But I think that a different coach would be able to make them much stronger than they are right now. I agree that regarding the names, some of the exclusivity was gone when Messi and Neymar left the club, but when you look at their whole squad they still have plenty of quality. I would like to know how far a top coach could develop this team. With someone like Zidane or Guardiola I believe they would be better off. However they are having struggles in big away games so far. They actually beat Chelsea but Chelsea were having a really hard time back then. Liverpool and Newcastle destroyed Aston Villa. However if they keep up a consistent form in general -just as they are doing now- they can be competitive for top 5 at worst.
Other than the Newcastle vs Arsenal match, I don't see any other match that will be more competitive with each other. Newcastle have been performing well in the Premier League so they have a good chance of doing well against Arsenal in this match I would definitely favor a draw. The match between Chelsea and Tottenham is considered by many to be a competitive match but according to Chelsea's performance this match is not supposed to be a competitive match. Tottenham have been in their best form this season so they are unlikely to do badly against Chelsea when they are in their best form. Are you sure? The number of Arsenal fans is significantly greater than Manchester United fans.
Manchester United was one of my favorite clubs in the English Premier League at one time, but after a few seasons, their performance has been very bad, so I don't support Manchester United very much. Maybe like me many fans are supporting some other club except Manchester United as Arsenal supporter is more than Manchester United at the moment. No fan or team ever likes to lose back to back, the pain of defeat is bitter. Arsenal performed well last season and they finished last season at number two and this season they are doing very well and looks like they will have a great competition with Manchester City this season. Since Arsenal's current performance is quite good, we can say that Arsenal fans are currently more than Manchester United. |
