sorry guys, but the real crash is yet to be seen.

with all those bitcoin derivative trash, p&d altcoins, mining bubbles, bitcointalk ponzi schemes, bulltard trolls and scammy exchanges in place you need several rounds of really hard dumping to find the real bottom.

the one to 150 is the first and genuine step in the right direction.

I know it is customary to talk ones book in this place but you're getting a bit obvious. I often find your comments somewhat insightful, but this is just twaddle.

I am buying all the dips and cashing out all the rebounds since we broke 380.

Remember all but a select few on this thread are retail playing with peanuts and leverage.

All it takes is a few consecutive 'short all the rallies!' attempts ending in margin calls and the attitude in here will change on a dime.

The only thing that can bring a solid sustainable uptrend (and not just a temporary short squeeze that will end in tears soon after anyway) is a constant influx of new money flowing in exchanges. Big demand.

These short squeezes are >40% swings! You catch a couple of those a year and who gives a rat's ass if we ever get a new ATH? If you have the balls to short half way down to the next long squeeze as well, then you can bloody well quit your day job.

I'm getting fed up with these self-appointed oracles of doom who think that just because they can spot a year long downtrend that they somehow have figured it all out, and that pissing on everyone else is an act of benevolence. You don't need much of a pair to say stuff might go further down, but if you're loading some cahones (or huge clit, I guess) you might have a stab at spotting the bottom.

I have a small mining operation that I made out of thin air (trading + cheap electricity), that is still profitable and it will continue to be till we hit 100 $.

so I dont give a shit what will happen.

It looks like we're going for a retest of the bottom, maybe go a bit lower and form a bullish divergence there. In 2011 we also saw a retest of the $2 bottom on much lower volume, sellers were exhausted and buyers were too scared to buy so that created a really nice bullish divergence. We may see history repeating, at least that's what I'm betting on right now.

The only way is up then.

Long are super cheap right now, like half the previous low. Shorts are getting cheaper, but still not that low.

I agree, but my dwindling cojones don't like the fact that recent movements look remarkably similar to those in November. Even volume is comparable if you think dollars. But the ManBearWhale battle at $300 had a pungent whiff of fake bottom all along. This time it looks more organic. It almost looks like people like buying bitcoins at around $200.

Well, that's the thing. And several fairly decent people slip up from time to time or simply don't have problem with trolls. However, my original proposal was just a thought experiment in economics. One of the virtues of economical liberalism is its ability to turn selfish a-holes into productive members of society. If we could use trolls to send us to the moon and beyond it would truly be revolutionary for the decentralized digital economy.
