I wouldn't recommend anyone buying small amounts on a regular basis, IF the transactions fees are high.
What do you consider to be a small amount? Here are some of the fees that exchange charge to withdraw BTC. Btc-e : 0.001 BTC Kraken : 0.0005 BTC Bitfinex : Free Bitstamp : Free

Bittrex and C-Cex charges 0.0002 BTC, (to complete your list).

I think there is a limit for buying bitcoin and if you buy below 10.000 satoshi usually they wont sell for you and then if you buy too little you also need to pay transaction fee..so you will lost more money

Here in Belgium I can buy the equivalent of 1 euro in Bitcoin through a service called bitonic (based in The Netherlands). You can pay with online banking, which is pretty handy for me personally..
I've noticed they have pretty high fees lately, so might still change services in the future.

In my opinion, there's is no minimum limit for buying BTC at all. However you should buy at least 0.001 because that's the least amount that the node accepts to process it ![Grin](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/grin.gif) (sent with electrum, fee around 0.00015, inputs < 4) well that's the lowest. Anyway I suggest buying at least a dollar or two ![Grin](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/grin.gif)

There is no such limit if you buy in person from someone, You can buy even few satoshi's. Few Exchanges have a minimum limit and few transactions have a fixed fee, In that case buying like 0.1 BTC will do.
I guess it was around 0.1 BTC, or they also sell the dollar, for example, like if you buy a $ 5 you will be provided 0:01 BTC, I guess that's how they sell dollars in order for them to benefit

Its based on traders, some used to sell only higher value of bitcoins. Better to get the least by joining signature campaigns. While you go for a minimum trade they will have a very minimal transaction charge, this can be eliminated if you earn your own bitcoin.

I don't remember exactly but I think Cryptsy was more than that, R.I.P.

There is no limit for buying bitcoin or other currencies. In the Poloniex, you can spend 0.0001 bitcoin to buy other coins.

Isn't it more convenient to buy small amounts of BTC right here, on this forum? I have never done it myself but I thought those kind of deals have been made here.

The minimum limit, would always be higher than whatever fee any of these services charge for you to acquire those Bitcoins. Nobody would buy $2 worth of Bitcoins for instance, if it cost you $3 in fees to acquire it. That said.. if you knew the $2 worth of Bitcoin will double or triple in value, you might be motivated to pay that fee, but it would be stupid.. because nobody has any guarantees for what the price will be in the future other than speculation. ![Roll Eyes](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/rolleyes.gif)

There is no minimum limit to buy, most exchanges will provide from few dollars itself. Only the transaction fee depends. So to avoid very minimal buying its better to earn through different ways possible.

So you never buy bitcoin lower than 0.2 ever? It is around $80 , you spend it every week just for gamble? Quiet high amount for people with $400 wage per month like me. I never limit to buy bitcoin, and what for we limit minimum to buy bitcoin? It will not take effect to anything right? The question a little bit strange.

Canada:
Due to the low price of the current Canadian Dollars the minimum here you can buy in bitcoins is 0.0002BTC, it's pretty much impossible to just get a few Satoshis. Why? Because Bitcoins are hard to get in Canada, you must have a Credit Card if you want to buy them online, Visa/Mastercard. Even then it's hard to find somewhere to buy them because most of the websites require Identity & Address verification, wich are hard to give from here, especially in Québec(Canada).
Unfortunately that is where I live, but fortunately it makes me one of the only buyer/seller from Canada, Québec. Trading is pretty much what I do all day here, it gives me the opportunity to make some extra cash.

i dont put a limit when i have a plan to buy bitcoins, and i also think everyone will not do this. minimum limit for buying bitcoins is decided by exchange, and also people who sell to other people have their own rules, ussually they have minimum limit at 0.005 or less.
