12101  Other / Politics & Society / Re: What will happen when people realise that the world is cooling and not warming? on: January 09, 2020, 10:54:32 PM
I suspect the AGW shills will trick the normie idiots into trusting them again somehow for whatever their next scam is once the man made global warming myth goes tits-up..

i see a couple decades of 'carbon' fundraising to cover 'carbon emission efforts'

next is things like desalinating water to use sea water for drinking/agriculture/ just wetting dry land. and ofcourse the 'microplastic' cleanup of ocean industry..
12102  Other / Politics & Society / Re: What will happen when people realise that the world is cooling and not warming? on: January 09, 2020, 08:17:57 PM
climate change is an apt term.. some places are heating up some are cooling.
though the average for the globe is just a degree and fears of a couple degree rise has been spouted as doomsday. the truth is that its multiple degrees higher in one area and multiple degrees cooler in another.

the other deflection of facts is whats the cause/reaction/ threat.
carbon is not the threat/cause/effect. water is.

so in the UK yes we are going to get colder winters. and because we only get a few weeks of proper summer. though those summers may be hotter then usual. overall because we dont see much of it. we will generally feel the bitter winter cold for a longer period and feel it as a colder climate average for just UK

where as africa who hardly get to see a winter. will feel the summer feel more intense.

the result is UK gets more storms and snow and wind. africa gets more droughts and bushfires and desertification.

any way. the whole carbon emissions need to drop in next 20-50 years will happen anyway no matter what environmental campaign is done. simply because there is no unlimited supply of fossil fuels. even in the 1990's they revealed oil/gas stores were being depleted. so carbon will not be an issue in a few decades anyway. the whole plastic tax(carrier bags) and carbon tax(emissions) is just to invest money into giving energy companies a free new power plant without affecting their profit line so they can move from coal to renewables totally cost free. because without these taxes and with depleting fossil fuels their share value would tank hard unless they shifted.

but that all doesnt solve the actual climate problem. carbon is the energy problem and human lung health problem.
the climate problem needs solutions related to controlling the water cycle
12103  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Iran has made a huge mistake and the world will pay a price for it. on: January 08, 2020, 11:54:43 PM
(facepalm x3)
its wise enough for Iran to stay away from USA

U.S. Citizens should honestly prepare themselves for an upcoming war.

if they really think they can take on America.

iran are not attacking america or its citizens.. iran are defending their country against foreign military that are in iran.. they want that military to get out and go home

american citizens have nothing to fear. american citizens eat and sleep thousands of mile of land and thousand mile if water away from iran.. calm down
12104  Other / Ivory Tower / Re: Google claims breakthrough in Quantum computing on: January 08, 2020, 06:29:04 PM
But if quantum computing actually happens, then won’t regular passwords for bank accounts and emails, etc. be most at risk? I mean, there’s a lot more at risk than just Bitcoin and at least Bitcoin private keys have a bunch of digits.

the temperature needed to measure other measures of atoms is so low dont expect it to be a household computer device.
so it will be large industrial machines renting time to individuals (think cloud services)

quantum cant just break encryption. it can just make bruteforcing more efficient
but dont worry. what takes millions of years in binary computing will still take years in quantum

to put it simple. MD5 is not broke because its been made reversible. its broke because people have 'rainbow tables' that list many combinations thus making it easy to find results.

bitcoins level is sooo dense that to store every keypair would take more storage than available on normal computers. the time to do it is as i said multiple years. then the time to reference each one of those for value..
still makes quantum a time painstaking task.

no one would waste a billion dollar machine to brute force a coin which once doing so will collapse the value to make it not worth doing financially.
things like fiat which are legally endorsed to stay active as they are tied to tax law and minimum wage law keeps fiat as a more active target worth hitting. because fiat is not a one hit wonder but a continual target

and ofcourse theres the business profitable side of asking why waste resources and timme on a possible hit of a few coins. when they can make more money analysing other things. like DNA/science. which can earn them more money...

take elon musts space X he is not wasting money just for the dream of mars. he doing it to charge a fee for his transportation services. he wants to be the spacial taxi service. not a dream maker.

