1201  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Have you, or would you ever use a Bitcoin ATM? on: July 03, 2023, 07:40:05 AM
Same to you.
I am a citizen of Bangladesh and in my country bitcoin has been declared completely illegal by the government and central bank. Citizens of Bangladesh cannot use Bitcoin publicly but we trade Bitcoin to my local currency "BDT" or BDT to Bitcoin through P2P trading through Binance Exchange. In this case, we use our native payment system, Nagad, Bikash, Rocket and Banking system. But if Bitcoin was legalized in our country then we could use ATM system like other countries.
It is very clear that any country that does not legalize Bitcoin cannot use a Bitcoin ATM. Those of us who could only make Bitcoin and other types of crypto as a commodity asset had a Bitcoin ATM but it has been several years since it no longer exists due to the number of users, fees and regulations.

Talking about if Bitcoin and crypto were legalized, we would also be able to use Bitcoin ATMs especially since they were already available.
Because Bitcoin ATMs are better in security even though they look like fiat Bank ATM machines.
However, considering that we both live in countries that do not legalize Bitcoin and crypto as legal means of payment, we can use an exchange that supports buying Bitcoin and crypto using a debit card.
Let's take advantage.
1202  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC Sentiment Poll for July on: July 02, 2023, 06:47:44 AM
There's a guy online who says he got some data that goes back to October 2009 and it shows that BTC's best performing month on average is July.  He also looked at the same data but just for the past 5 years and it says that BTC's best performing month is October then followed by July.

He uploaded a couple of bar charts and a line chart showing what he gathered.
Let's see together what will happen in July which is said to be the best performing month for Bitcoin price.
Not accepting a spot Bitcoin ETF by the SEC could be a challenge in terms of price action, but I feel that July will be a shining month for Bitcoin prices as the past month's price history is still very much to be hoped for.
The price of support is $30,000 and for me a good support even though later it can miss predictions.
1203  Local / Bahasa Indonesia (Indonesian) / Re: Tentang Konten Berkualitas on: July 02, 2023, 05:30:08 AM

Singkatnya, banyak membaca banyak tahu.
Sering menggunakan kecanggihan dan kehebatan teknologi bisa membuat otak kita lemah dalam menjalankan fungsinya.
1204  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Anyone knows bitstenproole.com exchange? on: July 02, 2023, 03:41:32 AM
Is this exchange  bitstenproole.com reliable to do crypto currency trading?
I have tried to search for the exchange you asked about. From what I can see, this exchange operates in the Asia region which is their center.
When I try to search with the search keyword "bitstenproole", the results appear as shown in the image.

If that's the case, then you need to be careful if you have the desire to register and make transactions

I want to convey, this topic is more suitable if the discussion is moved to the exchange board. There has become a place for discussion related to exchange.

I am aways very grateful that I am part of this community, and I don't know how my life would have been If I wasn't part this amazing community.I termed it a school due to how broad it is,and how impactful it's knowledge has been on us.So many persons started this forum knowing nothing about bitcoin, but due to the ideas, topics of discuss, and knowledge shared in this forum, they have known several things, and are also teaching other people about bitcoin. We are here to discover several other things we haven't known about bitcoin, and it is only in this Forum that we can get such information, because we have lots experienced people here.I'm glad to belong to this school of thought," Bitcointalk School of thought."
The same thing was felt by all people involved in the Bitcoutalk.org forum, namely the benefits of being able to be in this thought.
Quite a lot of knowledge can be obtained here with the diversity of mindset leads to one goal.
Almost all members here recognize the positive impacts that are received personally, especially regarding Bitcoin's knowledge.

It feels quite common to read in every benefit written in replying and quoting your topic, but yes that's the reality that may be felt by all of us who are here.
I am happy with the title Bitcointalk; a school on its own.
1206  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Don't be intimidated on: July 01, 2023, 09:03:06 AM
Dear newbies pls don't rush into making Bitcoin investments like selling a property very valuable to you just to impress on the forum or putting in your entire savings to purchasing Bitcoin I am not against making Bitcoin investments but
Before making Bitcoin investments always make sure the odds are safe for you  like some members here will say  "" make investments that will not affect you" in other words make investments with free money  except you have more profiting ideas than hodling

I am sure this is what other investors here do
Fully responsibility exists in the person who decides to make a decision in investing.
Selling valuable property to invest into Bitcoin is not a proper recommendation to do.
There are still many other ways that can be done without having to sell property to be able to invest.

From the historical data of the existing Bitcoin price, Bitcoin can be expected by people who invest to get a greater return than other types of investment carried out in the long run.
Just like you, that I will not forbid people to invest, even I encourage people to invest in bitcoin, but there are things that must be considered such as the level of risk contained therein.
1207  Local / Bahasa Indonesia (Indonesian) / Re: Tentang Konten Berkualitas on: July 01, 2023, 07:11:09 AM
OP.

