121  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Youtube bitcoin advertisements everywhere. on: June 28, 2019, 11:36:58 AM
The ads that are played on your account on youtube solely depend on your preferences and especially the topics that you usually search on google. Since both mediums are connected to one another, it is to no surprise that bitcoin ads would play on your device. However, what i do usually see are articles related to bitcoin. They do tend to pop up at random intervals, with the headline pertaining to its recent increase in price, as well as its benefits to the consumer. I just hope that people will take the time to read such an article and would begin to take an interest on the world of cryptocurrency.
122  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Holding multiple altcoins on: June 28, 2019, 12:50:17 AM
There are pros and cons when it comes to putting all of your altcoins in a single wallet. One particular benefit is efficiency, since you can see all of your holdings and manage them as you desire. The cons however, pertain to the possibility of it being hacked and the chance of losing "all" of your holdings. Though storing altcoins in a single wallet may prove as a convinience in your part, it is best if you try other wallets to store your holdings. There are those who recommend ledger nano. Im not that familiar with the wallet but considering that the majority of the population recommended ledger nano, you should give it a try. I would personally recommend Myetherwallet, since it is convinient and easy to use

124  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: BEST ICO for 2018 on: June 10, 2018, 01:46:35 PM
For me the best ICO of 2018 are:

#1 Nucleus Vision
#2 GoNetwork
#3 Bluzelle
#4 Gems
#5 Experty
#6 In Protocol
#7 Apex

