due to the high demand, so I think the market decline is only short-term.

it has just been bitcoin that has been rising in price. the altcoins are still pump and dumping so they always end up at a lower price because their dump is inevitable.
it wasn't just during pandemic though, bitcoin has been rising ever since 2019. it is currently up 993% so far!
Yes, I agree. Let's not forget strong altcoins out there, Bitcoin has a great influence on the price movement as it is usually used as trading pair.
Some altcoin doesn't have any use case, so they are vulnerable to dumping.

I don't think so. Because those who have been in crypto will be taking the benefits and sad to say that only a very small percentage of the total population knows about this. How does that become a solution? And those poor people could have no chance to prioritize investing but of course, they took themselves first.

If we think that prices will dump, that seems so hard this time until the pandemic still exists. We almost close to $25k, but the market recovers so fast as the demand still high and moving back to $30k. Maybe, we're not seeing $20k Bitcoin's price back again.

Yes, you have a point. I mean, we reached ATH during the pandemic; I guess it is due to an increase in demand.
I think there are players out there taking advantage of the market situation, resulting in volatility, so I think the decline is only short-term.
I mean, the crypto prices will get better.

133  Economy / Economics / Re: Is this a gang up against cryptocurrency? Or ways to regulation? on: June 30, 2021, 12:48:08 PM
I hope this is not something that can negatively affect us. Regulation is a great implementation as long as they use their power to keep security and avoid their people losing their money. Schemes and illicit activities are very present due to the crisis.
134  Economy / Economics / Re: what makes us good investors. on: June 30, 2021, 12:42:02 PM
People seem to have forgotten the basic principle of Avoid Investing in Anything You Don't Understand. You are never required to invest in any specific investment. Don't let other people convince you to invest in something you don't understand. Many opportunities will arise in life.

Don't let the fear of missing out cause you to do things that aren't right. If you or the person managing your money can't explain basic investing principles such as where and how money is made, how much is paid for that income stream, and how the money will eventually return to your pocket, then you're not investing.
I agree. There are so many cliches in what good investors should do, but we have to have a great foundation to start.
Investing might not be for everyone, sometimes skills are needed in this niche, which is also why financial advisers are offering their services.

136  Economy / Economics / Re: Poor and middle class as a mentality on: June 30, 2021, 11:25:18 AM
Rich people are born full of opportunities; they are privileged enough to be studied in a great university, have a great environment and connections.
Most of the rich came from successful businesses, but the education system didn't teach us about handling our finance.
137  Economy / Economics / Re: Can the world be without poverty on: June 30, 2021, 10:55:59 AM
Education is a great factor why poverty is still rising; if people are educated enough, they could get away from poverty.
The problem is, education is privileged; it is not free at all. Lack of resources could potentially make you lose interest in anything.
If only the government could provide free education and support, people could help build a better community.
More opportunities will come for the next generation.
138  Economy / Economics / Re: When everybody tell you take take risk with money on: June 30, 2021, 10:43:38 AM
We only grow out of our comfort zone, risking sometimes is a great choice, it's either wins or lose, but overall we accumulate experiences and knowledge
Money is an asset, we use it to accumulate something, just like in investing in knowledge, we risk our money for no guarantee of getting a job.
But a wise person won't just go blindly when they are risking something, they are thinking before doing anything else, a lot of people seem to misunderstood risking to be successful, it doesn't mean that you go all in or not because there's a slim chance that you will make it so you have to have a back up plan that will help you to get back up.
I agree. People should still be wary about risking a huge amount of money, especially gambling or any money playing process.
But risking money is not always a bad thing, as long as you use it on something that could potentially help you.
I just use education cause it's a great example of it. Online Masterclasses or programs are pricey, but it doesn't guarantee anything.
It's a risky move for me.
139  Economy / Economics / Re: After 1 year of Covid 19 Virus on: June 30, 2021, 09:52:53 AM
Good for these countries free from the virus. I still feel like developing countries are missing out right now.
Cases are still rising, and it's alarming. Not only because of government lack of action, but lack of resources
I guess densely populated places are most negatively affected right now.