1208  Other / Meta / Re: What does post quality really mean on: June 30, 2023, 01:51:36 PM
Alot of persons on this forum always advise newbies on post quality.my question is simple and on behalf of other newbies like my self is it necessary to monitor your activity and post count in comparison with your merits
The quality of the post depends on someone's point of view in judging.
For me personally, regarding the quality of posts, judging from the side of the content contained therein and how evenly the posts are made.
In addition, I also judge a post by how important the message conveyed through the post is.

You want to associate the quality of the post with the achievement that someone will get with the acquisition of merit? if yes, then show your idea with writing skills.
In terms of ranking up, a person must meet predetermined requirements such as the number of posts, activities and number of merit.
1209  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: My bitcoin transaction still unconfirmed after 20 hours , why? What can I do? on: June 30, 2023, 12:15:00 PM
I tried to transfer btc from blockchain wallet to a trust wallet but my blockchain wallet still shows Pending: 0/2 Confirmations after 20 hours passed..
Why it takes so long? What can I do?
This never happened me before.
Please help.
It lies in the fee settings when sending which makes the process slow.
If the transaction fee fee is small, then the process will also be slow to complete. That is, sooner or later the transaction process is completed depending on the amount of the fee that will be used.

If that's the case, then you have to wait. I think for now the transaction you made has been confirmed or the Bitcoin you sent has been entered.

Why did you choose Trust Wallet as a wallet to store Bitcoins when there are some better wallets to use?
Have you studied how secure Trust Wallet is before you move Bitcoin there?
1210  Economy / Speculation / Re: Buy the DIP, and HODL! on: June 30, 2023, 11:43:11 AM
In learning there are stages where each stage has its own goals that are interrelated.
Regarding risk, we can say that every business person is familiar with overcoming or managing a risk.
IMO, those who consider Bitcoin to be a disaster are very good at hiding the truth.
Forget about risk and when people walk according to the right process, then bitcoin is never a risk to invest. Price fluctuations are just a process of travel and we can avoid when setting long-term investment patterns and that makes everything riskier because someone comes to investing because they don't have knowledge. There are stages that we need to go through to make the investment bigger, the ways and strategies for each person may be different, but in essence, all of us make investments to make a profit, the size of the profit depends on the capital and how much bitcoin assets we have.
Risk should not be forgotten in all matters that will be and are being carried out by friends. Even more so in Bitcoin activity (trading or investing).

In the case of price fluctuations, you are right that it is just a normal process that occurs in the market and we can avoid or minimize it with the strategies we will use, one of which may be by using the DCA method and choosing the long term according to the target.
Likewise with the profit thing. The bigger the capital, the bigger the profit we will get.

-snip-
It seems that I agree with everything in your post, lizarder.. except I am a wee bit confused by the points that you seem to be making at the beginning of this responsive paragraph.. and you seem to be suggesting that bitcoin does not have any risk so long as you allocate in such a way that is in accordance with your own situation - but still, I am bothered by the idea that bitcoin would not be a risk - even though I agree with the overall idea that the level of risk is largely a matter of allocation levels....
It is impossible for a Bitcoin to ignore risk.
The intention may lead to a positive delivery related to the risk in question because risk should not be ignored in all activities let alone ignoring risks in dealing with Bitcoin activity.
1211  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Hold Bitcoin VS Hold Gold on: June 30, 2023, 10:51:30 AM
-snip-
Holding Bitcoin allows owners to get bigger returns.
To expect big returns on gold is rare or more likely to be a bit. To prove it, it can be seen from the gold price data on an annual basis.

From its history, we can indeed say that gold has existed since this earth existed while Bitcoin only existed in 2009 with its creator we know the name and we also know how much is available.
Gold has stable properties if used as an investment asset. Whereas Bitcoin apart from being used by many people for investment, Bitcoin is basically a type of digital currency that is decentralized as a global payment with peer-to-peer transactions as we know it so far.

- So when is the right time to buy Bitcoin?
Now.
Prepare your money and buy now before the bullish market.
Use the DCA method of buying Bitcoin if the effort you want to make is long term.

As I've said before, only greedy people don't accept Bitcoin.
Those who have never accepted Bitcoin and who do not acknowledge that Bitcoin has done so much good for people have a greater purpose behind their claim.
As wise advice, save positive energy and avoid arguing.

