You have quite a bit of trust on here however I think you have a bit to learn about how the forum works and how various trades take place. If you are escrow then there will be no shortage of people trying to scam you and you need to anticipate these scam attempts and take steps from them being successful.
Okay, thanks. I am sure people will try to scam me, I was going to start by escrowing only small purchases. Then, if it does turn into a scam and somehow something goes awry I can always reimburse them. That can get very expensive very quickly. That is an appropriate response when you are an escrow for that kind of trade however you may not be able to accurately know if someone is telling the truth about various facts. There are no requirements for starting an escrow service and it is a free market and you are free to do so but I would stand by my above advice to you.

Does anyone know the overall stats (that are more up to date) for reports and accuracy? I am right around 870 reports and just under 94% accuracy.

First, a need for a moderator is realized in a specific section, Theymos then looks over people's report history, as people who report posts and have a decent ratio of good:bad reports show that they understand the forum rules. After that, he will contact the best candidate to ask if they would like to become a mod. If you choose to accept, you then have to pass a written exam. If you score high enough, then is on to the physical portion. All of the moderators circle you with oak planks and beat you about the head and chest. If you are able to stay on your feet after 2 minutes, you are then able to pass to the mental section of the test. We find the most infuriating people to assault you verbally. Keep in mind there is no holding back. If you have any shameful secrets, they will come out, and no one that you know or care about is off limits. If you have not snapped, you are a "Plebian" a "junior" moderator accepted into the circle who must triumph over a few more tasks before you are finally ready to get the Staff title, and become a publically known moderator. Each task is different, some times its as easy as fighting a lion using only non carbon based materials. Sometimes you have to break into fort knox (thats my favorite one), or maybe prove the existance of extraterrestrial life, or solve the world's monetary issues. Once done with your task, you will emit a faint glow, and your limbs are now able to grow back. You are now a full fledged moderator. ![Grin](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/grin.gif) Sorry I couldn't help myself, everything before the "If you choose to accept" is the real answer. Thanks for the help? Now maybe I should report your post as spam... ![Wink](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/wink.gif) Oh snap. You are just the kind of fascist pig the mods look for! lol Me fascist? Me Pig? Um no, more like an anti-fascist bacon eater. ![](https://ip.bitcointalk.org/?u=https%3A%2F%2Fi.imgur.com%2FYz1yIut.jpg&t=662&c=ffx3KtnXHpXDWw) Sorry, but I am not up to date on my memes. what does that mean? I think it is pretty self explanatory. Tl;dr your application was not approved. You don't need the phone itself to use fappy bird. You only need to backup what is on the phone and then someone else can restore their phone from your backup.

Hello, I just want to ask in which date the first week count will end. Is it today or the next Tuesday? Sorry if it is stated already. Thanks! BR Gondel
Posts are already being counted. 30% complete atm. Once counted, it will be forwarded to devthdev who will release the funds. Thank you ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) When's the post counts update? It's updated every hour or once in a day? And where can i see the post counting? You can watch it live happening here: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1_RyLrCa3saxwHPz8mgPuNlV8ewuX7RlC15ZUQRVp99w/edit#gid=743481789 on sheet 3 I saw it a hour ago or so. Unfortunately 2 of the 4 links of my user details are wrong so the user working on that claimed i have zero posts. ![Grin](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/grin.gif) do I have 59 ignored posts because I made 159 posts or did I actually make 59 bad posts?

So Malin Keshar seems to be insinuating that you *do* have to enter an SMS code in order to withdrawal (or perhaps I misunderstand him).
to withdraw from bit-x you will need to either receive a SMS text message or a phone call with a code. You need to enter that code on the bit-x website in order to confirm your identity.

I would suggest shooting a PM to BadBear letting him know that someone in your campaign is making insubstantial posts with a pair signature and he should handle it. I also would personally remove him from the campaign.

