I really wish that the OP or some moderators would go ahead and lock this thread.  Anyone who still doesn't know if "martingale really works" after 95 pages of discussion is just not going to learn anything because a few more paid posters add their 2 satoshis.  This thread gets brought back from the dead twice a year and nothing new is ever actually added.

Yes, for people who have read this thread already there is almost nothing new everytime the thread is brought back. But we shouldn't forget about newcomers. I think almost everybody who start gambling comes to idea of martingale in one form or another. It happened to me too some time ago. I thought martingale was my invention.  Grin

So for the sake of newcomers I think this thread should not be locked ever....but that's just my opinion of course.
12022  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin vs Dollar on: March 11, 2016, 09:45:03 AM
Dollar currently represent an important world of the financial world overall and I think it is not totally fair to compare it with bitcoin which is still on the rise, I think both dollar and bitcoin can coexist together easily.

I agree. There is no need to choose either Dollar or Bitcoin, they can be used both whenever it is more appropriate. IMO Bitcoin has already proved that it can be used at least on the same level as Dollar in the future? and some people, including me, think that Bitocion is even better.
12023  Economy / Gambling / Re: How to earn bitcoins auto pilot on: March 10, 2016, 09:09:37 AM
i saw in youtube, they make a video about a autopilot freebitco.in, but play auto bets setting like in the video help but i lost all bitcoin, but why they bitcoin is grow up

freebitco.in used to be a nice site, but not anymore IMO.

1. They lowered the minimum reward from $0.002 to $0.001

2. In the past you were able to win $0.02 or even $0.2 sometimes but in the last few months it is always $0.001

To multiply your BTC on freebitco.in was always a bad idea because they have huge house edge, which is 5%.
12024  Economy / Economics / Re: Isn't it important for crypto currency that Bitcoin is the one? on: March 10, 2016, 08:36:36 AM

Isn't it important for crypto currency to succeed that Bitcoin is the one?  From a store of value point of view lets say something else takes over, well then crypto will have a harder time of more people putting money into it if their money can be devalued.

Bitcoin is the first one to be a crypto currency,if it werent for bitcoin there wont be any alt coin showing up.
Bitcoin is the one and only currency that has a real value other than those alt thats showing up lately.

I disagree with this. I think Litecoin, Dogecoin, Dash and maybe some others have a real value too. I also think Bitcoin is the best but we shouldn't underestimate other useful currencies.
12025  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Gay marriage will destabilise family life on: March 10, 2016, 08:10:03 AM
I'm straight and married and as far as I'm concerned, if two gay people want to get married, that's their business.  It's hard to criticize when a large percentage of traditional marriages end in divorce and there are a lot of other heterosexual relationships that produce children out of wedlock.

My Thoughts Exactly! Thank you! I was planning to say almost the same words. We would have the right to be against the gay marriage only if all the heterosexual marriages were perfect. But since they are like Hell mostly why should we oppose something different?
12026  Economy / Gambling / Re: I left primedice running and found a good strategy. on: March 09, 2016, 04:22:33 PM
I accidently left the primedice autobet running.

It went from 0.00000400BTC to 0.00001750BTC in 5 minutes.

My stragety.
On win = return to base bet
On lose = double bet amount
base bet = 0.00000010BTC

This was rater interesting.

Looks like a troll post to me. Especially when you look at the profit in 5 minutes: 0.00001750BTC is $0,007315. This is less than 1 cent ffs!

But on the other hand I think this way of gambling is the only safe way to gamble: you just start from the faucet and then try all strategies you want. So good job OP, keep it up. )
12027  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Domain for 5000 $ !!!!! on: March 09, 2016, 03:58:41 PM
Wait, but were they actually sold for that price? I seriously doubt that. You can announce any price you want but the question is who will buy for that price. I'm surprized they didn't set the price to $50k or $500k  Smiley
12028  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How much can you earn with gambling? on: March 09, 2016, 03:50:17 PM
there are two possibility as always as you put loosing first ,gambling is not secure at all
so it is better to start trading or invest than gambling .

IMO trading and investing are also as risky as gambling. That's why if you want to invest some of your money do it like when gambling only with amount you can afford to lose.

@OP When you start thinking that you can earn with gambling you might end up losing everything you have so be careful.
12029  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Who will be the next president ? Poll on: March 09, 2016, 03:34:31 PM
I voted: Hilary Clinton, but I don't think Trump has no chances to be the next president. The thing is his campaign is aimed on uneducated people mostly who are ready to believe that making America great again is so easy and simple as he puts it. I hope he won't win, but well ... time will tell.
12030  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: Mining farm in Romania on: March 09, 2016, 08:57:04 AM
Hi guys. We did this interview with a mining facility in Romania. Now, we had some technical difficulties with the sound, and yea...I know it s not our best work. I just wanted to show you this cooling system they had, I thought that in spite of the video not looking at its best it s still something that might get you interested.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UZHM8-3RxF4

So how is it going now? A lot of time passed since the video was posted and it's interesting to know how was the progress.

English subtitles are loading without any problems now btw, idk why me and some others had problems at first.
12031  Economy / Economics / Re: Why You Should Never Sell Your Bitcoins Ever on: March 09, 2016, 08:41:47 AM
The bitcoin is gonna increase to a high amount for sure, so selling them now would be stupid in my opinion.
Also think about the fact the bitcoin is the future of all currency's , everything is gonna be digital.

the Bitcoin price is still quite low. I think it is forming a base now, which is around $400. So it is better not to sell.

