12021  Bitcoin / Meetups / Re: Bitcoin 2014 in Amsterdam on: April 23, 2014, 10:48:18 AM
it's about 400 euros

That's ridiculous. 400 euros just to attend or to actually have a booth or something there?

Yeah, I could get flights and hotel to Amsterdam for that.
12022  Other / Off-topic / Re: Where are you from? on: April 23, 2014, 10:24:05 AM
The Kingdom of the United.

Didn't see a thread like this anywhere, just generally curious where everyone on this forum is from.

Finland here, what about you guys/girls?Smiley

what you want after asking this question to members of forum . is it any idea in your mind Smiley

He's probably just interested (or more probably not really that interested and just making a thread for the fun of it).

12024  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Overview of Signature-Ad Campaigns on: April 23, 2014, 09:25:32 AM
This thread is very useful but now many peoples going against these signature campaigns because too much spamming and most of talk useless
Yup, I'm afraid we might see an abrupt end to this.
Is there is any thread shouting against it in recent times..? I would like to hear what others have to say..!

Well when there are they're in Meta, so just check there, but it's always the same argument from both sides.
12025  Other / Off-topic / Re: Movie Recommendation Station on: April 23, 2014, 08:29:20 AM
The Gods must be crazy series is terrific and never seems dated...

I second that. Just watched it yesterday on some movie channel and still manages to make me laugh even after having it watched a few times already.

The 1980 film? There's a series?
12026  Other / Off-topic / Re: loose != lose on: April 23, 2014, 07:43:56 AM
A few regular grammatical things that make me cringe every time I see them used:

- Loose instead of Lose
- Lagg instead of Lag
- Your instead of You're
- many more I can't think of off the top of my head.

My most hated reply to this is:

"Lol it's the internet, who cares?" like somehow typing words on the internet invalidates the use of grammar or spelling.

Lol it's the internet, who cares?  Grin
12027  Other / Off-topic / Re: TV Series Recommendations... on: April 23, 2014, 07:41:41 AM
Game of Thrones is goooooood. Cheesy

It is the best season i have seen so far .

Really?   IMO it has started off kind of slow... it was cool when the King got killed that guy was so annoying.  Just watching him made me cringe

this season is supposed to be the best, since it follows the 3rd (best one) so far in the series. after this season, the story goes downhill i hear.. i only got up to book 3.

Tonight's episode of Fargo was really good. I am really impressed with that show so far... The dreams is good with just enough dark comedy.

i will have to check it out.. didn't like the original movie much, but i recently told myself to re-watch again... since i didn't "get" what the big lebowski was about about, and eventually.. during a not so sober situation, i totally "got it" and it just blew my mind.

Honestly the movie came out so long ago, and I remember thinking it was pretty good, but not understanding all the rave reviews. But this show is good. At least 8 out of 10, and i am a tough scorer.

The Cohen Brothers films are always overrated. Haven't seen the TV series yet though.
12028  Other / Off-topic / Re: Movie Recommendation Station on: April 23, 2014, 07:38:01 AM
Really enjoyed Captain Phillips. I thought Tom Hank's was great in it. Gonna watch Cloud Atlas tomorrow and see how he is in that.

Captain Phillips was really good.   I still haven't had enough time to watch Cloud Atlas...I want to though

I enjoyed Captain Phillips. Thought Hanks was ok in it, but the last part after he's in shock almost choked me up haha. Thought he was great in that part. I've still yet to see Cloud Atlas but I'm not looking forward to it as the book was confusing as fuck and people say the same about the film. Hopefully it'll be easier to understand than the novel though.

Some people have suggested that the movie is less confusing than the book. If you have read the book, it should be easier for you to understand the movie, which was not the case with me LOL

I wouldn't be so sure about that haha. I had little to no idea what was going on.

I haven't seen Forest Gump nor Angels & Demons, but the Da Vinci code was shit and I loved the book.

I'm plesantly surprised there's so many non-drinkers.