Thanks a lot to everyone for the replys. I'm tryng to get back my accounts that were banned due to some " spam " but I'm tryng to get them back and stop the spam. again thanks!
you really shouldn't be posting if any of your accounts were banned for any reason (with the exception to appeal your ban which you are not doing)

My favorite response to these kinds of questions is below Same thing I do when anything happens. Drink some beer.
I would probably say that by the next time the prices breaches $1,000 it will likely go substantially higher (at least temporaly) so I would hodl ![Wink](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/wink.gif)

The main reason would be to support the forum. When donations were originally solicated the price of bitcoin was much lower then it is now. 10 btc was roughly enough to pay for a month of hosting, but now hosting is free and provided by PIA. The donations were to be used for new software for the forum but the forum now has sufficient money to pay for that and theymos has never lowered the amounts required to donate.
A few companies have donated 10 btc to become a donator but it has been probably years since anyone has donated 50 btc.

i saw a user is selling hero member account for 0.1btc.since this is a free market.everyone can sell it at whatever they like
are you sure about this? I don't think anyone would be willing to sell a hero account that low. The lowest I have seen heros go for is ~.35

OK, now we are getting somewhere. We need to let Badbear look though some info I sent him. For the record. My personal PC was hacked into thru a backdoor Trojan Saturday night into early Sunday. When I logged I first noticed a wallet I had left open had sent 3000 coins out?? I knew right away it was from a bad virus filled wallet I hastily had DL and installed without scanning. I knew right away it was bad and virus filled. I scanned down my PC pretty good and identified at least 3 Trojans,,, one specifically was a password gathering Trojan. I felt I had got it all out the night before, but had missed a backdoor which I later found.
As history will show, early Sunday he made his way into my PC and began logging into at least 4 exchanges, sent 3000 coins from an open wallet and stole my MinermanNC account and scryptonite account both attached to the same email. I had my web browser open and was logged into many accounts. Unfortunately I had fell asleep without closing anything out as normal,,, and I got burned as a result. You had ~$840,000 worth of bitcoin in your hot wallet? Or was this some shitcoin that was "stolen" from you. Do you mind to share the txid of the tx that stole your coins? Now, I am impressed at you honesty and coming forward as to what happened on your end in buying my stolen account. That lends you a lot of credibility. It looks like you got duped however, just I have. I have already lost 50.00 in an alt coin that got stole along with a ton of headaches since. Dev]Account is not hacked.Escrow only from trusted list accepted.Reason for sale:my altcoin balance bankrot.
Interestingly enough the person selling the account said that they were selling because they lost money in altcoin trading. They also told me via PM that the account was not hacked and was willing to provide escrow with proof as much Is 1.3 your best price you can offer?
1.1 Last, but last price 1.1 would be too high for me. I have sold hero accounts for as low of ~.7 as of recently, and I would obviously want to buy for a lower price then that. In my experience it takes a long time for hero accounts to sell because of their high price and their overall prices are falling because of additional supply. Would you be able to prove ownership of the account via a signed message? Acc is not hacked.Last price is 1.1 and escrow service can check evrything that my acc have.People offer me .8 .9...but this is to low for my hero.

Asking price? (or will you only take offers). Are you able to prove ownership via a signed message from an old address associated with the account?

quite right. my first paycheck (for this weeks partial week) will come in a week from friday. probably won't be particularly large, but i should be able to get SOMETHING into btc and to you guys.
Arklan, with BTC threatening to break out, I would advise you to settle your BTC-denominated loans as quickly as possible. ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) The price of bitcoin was closer to $380 then to $300 when he got the loan so on a fiat basis he will actually likely end up repaying a significant lesser amount worth of fiat then he got from the loan, even after late fees and interest

Are you the new partner for silver wallets?
It looks like he is selling on their behalf on the forum. Kind of like a contact person/representative

If someone used tor then their location would appear to change every 10 minutes. I imagine many people use VPNs to connect to the forum as well and not only would it be trivial to make it look like an account was not purchased you would get more false positives.
I would really appreciate some constructive criticism, meaning not only saying 'this doesn't work, it's not a good idea', but rather 'this doesn't work, but this and that may be done instead'. That would bring the discussion further, because I believe we agree, that in the current shape due to account trading, the trust rank is not of any help.I do not agree with that statement as I have indicated above. The fact that there is value to positive trust means that anyone who buys an account with positive trust is going to pay a premium over an account with neutral trust. This means that anyone who buys a positive trust account with the intention of trying to scam is going to have to risk their initial investment to try to scam. It is not a guarantee that someone is going to be able to be successful in pulling off a scam, especially if their potential trading partners are able to use appropriate precautions (and I am not referring to using escrow)

Coin #58 of the "Design 2"-coin series has been bought by Quickseller. Thank you very much.
Confirmed. I am excited to be getting one. It will probably be a while before I will have a chance to get it graded though, I have a bunch that are in need of grading.