Bitcoin aims to provide freedom of control over assets without any control from anyone other than the owner.
A good hedge is not fiat so that smart people won't switch to fiat.
1213  Economy / Speculation / Re: Buy the DIP, and HODL! on: June 29, 2023, 03:51:04 PM

It is difficult to know what is meant by considering bitcoin as a "disaster" or a "calamity" - since there are some folks who might not know how to consider their risk and/or to attempt to manage their exposure to an asset such as bitcoin in accordance with their own particular circumstances - because bitcoin could be a disaster/calamity for any of us if we end up over investing or even under investing.  If we overinvest and then we leave our bitcoin with third parties or we try to earn yield off of our bitcoin, we may well find ourselves with way less bitcoin than we thought that we had or that we have some or all of our bitcoin locked up (bankruptcy proceedings or whatever).

-snip-
I am also surprised by those who consider Bitcoin a "disaster" or "calamity" because Bitcoin is not here to destroy but to be a differentiator in the context of giving everyone freedom to the economic system.
That's why I have the view that intelligent people who have the ability to think above average and have financial capabilities should be grateful for the presence of Bitcoin as a transparent new concept.

In learning there are stages where each stage has its own goals that are interrelated.
Regarding risk, we can say that every business person is familiar with overcoming or managing a risk.
IMO, those who consider Bitcoin to be a disaster are very good at hiding the truth.

Thank you friend.
That's fine and I'm not offended at all because I really appreciate every opinion.
The purpose that underlies me in making this topic is to make it easier for beginners to discuss wallets, although there are several discussions about wallets that have been discussed separately.

Behind the absence of anything unique in your opinion, I feel confident that beginners will be helped by the information that will be generated through the discussion here.

Reasons like this are quite logical for those who will definitely continue to hinder bitcoin. Indeed, for us bitcoin can be said to be one of the gifts but for some people who have other interests this could be one of the calamities for them.
Groups that might consider a disaster are those who are very interested in having Bitcoin in large quantities.
Usually people with such thoughts have better knowledge than us so they have their own way of being able to get assets that we consider a gift.

I just mention here that some people who consider the presence of Bitcoin as a disaster are government officials who are anti-Bitcoin, bankers who continue to voice that Bitcoin is not good as an investment asset and so on.
Those I mean as people who have more knowledge about the greatness of Bitcoin who want to collect as much as possible in their portfolio list.
1217  Local / Trading dan Spekulasi / Re: [DISKUSI] Trading Harian, Mingguan & Bulanan on: June 28, 2023, 06:36:31 AM

Great idea if the OP wants to actually do it and is also willing to make the sacrifice of paying an expert in the field to do a comic about simple knowledge of bitcoin. And it would also be an advantage if OP could print lots of bitcoin comics and promote them to bitcoin users for their kids.
if you want to make it as fast as possible I suggest making it yourself, I'm sure you can draw and you don't need to be good at drawing, the important thing is that it's interesting and easy to understand when children read and you only need a drawing book and colored pencils to make it.
OP wanted to get an answer where he could buy Bitcoin comic books because he thought the next approach that would be made was to children at family gatherings.
From his explanation, he does not have the expertise to make comics so he needs to buy.
Some give advice to check the nearest bookstore and some give the alternative to make your own like me with the intention of writing a script about Bitcoin that is known and then submitting it to someone who accepts comic making services.
This is a complicated thing. Meanwhile, with the availability of comics about Bitcoin, according to him, it is more practical.

Other alternatives as you said include good suggestions in my opinion, at least with coloured pencils and drawing books can be used as a tool for initial approach to children when the moment occurs before getting ready-made comics available for purchase.

Suggesting investing in shitcoin many people will say that it's the worst advice even though shitcoin is also part of crypto.
Those who suggest investing in shitcoins may only be knowledgeable about shitcoins and those coins that don't have a solid foundation.
Their job is to suggest, while the job of people hearing such suggestions is to study and find out more about the suggested object, starting with its advantages and disadvantages.

-snip-

I may not be the right person for investment advice that's why I'm asking everyone to share their advice, views and knowledge incase something like this should come up, so people could learn and no what must be done before going into investment.
I often get posts that contain the best ideas for those who are new to the investment world.
What, Who, Where, When, Why, and How are guidelines for someone before starting investing and other work.

I'm new here and happy to be part of this community, hopefully, to gain more knowledge about BTC and cryptocurrency, hope I'm in the right place.
I'm still trying to study how things work here.
Please, I would like to get your advice.
Like interacting in real life that there are things that must be considered so that we can be well received in the surrounding environment and there are things that must be avoided so that they don't hate us.
If we have children or we are children, there are definitely rules that we must obey. Likewise in this forum there are rules.

The goal is to increase knowledge about Bitcoin and crypto in general, by reading more articles on Google and in other browsers we can get it, but we can get this knowledge [Bitcoin and cryptocurrency] by joining this forum.
You will get lots of tips and the Beginners board is the favorite board for many beginners, including me.
