@tarmi...now what?

now is time to place some juicy bids near 220 mark!

because bullish.
1203  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin 20MB Fork on: February 11, 2015, 11:30:24 AM
while we are talking alts - does a faster blocktime result in a higher tps?

would it be 28 tps for litecoin for example?

Correct, assuming that Lee did not change the MAX_BLOCK_SIZE constant for LTC.
Note that the 7 tps was an early estimate, whereas 2.7 tps is being seen on existing ~1MB Bitcoin blocks, which means ~11 tps for Litecoin, assuming also that they will have larger tx from P2SH and some 2.0 data storage.

The fact that LTC has a 4x higher tps than BTC should be ringing alarm bells for the "keep-1MB" people (those who actually like Bitcoin, not the pro-alt-coin kill-bitcoin shills).

if so, care to elaborate why ltc is only 1/100th of bitcoin price even if it has a 4x higher tps number?

gentlemen, I was not talking about 700 coins (that wall will get bigger dont you worry), but the fact that you need to scoop up 5 k of cheap coins for 225.
1206  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: February 11, 2015, 10:51:44 AM

bear whales will have to risk more if they want to start a panic sell

no problemo

Page 11337?

Not quite the same as 1337 but I was here for that too.

I see we had a foolish 12k dump on Finex that dropped the price about 1%. LOL

Back to bed.

And not even a reason for which it's been dumped...

I will give you a reason > freshly mined coins.

Coins are freshly mined every 10 minutes, your point?

right.

and when you see in a long bear market a spike in difficulty of 5 + % it means that there are still some miners out there who have the incentive to expand their mining operations.

which means that they are still very profitable hence the dump of freshly mined coins.

Most stolen coins have already been sold. Why do you think the price has gone down for over a year?

money is missing, not coins.

Why does everyone keep attacking stamp?

If you don't trust the exchange, don't use it.

Spreading FUD and comparing it to gox doesn't help the situation, it only causes more panic..

or maybe that's their angle  Roll Eyes

there's so many selfish traders around these days, and it's really sad.

-Hacked and robbed
-Banking problems
-Weird trading moves and super low volume beside those moves

I have seen this pattern before. If it walks, talks and speaks like a Gox then there is a chance that it might be become one.
Good thing is that they donīt nearly have that much money from traders on their exchange.

Conclusion: Bullish
 Smiley

now, that is what bulls are trying: to discredit bitstamp and make a run for the coins on the exchange that is out of fiat, not coins.

fiat on chinese/bitfinex exchanges that are trading junk bitcoin derivatives is a sort of abstract category.

so silent here...

dump impending?

Watch out for the  dump alt for btc wave. Btc/USD will head up.

why are you so persistent in trading BTC/$ pair by looking at some altcoin trash ?

That is what you need to see to catch the next train.

I personally consider altcoins a form of bitcoin junk derivatives.

you wont see any train departing till new money jumps in, and the money in alts is not new at all, on the contrary: that is old money trying to get out.

so all altcoins do is preventing us from finding the real bottom.
The real bottom is when people stop falling for the scam that btc is worthless. And you are seeing that this past two weeks.

no, that is called price discovery.

The dump3er guy tells you: Sub 100 is coming. When? Soon...
Was the dump3er wrong before, when he said "This shit is crashing hard"?! No!
Was the the dump3er wrong when he said "Buy this bull trap now and sell it to inca on the top"? No!

If you are not listening to the dump3er you will be a dead astronaut!

Surrender, you maggots! Bow before the dump3er!

Bitcoin production costs is above $100. So forget sub $100 bitcoins.

you can always hit the switch to turn the useless hardware off if you are inefficient.

hence the difficulty adjustments.
1219  Economy / Speculation / Re: Spent over 1000USD on: February 05, 2015, 10:57:22 PM
Heres a reminder what happened in 2011. Bitcoin died then too.

Sweet memories Cheesy I bought my first bitcoins at the price of 4.5$ after the 2011 crash. To extrapolate, the next bubble will compare to 2013 one like Canis Majoris to Sun.

if you are waiting for the next bubble and you bought at 4.5 $ you are doing it wrong!
1220  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: February 05, 2015, 10:28:47 PM
sorry guys, but the real crash is yet to be seen.

with all those bitcoin derivative trash, p&d altcoins, mining bubbles, bitcointalk ponzi schemes, bulltard trolls and scammy exchanges in place you need several rounds of really hard dumping to find the real bottom.

the one to 150 is the first and genuine step in the right direction.

I know it is customary to talk ones book in this place but you're getting a bit obvious. I often find your comments somewhat insightful, but this is just twaddle.

there is no book.

I am buying all the dips and cashing out all the rebounds since we broke 380.

that is all.

So you have no coins currently but want to buy some at a lower price?

I have a small mining operation that I made out of thin air (trading + cheap electricity), that is still profitable and it will continue to be till we hit 100 $.

so I dont give a shit what will happen.

I am here for the lulz.
