Is this real??
Why would he ask though?
sounds like a pump imo

If you know Jeff Berwick he is a multi-millionaire bitcoin fan. I'm assuming this isn't for him but he's looking for a contact of his. He often reaches out to facebook when he needs business related help

These guys have done some TA and are buying today.

Yeah these guys...

The buy walls are building, but we still can only absorb ~ 0.1 percent of all Bitcoins in existence (12K BTC) before the plummet to $266.  Hypothetically that one guy on Bitfinex who flashed the 15K sell wall could do it by himself. He almost certainly won't, but when China goes dark, we'll find out if this is like April of last year or like June of 2011.

Is this what you're referring to? I saw 1500 BTC walls being flashed around on Bitfinex last night....but not 15K?

pics or it didnt happen!  Wink

edit: 1K BTC got pulled and the 500 wall was eaten

Everyone thinks we're due for a rally now and most people's reasoning includes that there has been a rally every 9 months. "It has happened 4 times, and now it will happen again", right?

I thought that rallies were coming less than 9 months apart..

Bitcoin rallies in a fractal pattern of bull flags, TERA you of all people know this. If we are to follow the exponential trendline the top of the next "bubble" will be reached in June-August and we should have long passed bottom. Black swan events have been extending this downtrend but honey badger may or may not give a fuck  Grin

Care to explain the logic you used to lay those lines?

1206  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: April 06, 2014, 06:25:28 PM
Need the price about $800 to reverse trend

$650 on stamp by Friday would be enough for me...we gotta go hard and fast (4 day EMA and 1 day MACD cross may trip off some bots for us Smiley)

You guys have to realize that you're not the only ones who funded this company. Ken has a financial obligation to IPO investors who believed in him long before pre-orders were being sold. His business decisions may seem strange at times but we have to remember that he is running a two-pronged business here. Many shareholders have been unhappy at times (I'll be the first to admit that), and customers have been unhappy at times. Fact of the matter is - the rain is gone. You guys will be compensated for lost time with a 250% increase in hashpower and investors will be rewarded for getting this whole thing off the ground. Mining companies have a huge conflict of interest (especially public ones)...but its just part of the business.

The farm needs to grow at 100TH+ per week.

With access to 3 PH in the coming month or two, I think it would be a bad business decision not to put up at least 1 PH by that point. especially if the plan is to solo mine ASAP like Ken has stated. Once all of our pre-order customers have been dealt with there will no longer be a conflict of interest to mine with everything we've got and put more focus on the shareholders.
1211  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: April 05, 2014, 05:41:12 PM
buy or sell walls?

Sell walls getting pulled....500 BTC on huobi disappeared after a 300 BTC wall got eaten through
1212  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: April 05, 2014, 05:32:22 PM
Walls on Huobi getting pulled...

Minerpart. I'm really drunk at the moment so I can't be too detailed. But I made a simulator in MATLAB ages ago for activemining and shareholders were always better off when money was reinvested as soon as possible.

The more coin that leaves the operation back to shareholders sooner always made the shareholders worse off in the long run.

In Ken's original post in one of the old ACTM threads he states that reinvestment/dividends will be 50/50

edit: We're supposed to have 60-100 TH/s online right now, whats going on Ken?? (I'm sure you're working hard and fast, but we've been waiting on 100TH for a few weeks now)

MAXCOIN

that is all...

Why do I have the feeling that waiting for Huobi's "bad news" is similar to the sentiment around mtgox adding LTC. Waiting for something that's "sure to happen" usually results in an unexpected outcome

Awesome, Jeff rules!

thanks
1217  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: April 05, 2014, 07:42:48 AM
I am amazed at how 5-6 dollars swings do change the sentiments here.

^This lol...

You bitches ready for Huobi round 2?? Here's hoping Stamp and BFX finally have a proper breakout

1218  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: April 05, 2014, 02:22:22 AM

1219  Economy / Speculation / Re: SecondMarket Bitcoin Investment Trust Observer on: April 04, 2014, 05:25:27 AM
2533XBT bought yesterday. This compensated the sale on 2 Apr and the estimated holding is again at an ATH of 96941XBT

where are you finding these stats? I was searching the BIT site for 15 minutes yesterday with no luck...

I'm very interested in getting a scrypt miner, but as we've seen with BTC ASICs those who bought pre-orders right at the beginning of the gold rush have been screwed over. There will be many opportunities to buy a profitable scrypt miner  Grin. I know I'll be waiting for another price rise and not getting a pre-order lol
