1201  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: [ANN] Cheaper In Bitcoins opens for the public. on: May 17, 2012, 01:48:18 AM
Whats up with your stock?  Which stock is the real one? Would you say its a good idea to invest?

The company is selling its stock under current one tickernamed: CheaperinBitcoins-Stocks

The 2nd one is named: CIB-Solutions  and is an old investment plan/loan I had going when Cheaper In Bitcoins first emerged and that one is in the process of being payed back do not purchase from this ticker name.(For the record I've been paying this loan back even when Cheaper In Bitcoins wasn't making any income while the website was offline for months.)

I recommend for the long term investors to invest right now, and the short term investors to invest in 1 - 3 months from now, when all my merchants are signed on and the websites visual functionality more accurately reflects the almost flawless back-end and can allow short term investors their quick value they strive for.

Darn, sold my CIB-Solutions shares for bitcents on the dollar the other day, cause I thought it was dead. Sad
I repeat do not purchase CIB-Solutions......

Hey, looks nice, but...

In Opera:

 - When i select category "media...", and then movies, the subcategories will perish.
 - the item detail has just empty page, insted of at least the summary from list
 - The registration and users page is ... well empty and useless. At least something like password change should be allowed.

I'll keep watching!

I can reproduce this issue in all browsers and a password change form is defiantly needed I will add those asap too!

Prices seems to be fucked up, pictures don't load, placeholder texts seem to be in place... Did you release a bit early?

It looks good, for being broken in so many ways.  Smiley

To add to the list, every product page breaks the layout (in Chrome),
and the "New iPhone 4S" ad with the lorem ipsum breaks when you click it.

Sadly, this is the first impression I'm going to take away.

Question: Can I actually by taffy at $0.0000000?

PS: Two points of precision should be enough.

2nd Question: Are you using floats for prices?

You can check out the source code that the website is based off of: https://github.com/Xenland/CheaperInBitcoins
I used a static 8points of precision to signify to international users that this isn't their native (or commonly USD) currency as well as other reasons for example that some might want to sell something for really cheap for some deal that they have going on or something that is insignificant in value, bcmath() helped shape the static 8points of precision as well.
1205  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: [ANNOUNCE]Cheaper In Bitcoins Library on: May 16, 2012, 07:25:22 AM
A fix for the login hash checking error in the CIB Library has been solved in version 0.0.35
1206  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: [ANN] Cheaper In Bitcoins opens for the public -- Beta Phase. on: May 16, 2012, 07:16:28 AM
Now that I have time to properly respond..
I will say that Cheaper In Bitcoins is going through a transition of being (Out of beta) public. By that I mean that it would be basically overly difficult to hide cheaper in bitcoins from the public while I get the merchants signed up and ready for selling. Obviously no body will purchase hershey's candy for $20 (bitcoins) thats ridicules, also about the comment about the photos not working, that goes along with what I said earlier as I stated I need to patch up photo uploading feature for the merchants and I appreciate the constructive criticism.

As of right now to make it clear: Cheaper In Bitcoins is open for public and it should be noted that it is in a beta phase for testing the over all functionality and that all sales should be considered safe and secure.

1209  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Bitcoin version of Chipin on: May 16, 2012, 12:15:04 AM
Online-Tipjar.com received an overhaul, and it is now called Propster.  It incorporates features that were asked on this forum, particularly anonymous bitcoin donations without having to register on the site.

https://propster.hypervolume.com/content/news.html

The difference between that website and bitcoinchip one is that this website doesn't need to be trusted with bitcoins -- with bitcoin chipin you type in your owned address and the funding organization is responsible for their own funds. For those that don't care about trust i guess it doesn't really matter.
1210  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Bitcoin version of Chipin on: May 16, 2012, 12:10:38 AM
Based on the graphic designers rate of progress the website should be released by the weekend.

1214  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: MMO mining pool game -- Pre-Development Phase [Looking for modelers] on: May 14, 2012, 07:42:01 AM
This project is going to need some modelers so we can have custom characters. -- Modelers wanted -- Experience in Unity3d or modeling in applications that can consistently translate to unity3d filetype, required
1215  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: We are looking for a processor that will integr. a Bitcoin solutionon on website on: May 12, 2012, 10:19:15 PM
i and many other would never pay anything available in bitcoins with any other payment option.
This.
Word.
1216  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: We are looking for a processor that will integr. a Bitcoin solutionon on website on: May 12, 2012, 08:45:53 PM
Instead of using a paypment proccessor, you can always integrate bitcoin client into your store and your customers can pay you bitcoins directly instead of being confusingly sent to another webpage.
https://github.com/Xenland/CheaperInBitcoins

Let me know if you need any assistance Cheers!
1217  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: MMO mining pool world -- Planning phase. on: May 11, 2012, 08:30:59 AM
Thinking about the pros and cons -- if worst comes to worst and I got a team and all my developers dropped off the face of the earth(<insert omni-potent entity here> forbid that wont happen to anyone).. going on the path of Unity3d would ensure the project could have a chance to completing any code contributed to the project. Unity3D it is!
Now we shall require the name of the city this story takes place...

I think i named the video game MineMMO (Pronounced Mine Mo  -- may be the 2nd version of the game can be named Mine Moar) just thought it up at the top of my head I don't mind to change it not one bit. I'm declaring this project open source on github so everyone can collaborate: https://github.com/Xenland/MineMMO
1218  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: MMO mining pool world -- Planning phase. on: May 11, 2012, 08:26:50 AM
what about building it on opensimulator ?

It furfills all the needs you meantioned its even json capable...
http://wiki.secondlife.com/wiki/User:Vegas_Silverweb/LSL_to_JSON

http://www.mining4lindens.com/ does mine bitcoins since more then a year but they pay out in linden dollars. I suggest to use p2pool! Its not realy needed to build everything again since many components for this project are allready avalable..

regards from the old miningfarm days
I'm not quite sure thats a direction that can be built upon (maybe i just don't know enough about it) -- I wouldn't know where to start or let alone lead a project for open simulator.

Theres not a minute that goes by where I'm not under the influence of psychoactives.

I'm sure that will put at ease people who invest in your projects Roll Eyes
After a year you realize the only thing people really invest in our the mining projects.... I'm not going to impress any more -- but thanks for your concern -- Your friend mind freak.
