I think you are wrong! I know some of them who got banned: Full member: Madness Senior member: I guess there are many peple but I know none of them Hero: marcotheminer Legendary: Crazyearner Even though hero members and Legendary members rarely get banned, they have got banned ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) Correct me if I'm wrong. They all are Sig ad campaign members except Marco who was banned for PM spamming.

My thoughts conveyed perfectly. What normal person would go through all the sections trying to do over 50 posts a day? I'm talking about posts that look okay but serve no purpose and are the result of careful spamming? None. I don't agree as I am normal and make 100+ posts mostly on another forum. I interact with the users and this might be considered spamming but still I do it and it's done in a Chit Chat thread. Would you consider tweets, FB replies, Chatting as spam? That's what normal beings do. Here some do it because they get paid but some do it because they love it. The latter isn't considered spam though.

It seems that users who didn't wearing sig would be banned too, but the odds to be banned is significantly lower than people with the paid sig.
Just leave that newbies alone, we shouldn't stop people from participating in this forum, right?
Yes, your're right! Spammers wearing signature are frequently banned rather than the spammers/newbies wearing no signatures!! We can never stop those newbie spammers! There are almost 250 newbies registering per day and almost 200 are used for making useless spams! Its impossible to stop them! And the newbie in your example doesn't get banned nor does any person wearing signature will be banned for posting off-topic! If the person who is posting offtopic himself created the thread, it would be moved by a moderator to the right thread! Not necessary that he'll get banned! You missed this: They aren't newbies which is more surprising.
The members are mostly Full, Sr., Hero members and still they are spamming. Mostly, newbies who are trolls get banned but I have noticed that these senior members aren't banned. May be I am wrong here.

For me spam is:
1. Posting on a job topic when they aren't interested in the job. It sometimes gets irritating as people fill the pages of such threads with just their opinion and people who re genuinely interested in doing the task ignore it or think that the OP isn't paying. I find several users doing this just to make fun and increase their post count.
2. Posting in a news article topic and then replying to off topic posts. Sometimes it's likely that a user can go off topic when it comes to sensitive issues but that is not always the case.
3. Posting long replies but when you look at the reply, there is not even a single sentence that truly makes sense.
4. Posting too many emoticons.
5. Posting by just reading the title and not the content. (sometimes the title and the content does not match and that happens when the OP itself is a troll)
I wouldn't consider user asking questions in thread (if they don't understand the content of a topic) as spam as they genuinely may be interested in gaining knowledge. Sigs shouldn't restrict them from asking questions. Also, the above points are for both users (with/without a sig). Am not saying that I have never done the above as I am also human and I do make mistakes.

I have reported few posts of users who don't belong to any campaign (fortunately) but their posts make no sense. They aren't newbies which is more surprising. I have noticed that they keep making senseless posts and go off topic in the thread created by them. I also noticed that my reports have not been addressed yet as my accuracy hasn't changed but they are indeed spamming (if I am not wrong).
For eg: A user creates a thread about a news article and talks about sun, moon, trees and I don't know what else. Isn't that considered going off topic in their own post? If they were wearing a signature, they might have been probably banned but now their posts are being considered non-spammy?
I know that what appears to me as spam may not be valid for a MOD but going off topic isn't considered spam?
Also, there are many topics which are created about Miracles of (a holy book) and finally all are having fun in these threads. It's only my opinion.

I almost feel for the story till I read the replies of the user. It won't be strange if someone did that earlier in 2009-10 as bitcoin price was $0.001 or merely nothing and a pizza is worth about $6-$7 approx even in 2009 so basically a person would be sending 10K bitcoins for 2 pizzas. I just found this on wikipedia: "Feb 2010 – May 2010 less than $0.01 User "laszlo" made the first real-world transaction – he bought 2 pizzas for 10,000 BTC.[74][75] User "SmokeTooMuch" auctioned 10,000 BTC for $50 (cumulatively), but no buyer was found." So this news is true. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/History_of_BitcoinPointing out the obvious are we or are you still new to this? OP is trying to sell us a fake story. He's trying to pretend that he was the man who took the 10K bitcoins for pizza. People need to stop falling for this nonsense. I dint know this story before and I am still new to bitcoins. It was last month when I inquired the first price of a bitcoin as I don't know the HISTORY of bitcoins as you all know. I created my story around this well known fact Yeah just read it. I guess everyone already knew this except me. ![Undecided](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/undecided.gif)

I would still not invest in bitcoins as the currency has seen huge ups like $1200 and even $200. If I would earn small bits of bitcoins in 2009 and would notice it is worth nothing in 2009, I would store it and forget about it. And then if I would know that the price has reached $1000+, I would sell it and buy a new house if the amount is enough.

It would be a good experiment for those who have the money to invest in this. I don't know who has lived for 150 years and as per wikipedia, the longest living human was 122 years. Basically, 70-80 years defines a normal person's age and they could use this only once.
IMO, I don't mind aging and but looking young even when I turn 60 would be most welcome. People look like 35-40 even when they are 60 years old and are quite healthy as well. Some go for cosmic surgery while some are God gifted and mainly have a healthy diet.

back, Yeah so I got hopefully 3.85 BTC to sell
Memphis @ Golden State , Moneyline , Golden State
3.5 BTC @ 1.1 Confirmed
Should end soon.
What are your payment methods?
I do PayPal at market pricea In the above quote, the user kashish948 has clearly stated that he is having a transaction at market price. Now which market is he talking about? CAD market price? It's weird when BTC is usually given in USD. Well Ill sell you 3.85 btc for $900 paypal
Please send BTC to 1NBFMLaUanXmT8a3bUnVvTLh1E5TDEGFAb And give your paypal Here since the currency wasn't mentioned, there was a miscommunication but when the OP had been told earlier that kashish948 was dealing at the MARKET PRICE, I can give him a benefit of doubt that he did not understand what currency is being spoken here and so he wrote "$900". When I deal with a different currency, I make sure the other user knows it before he sends the money and I don't assume anything. It looks like you were happy that the OP wanted to trade for $150 less and you dint feel the need to confirm the currency you are dealing in. People usually deal for 5-10% less in bitcoins while this was even more than that. It would be kind of you to refund the user the amount but by saying that he should get a taste of his own medicine is wrong. Nobody deserves to be cheated.

I have noticed an increase and decrease in my accuracy rating. When my report is considered and it gets deleted, my rating increases. This is because I report very few posts.
I don't think there is a special formula used here as if you report 100 posts and 70 are considered valid, your accuracy is 70%.
