The only thing that I can see that Bitcoin needs to improve is its scalability. Observing the current trend of Bitcoin i don't think that Bitcoin will reach $15k this July and it will take some more time to reach that price it seems. Current price is healthy but there is no sign that it may rise further since Bitcoin have touched $10k just once from January and the trend is floating around $8k for some time.