No way the base for Bitcoin is around $400. It is around $500 and you'll see it yourself pretty soon. If the base were around $400 like you said then it is time to sell now because it is still over $400, but I don't think that anyone who is selling now will be satisfied with his decision in the future.
12032  Economy / Gambling / Re: Primedice.com | Most Popular & Trusted Bitcoin Game | Huge Community | Free BTC on: March 09, 2016, 08:36:05 AM
A Note to All Primedice Users:

Please be aware that as of late there has been someone sending PMs to people to check some kind of response on BitcoinTalk with a link, however the link is fake and a phishing attempt to steal your credentials.  If you are PMed something like this, DO NOT use that link to log in and please tell a Moderator so we can mute the user(s) spreading the links!

It seems they've created a copy of bitcointalk.org that uses an uppercase "i" instead of an "L".

Please double or even triple check URLs sent you to via PM and always verify the source!  If someone unknown is claiming to have sent you something on BitcoinTalk, chances are it could be one of these phishing attempts.

If you have already fallen prey to this by mistake:  Your best shot is resetting all your passwords, or at least the ones you used to log into their fake site with.  Also be sure to report them to any Moderator or Admin in chat!

Thanks for the info! Yeah sometimes loging on a copy of a site cause problems in the future. Guys, never ever use links sent to you by PM. They will steal your login and password, then immediately log in the proper site with them and then change password and then you can't do anything to get your account back. You can try though but it's very complicated.
12033  Other / Off-topic / Re: What is your plan to get rich with Bitcoin? on: March 09, 2016, 08:24:53 AM
For me just keep it, just curious with how E currency can go heh.
I feel is a bit difficult to get rich with bitcoin, unless you have at least 100 btc, then ya it makes a difference if price go up. (And a lost of course if it go down.)
Yeah maybe you're right, everyone has a richness of its own targets. I actually consider myself rich if every week I was able to collect as much as 0.2 bitcoin. If it happens I've meganggap myself rich  Cheesy

Good for you that you manage to make 0.2 BTC per week, I make the same amount per month so far, but yes I'm planning to get rich with Bitcoin. Even just holding it you become rich with time because in the future Bitcoin will cost much more than it is now.
12034  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: Build small Mining for experience BTC on: March 08, 2016, 06:12:02 PM
For testing, I would go for those small usb asics, you can have a bunch of them running on the same or multiple usb hubs.
You will not make that much, but it's quite fun to do.

I agree, they cost around $20 as far as I remember, and yes you couldn't mine a lot with them but this is definitely fun.

And you will not have all those problems with noise and heat which users of the "normal" miners have.
12035  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Why voting for the liar? on: March 08, 2016, 06:05:54 PM
Here are the profiles of Sanders and Trump on Politifact.

Tell me just one thing you Trumpers, how do you justify that nearly 80% of what Trump says is at least mostly false?

http://www.politifact.com/personalities/donald-trump/

http://www.politifact.com/personalities/bernie-s/

Is there any justification for that?

All politicians are liars IMO, to an extent of course. But we should go and vote for some of them because we don't want to live in chaos. So the question is not who is telling the truth and who is a liar, but who of them lies less.
12036  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are you holding your bitcoin for a price increase? on: March 08, 2016, 01:48:12 PM
Besides just looking at the graphs and stats, i think we are due for an increase soon. I think 2016 will be a big year for bitcoin, so im holding mine, and im sure most people are doing the same.

I think you are right. At least in my case you are, I am holding mine and yes I think 2016 will be a good year for Bitcoin. We all wait for $500 by summer but I don't think it will stop there. I predict that Bitcoin will be increasing in its value 25%-30% each year.
12037  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What are your gambling stats? (Profit/Loss) on: March 08, 2016, 01:46:52 PM
I lost around $40, I mean I lost more of course but there were winnings too so in total I'm at minus $40. Considering the fact that I'm gambling almost two years I think it's okay. For me gambling is fun, not the way to make money.
12038  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is bitcoin being used for illegal activities on: March 08, 2016, 01:00:47 PM
I see more and more acrticles of bitcoin being used for illegal activities
will this hurt bitcoin in the long run , will governments ban this just like they started to do wih paying in cash for some services
to harden the use of illegal , and money laundering

I hope that the usage of Bitcoin for illegal activities won't affect the adoption of this cryptocurrency. If it will then there will be no logic in this. Money, gold, knives and even simple cars are being used for illegal activities for many years and still we are using all of those things in everyday life.
12039  Other / Politics & Society / Re: North Korea Threatens Nuclear Attack as U.S. and South Korea Begin Drills on: March 08, 2016, 09:44:23 AM
If the superpowers wanted, North Korea would be gone in 3 months.
There is nothing to gain in North Korea for them.

The problem is that along with North Korea, Japan and South Korea will be gone as well (probably Taiwan and Hawaii as well). Do you want 300 million dead people? Just ignore the fat boy, and everything will be fine. He is not going to launch any nukes, unless someone invades DPRK first. So until Hitlery become the POTUS, there is no chance of a North Korean nuke attack.

I agree. The fat boy only cares about his power in the DPRK. All of his statements just for the people of his country to say "Wow! What a great leader we have!" He wants to live and enjoy his luxury life among the millions of brainwashed slaves. He will never launch a nuke attack until his power is threatened.
12040  Other / Off-topic / Re: How to motivate women to use Bitcoin? on: March 07, 2016, 03:17:57 PM
Give her a wallet with at least 10 bitcoins  and she will find  shops that accept them. After that she will motivate you to earn or mine more bitcoins!

That's a pretty good advice. However not all women like shopping (that's an overused cliche) and also they can mine themselves, they don't need a man to mine Bitcoins for them. Maybe you are right in most cases but there are exceptions you know. )