I would consider to participate in one of these ICOs that you have mentioned. I just hope that one of them will offer a bounty campaign in the near future. Im looking for one that has a lot of potential, that will guarantee success by the end of its period. Bounty campaigns are what drives me to pursue bitcoin, though i'll be blunt.. not all of them are legit and most of them has a high chance of failing. That's why your list gave me hope since you have said that these ICOs are what should be looked forward to in 2017.
125  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is Fiat? on: June 10, 2018, 01:00:22 PM
Fiat money is the traditional money that we use in our everyday lives. Its associated with cryptocurrency because of how it brings up the purpose of bitcoin.. bitcoin is purposely made to replace fiat money, two known currencies that live off in different platforms, with bitcoin circulating around the net.
126  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Bounty Strategy on: June 10, 2018, 12:54:10 PM
You should read all of the information that the bounty has provided and make sure that you can catch up to the bounty's terms and conditions, as well as the requirements that they ask for you to comply. You should also read the project's concept and whitepaper. Take the time to throughly assess if the project has a lot of potential, if it'll catch the attention of future buyers and investors. I sometimes search the project in ICOrating and other various of websites to see its Hype and risk level, as well as of what the writers would say of the project.. it helps me to pick out the best among all of what is offered.
127  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Short term Trading investment or Bounty campaigns? on: June 10, 2018, 12:46:04 PM
Why not do both at the same time? It will be a productive and profitable thing to engage on. It will double the amount of money that you'll earn, though it will cost you a lot of your time. Joining in bounty campaigns will pay off the effort that you have invested onto that particular project especially if it has turned out to be quite a success. You'll find that both of these things will bring you a lot of fortune in the near future, as long as you manage your time and that you thoroughly assess the projects that you have taken interest in, because truth be told not all bounty campaigns are gjaranteed to be a success
128  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Bounties - how do they work? on: June 02, 2018, 12:31:25 PM
There are various of bounties offered by a particular project. They may provide bounties related to social media and of this forum. The most common bounty is signature and avatar campaign. There, you will be given a number of rules and requirements needed to be accomplished in order for you to receive your pay. Normally they will require you to post on different threads and for a fixed amount of messages. The token allocation and supply, your rank, and the number of posts that you have done will determine the amount of tokens that you will receive. Of course, the bounties provided by the project differ from one another, with different requirements and tasks that you need to accomplish.
129  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Ethereum will go up or down? on: June 02, 2018, 06:16:25 AM
There are rumours that Ethereum will reach 2500 dollars by the end of 2018 and I am really looking forward for its price to increase at this particular amount. You see, there is an exponential amount of projects being created, those of which will surely use ethereum's provided platform, thus pouring billions of dollars into the ecosystem. The more of its platform is being used, the higher its offered price. Owing to this very reason, ethereum will surely increase in value
130  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Feelings about being hacked. on: June 02, 2018, 01:57:15 AM
It can either be that you have exposed your private key or you have logged in to a phishing website. Be careful of phishing websites.. usually the website that you'll log in to will provide a link, hinting that it should be similar to the link that you have just visited.. one particular example is MyEtherWallet. Mew often gives out a warning before you can even log in to your account.. you should always double check if the encoded words in the URL are similar to those that are provided by the legitimate website.
131  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Can ETH reach BTC value ? on: June 02, 2018, 12:50:04 AM
It really isnt far from happening. ETH is widely accepted in the crypto world because of how well established its software platform is and how it facilitates peer-to-peer contracts and applications via its own currency vehicle, unlike bitcoin that is just used as an alternative to regular money. ETH offers a number of possibilities to developers who want to build and run distributed applications. That is why it has gained a lot of popularity ever since its first launch. It has caught the attention of the public and has continuously increased its demand ever since. Moreover, ETH simplifies transaction because of its shorter block time compared to bitcoin, wheareas ETH can be done in seconds while bitcoin in minutes.
132  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: All my money in 1 altcoin - Too risky? on: June 02, 2018, 12:06:50 AM
Yes, it is a risky thing to pour all of your money into 1 altcoin, but if you really are willing to invest in that particular altcoin then just make sure that it has a lot of potential. You should also be knowledgable of its background, do some adequate research and thoroughly assess which type of altcoin you are going to invest in to avoid a number of predicaments that might trouble you in the near future. As i have read, the altcoin that you have mentioned is at the top 40 altcoins offered in the market, that kind of information wouldnt suffice. To see whether if it is legit, check a number of websites that may hold that kind of information. You should also search the altcoin itself to further support the evidences provided.
133  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Keep these things in mind when you are into crypto world on: May 31, 2018, 02:12:56 PM
That's very informative OP. Thanks for the advice. I have heard a lot of ICOs that turned out to be a scam, there are some that are convincing, whereas they have gathered potential buyers and investors over a short period of time. The concept is good and the team is responsive to all of the queries that have been asked, though by the end of the campaign.. they have completely and utterly gone dark. I hope the OP's message will benefit those who are still new to the idea of cryptocurrencies. Be safe and be careful
134  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Lets be careful on what we are investing on: May 31, 2018, 01:08:54 PM
Well, that's unfortunate. I cant even imagine the reaction of those who have invested huge amounts of money into this project. This just goes to show that we must always be wary of the possibility that a particular ICO has a chance of failing. In cases such as this denaro has really taken precise measurements to trick the people into thinking that their project is legit, using fake team members as to gather potential buyers. we really cant do anything about it since the action has already been done, most of the members have completely shut down, deciding not to speak out and reassure that everything is fine. Next time, in picking out a project to invest in, we should thoroughly assess the project's website, the team and the whitepaper that has been provided during the ICO period. we should also keep in mind that investing in cryptocurrencies is a risky thing to do and that we should invest with caution.
135  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to Choose a Good ICO on: May 30, 2018, 07:52:12 AM
You should consider all of the things that you have mentioned. A project's concept is important and will determine the direction of its sales. If it is unlike the rest of what is offered here in the virtual platform and that the project is capable of gathering a lot of potential buyers and investors then you can conclude that it is a good ICO but this particular factor isnt enough to determine if the ICO will successfully reach its quota of sales. You should consider how the team advertises the introduced project and how active they are in doing so because truth be told this particular strategy really helps a lot in selling the project's tokens. Last but not the least, the token allocation and supply should not be too high nor too low
136  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Does crypto bring more risk than benefit? on: May 27, 2018, 01:55:51 AM
Yes, especially if you plan on investing your money into it but since i havent invested anything on cryptocurrency i dont see any risks that may refrain me from pushing through this so called " part time job ". The only risk that i have taken is when i joined this forum for the first time. Cryptocurrency's at that time have been misinterpreted. They say that it is a scam, i set that mindset aside and tried it for myself. Since then i've been earning bitcoins that i can cash out
137  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will Waves hit $100 in this Year? on: May 27, 2018, 01:29:05 AM
Dont get your hopes too high. The world of cryptocurrency is full of ups and downs, there are instances that it might crash or that it will go beyond your expectations. Its an unpredictable thing to handle. Lets just wait for it to happen and we'll see what it has to offer, but considering waves.. there's a chance that it will not reach that specific value. I've been holding waves before and it has taken over 7 months since its last increase.
138  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Digital Currency Take Over on: May 26, 2018, 11:44:50 PM
Well digital currency has certainly caught the attention of the mass but there are these certain factors that prevent it from flourishing around the world. The number 1 reason is that there are certain countries that are against digital currency, and you are right about how the government is threatened because of the fact that it doesnt require tax. Another reason is that not all of the people have access to the internet, some are computer illiterate and dont know how to maneuver their way in using digital currency
139  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin cannot be a global currency on: May 26, 2018, 01:35:18 PM
I couldnt agree more, bitcoin cannot be a global currency. It will only exist in the world of crypto, standing on top of the other coins offered in the market. I guess this is a good thing because if it were to be a global currency then it will be a confusing thing to deal with since its value flactuates from time to time. It isnt stable as fiat money and people with decent jobs will have a hard time earning income. Lets just leave it at that.. fiat money existing in the real world while bitcoin in the virtual platform
140  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Do you wish to have physical notes, coins for bitcoin? on: May 26, 2018, 12:28:33 PM
Its fine as it is, theres no need to create such a thing. Bitcoin is a unique currency that operates in a virtual platform.. anonymous transactions and other features are what keeps bitcoin pumping. Its demand continuously rises because of this very reason. If it does end up in a tangible state like fiat then it would end up being controlled by the government.
