Introduction

In general, many people are familiar with the name Crypto and when they hear Crypto, they immediately go to Bitcoin.
Cryptocurrency based on definitions from several sources is a digital currency that can be used as a means of transaction between the first party (owner) and the second party (recipient) without the need to involve a third party.

In every activity of storing, sending and receiving, users need a wallet to be able to get addresses or addresses that are private and public.
A wallet is the first step or stage that every user must have in starting activities with Bitcoin such as storing, sending and receiving Bitcoin.

There are several types of Bitcoin wallets such as;
1. Software Wallet or Software Wallet. A wallet that is obtained by downloading and installing the application on Windows or Linux on a computer and/or laptop.

2. Hardware Wallet or Hardware Wallet. This wallet is a wallet that is used physically.

As explained by the Software Wallet above, there are also two versions of the Bitcoin Wallet.
1. The first version of Desktop Wallet and
2. Mobile Version (Android, iOS).

Objective

The purpose behind this topic is not only to make it easier for beginners to choose a wallet, but also to provide information through discussion rooms about bitcoin wallets.

List of Wallet Names

Here are some lists of Software Wallets or Software Wallets;

1. Bitcoin Core (desktop version)

Bitcoin Core is a full Bitcoin client and is built as the backbone of the network. Provides high security, privacy and stability. However, it has fewer features and requires a lot of storage space and memory.

2. Electrum (mobile version available)

Electrum is one of the most popular Bitcoin wallets. Electrum is fast, safe, and easy to use.

android | iOS

3. Mycelium (mobile version available)

This wallet gives you complete control over your bitcoins. This means no third party can freeze or lose funds.

android | iOS

4. Samourai (mobile version available)

Samourai Wallet is a bitcoin app that respects privacy. Among the technologies created to increase privacy is a single wallet for android. The ease of their program comes from the fact that it can be used offline without registering an e-mail account or submitting identification documentation.

android | iOS

5. Blue Wallet (mobile version available)

Bluewallet is a Bitcoin wallet focused on security Open source, Segwit wallet and HD Wallet, Lightning Network and full encryption.

android | iOS

6. Wasabi Wallet

Wasabi is an open-source, non-custodial, privacy focused Bitcoin wallet on Windows, Linux as well as Mac. Built with anonymous network, CoinJoin and coin management features.

7. Edge

Edge is compatible for segwit, this Bitcoin wallet for mobile has a high level of privacy, security and decentralization which is more popular for use by many people. The Edge wallet will always be encrypted, backed up, even if the Edge server is down.

android | iOS

8. Sparrow Wallet

Sparrow is a Bitcoin wallet with a focus on security, privacy and usability. Sparrow supports single and multisig script types, connects to Electrum or Bitcoin Core servers, interacts with popular hardware wallets, provides full coin and fee control, and contains a transaction editor and blockchain explorer.

android | iOS

9. Unstoppable Wallet

Unstoppable is a non-custodial and intuitive mobile wallet for Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies. This wallet packs several essential features to store, exchange and monitor the performance of cryptocurrencies while remaining private.

android | iOS

10. Zeus Wallet

Zeus is an open source non-custodial Bitcoin wallet that gives you complete control over how you make payments.

etc ...

For each wallet that I mentioned above, it has its own advantages and users also have their own judgments about using it.

To install on windows desktop or MacOs, it's better to visit the official link of each wallet to download it.

Suggestion

It should be noted by every beginner who wants to do activities with Bitcoin that there are several things that are very important to note in choosing a wallet for the convenience of assets such as;
1. Choose an Open Source wallet,
2. Choose a MultiSign wallet,
3. Backup feature.
4. RBF features.
5. And some other things

If there are other suggestions that can be of benefit to beginners, we welcome them.

Closing

In the end I would like to say that if there are deficiencies and errors in the delivery, I hope they can be corrected to be improved so that it is useful for all.
All explanations about wallets that OP mentioned here are the source of each wallet.

Your mentioned wallets are already being talked in your provided references so as per the objective heading, the main purpose of the topic will be discussion about your mentioned wallets? Right? As, I found no other useful information which is unique to anyone. As, every wallet is being mentioned on this platform so many times. I hope you would not mind my words which might be wrong too.

I think it would be nice if you could come up with some more unique and useful information other than repeating the features of wallets from their summaries. Well, as the purpose heading indicates, intentions are to help newbies, but in my POV, newbies do not come this deep into the forum because newbies to btt and crypto sphere too.

Thank you friend.
That's fine and I'm not offended at all because I really appreciate every opinion.
The purpose that underlies me in making this topic is to make it easier for beginners to discuss wallets, although there are several discussions about wallets that have been discussed separately.

Behind the absence of anything unique in your opinion, I feel confident that beginners will be helped by the information that will be generated through the discussion here.