Where's the time-stamped pictures? Scammer or not everthing about this looks like you are one. Provide pictures and agree to escrow and all doubt will be removed (or proved if you don't Smiley).
12031  Other / Off-topic / Re: Drank all the milk from a coconut...opened it up and it was full of fungus on: April 23, 2014, 01:07:33 AM
What kind of coconut are you drinking? After you get it from the coconut three drink the coconut milk immediately.

The tree? Most people don't have access to them straight off the tree, but I wish I did. I'll be sure to try one when I'm in a country that produces them though.

Honestly, I take my total post count and take off 15%, that's usually fair estimate.

How does that work if Ritz's payments are automatic?

I have no clue, I guess its there problem? Just noticed that, assumed that you would PM them like I did with Stuna. Thought enrollment was automatic....

Best PM him in advance then telling him to auto deduct 15% from your total Wink haha.

Haha or naw  Cheesy
Ritz's payment isn't 'automatic', he checks posts and pays for the constructive ones. The enrolling however is done automatically, and there's no need to PM him anything.

Are you 100% sure about that? And how does he check them?
No, I'm not 100% sure about that, but he has never claimed to have an automatic payment, but he does claim to check for non constructive posts. So from my point of view it's a safe assumption to make.

It seems pretty automatic to me. Did you or anyone have any money deducted from your last payment? And of course he's going to say they check. It's just an attempt to scare users into not spamming. He's not going to go through every post unless he's got a bot that does that too.

It all depends on how easily butthurt you become. Really irks me when people call someone a troll just because they've lost an argument. It's also sometimes really hard to tell the difference between a troll and an infinite retard though.

Definitely is a word that people can never seem to spell.
Luckily this forum has a built in spell correct! Cheesy
But it's a hard word for some reason.

Built in spell check? Definitely is a word many people tend to fuck up colossally and in many ways. Defiantly, definately, definatly etc.
12036  Other / Off-topic / Re: How can "black markets" be considered safe? on: April 23, 2014, 12:47:26 AM

The guy probably wasnt legit. Saying yoiu have a contact in the Usgov sounds a bit simple,

And they can only track certain mail. They wont be able to track a random letter or package without knowing about it and intercepting it first.

What if the Feds buys from the same guy a couple of times? Then they can just tell the postal service to call them when they see a package with their adress on.
Of course they cannot track the guy immediately, but it's a lead.

That's what usually happens in a sting. And are you thinking about purchasing a green card but worried you'll get caught? Haha
12037  Other / Off-topic / Re: Where do billionaires keep their money? on: April 23, 2014, 12:45:23 AM
They keep them in many places.  Wasn't it Mitt Romney that forgot to report like 3 million he had in a swiss bank account?  Money in so many places you forget about it, like one would forget they had $20 in their coat pocket.
Wish I had problems like that, lol.

Yeah, not when the IRS comes after you for 'forgetting' to pay all that tax you're evading and throw you in jail. I'm taking Romney didn't get any jail time though given the fact that he's Mitt Romney?

12039  Other / Off-topic / Re: How can anyone claim that their religion is moral? on: April 23, 2014, 12:38:32 AM
I think a lot of people who commit 'evil' acts think they're acting morally. Like light said it's perception. Most religions have 'good' morals but then contradict them massively. Though shall not kill... Unless you're a homosexual or adulterer etc.
12040  Other / Off-topic / Re: How has Harry Potter infiltrated your daily life? on: April 23, 2014, 12:35:00 AM
I've only watched the first two or tree movies, and stopped because of it was becoming more and more ridiculous, Maybe also moving from teenage to adulthood has also something to do with it, But I respect the fact that you like the books and the movie, I might give the movie another shot and try to finish them all a Sunday afternoon

In one evening? There's like 8 of them or something or do you mean the remaining ones you havent seen.. Most films I've ever watched in a day was three and it's exhausting.

I watched four once but you do feel drained after. It's not uncommon for me to watch two films back to back and even that can be tiring. Not good to sit in front of tv continually for that long especially without breaks either.