Wasabi is an open-source, non-custodial, privacy focused Bitcoin wallet on Windows, Linux as well as Mac. Built with anonymous network, CoinJoin and coin management features.
Wasabi wallet is not privacy focused and of recent they have been caught out to be doxxing their users based on their judgement. This is a very wrong practice and breaks the privacy and decentralization of the wallet.
It is also not anonymous if they are linking on chain information to real life identities.

So what we have are just the common talking points about the available Bitcoin software wallets. If this is a discussion, then I would love to see more details and opinions about the wallet or how the wallet rates against the others, popularity etc

For example, very many members here would agree with me that wasabi would not be the kind of wallet you would recommend someone, as they even blacklist UTXO's.
walletscrutiny.com for example gives one a good guide and groups wallets based on the important features users would love in an open source non-custodial wallet.

Wasabi Wallet offers questionable privacy and there are a lot of discussions about it here https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5286821.0
sparrowwallet is not a wallet for Android, but for desktop. You can download it from here https://sparrowwallet.com/download/

You need to create tables to make this topic attractive, if you are interested you can copy and modify my table here and PM me if you need any help.

I don't get it: why do you link bitcoin.org as the source for Bitcoin Core, when the native site for Bitcoin Core is only https://bitcoincore.org. The Core devs have no access whatsoever to bitcoin.org which is merely a bad mirror of bitcoincore.org.

There's no iOS version of Electrum. OK, you fortunately don't mention a false link to some imposter app.

Your list seems utterly mobile device centric. At least, that's my perception, but I could be wrong.

Do you really think it is a good idea to have wallets with more than pocket money on a mobile device? Mobile devices are easily lost, are saught by thieves, are notoriously used with a lot of privacy depriving apps, ...
And because most people do a lot of their daily shit on their mobile devices, those are likely exposed to all kind of bad bugs and security flaws in mobile device's OS and apps.

I tend to agree with you but mobile wallets are useful as watch-only devices. You can monitor your wallets and generate addresses on-the-go. Apart from that, I can agree to everything you said.

Actually, Devs have/had access to it but they moved the hosting of the release binaries to bitcoincore.org
in their effort to separate the "Bitcoin" from the "Software".
(prob. for better decentralization)

But yes, OP is wrong to link Bitcoin Core to bitcoin.org since they've stopped releasing new releases there since version 22.0.

I would suggest removing Wasabi from the list due to policy regarding UTXOs, which necessitates their consideration by the wallet coordinator. In this system UTXOs are not  regarded  equally in terms of their   rights on mixing.

This issue has sparked discussion in our forum, leading to an appeal to sign petition for the removal of Wasabi from recommended wallets on bitcoin.org.

Instead of Wasabi I recommend directing users towards AirGap Vault, which seems to be suitable and reliable choice.

It's the first time I've heard of this service, the attached table is a little misleading, and the name as well, since using the wallet use will determine whether it's airgapped or offline, it would have been better for them to choose another name, but other than that, it offers an experience that we can consider safe for beginners.

My problem is that using an old phone as AirGap Vault is not an ideal experience because these phones may stop at any moment, but if you have a phone that you do not want to use and disconnect the physicals network parts properly, you will get a safe experience.

I will try it later but it is good and can be added to the list.

Worth mentioning Railway, which is plugged into the Railgun Privacy protocol on Polygon, Ethereum etc.

Not for native bitcoin, but does allow you to anonymously trade with wBTC.

So for instance after bridging to Polygon or Ethereum you deposit your wBTC into Railway which then gives you access to all of the liquidity on the chain via private dex trades. So private swap your wBTC into USDT, Dai etc and you can withdraw that to a fresh wallet and do whatever DeFi you wish.

Whilst it isn't a mixer per se it also allows a simple round trip from Bitcoin -> Polygon -> Fresh wallet -> Fresh Bitcoin wallet therefore anonymising your bitcoin.

Fees are 0.25% per transaction... So a deposit, dex trade ( which is both a withdrawal and a deposit of the swapped token) then a withdrawal would add up to about 1% + gas fees, which are negligible on Polygon and maybe a couple of hundred $s on Ethereum.

That is the purpose of a written backup that should be safely stored somewhere. If the phone for cold storage stops working, the funds would not be lost because there is backup to recover the funds.

There is no native or non-native BTC. It is just BTC, and if it isn't BTC then it is an altcoin.

What I am trying to say is that these old devices, and because of their use or neglect for long periods, the possibility of failure in them is higher than the wallets of traditional devices, and therefore you either need to use a new phone, which means a greater cost, or re-install the wallet every time because of the high probability of failure of the old devices. I suspect that it is easy to convert new devices to airgapped because these devices are deeply designed to facilitate Internet connection and calls.

Not for native bitcoin,
Well, that doesn't fall into the bitcoin wallet category no matter how hard you try to explain its advantages. So, keep that name out of the discussion.

Your new phone system may freeze, latest OS version errors affecting hardware components etc. Actually, this is only a small concern compared to the majority of cases of damage to the device that the users themselves did. However, mobile devices aren't ideal for cold storage because of their intensity and interval of use.