google dont do things for dreams. they want to make money out of it.
why waste years bruteforcing something when they can make money from science grants doing dna/ energy research
12105  Other / Serious discussion / Re: We're not cutting co2 emissions any time soon on: January 08, 2020, 02:00:05 PM
Anyway, that's the last time I'm replying to you on this thread because we're getting off-topic. You can take that as a win, even though you're wrong and proven wrong on every turn. The only people on your side are either people who are being paid to lie, the same people that were paid off by cigarette companies to lie about cigarettes not being cancer-causing (using their degrees and reputations as doctors and scientists to dupe the gullible public) and the people who are stupid enough to believe it. The money pours in from people who are invested in fossil fuels and still have a big stake there. People who are rich enough now not to care.

last point

the fossil fuel companies are running out of fuel. they cant pay to re-invent new industry in renewables. so guess what. they are happy to take the blame of fossil fuels because they know their time is up. they are happy because they can charge their customers a carbon tax to fund their next industry.
and how do you scam people into being happy to pay more.. pretend that the carbon tax is a social benefit. meanwhile the industry continues to make money.

...
lets word it another way
in the next 10-50 years. even if no 'climate change' activities/projects occured. the fossil fuel companies would run out of fuel and carbon emissions would drop anyway..
the whole carbon tax is not going to stop carbon emissions.. the carbon emissions themself are going to reduce anyway. the tax is to keep the energy sector in business.
12106  Other / Serious discussion / Re: We're not cutting co2 emissions any time soon on: January 08, 2020, 01:56:20 PM
by the way you do need to know the amount of water in a saucepan. because an empty saucepan will never boil as there is nothing to boil.
you do need to know the heat and water balance because as i already said a thin frying pan level of water and a large 5 litre pan of water change the speed of evaporation. this is because the cold water at the top slows down the hot water at the bottom.

i guarantee you if you had a pan of 0.2litres of water refreshed 5 times. and 1 saucepan of 1litre. i can boil the frying pan waters 1ltr total faster than the saucepans 1ltr

just thinking temperature and water volume =x is not science. knowing volume time and temperature helps

in short. the more you learn the more you know, the more variables you can find the better you get results.
seems you prefer not to know enough and happy not doing indepth research

anyway. im still laughing you think carbon = starvation.
i tip my hat to ur comedy routine but turn my back in shame at your reearch
12107  Other / Serious discussion / Re: We're not cutting co2 emissions any time soon on: January 08, 2020, 01:29:41 PM

You're unwilling to accept what any person that understands anything about the climate has already accepted. Anthropogenic climate change is real. In simpler terms, the climate is changing because of human action.

It may be difficult to accept that humans can have such influence on the environment. But the truth is that our footprint is bigger than ourselves.

no one is refuting that humans have changed things. what is refuted is how carbon is related to temperature change.
carbon affects lung health
water affects land temperature

humans affected both.
but just because humans affected both does not mean the effects are linked.
water and carbon are separate and cause separate issues.

by the way you foolish man.
the climate agenda has been used as the reason why africa is starving and why unicef and red cross are involved. maybe you should look into the real reason.

research land grab and native displacement
africa have complained to the word bank about starvation due to foreign land owners.. not carbon
wake the hell up.

heres some docu's
p1: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=isiYYVmvn2U
p2: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Igk5NHH-qJ0

the rain forest alliance is not the carbon alliance.
destroying rainforests by burning them affects the atmosphere by destroying the planets natural water sponge for evaporation. not the smoke

by the way. when u are cold in winter. rub carbon on your body. see if it helps.. it wont
if carbon was more of an effective heat control. house radiators. heaters and such would be carbon not water based
water absorbs heat better and faster.
water cycle has changed by more than 0.01% which has a more causality causation relation to temperature differation..

i honestly cannot believe you have been soo fooled into thinking that it is carbon as the reason why unicef is doing food aid in africa..
you are naive beyond belief
atleast watch the documentaries and do a bit of african history research over the last 70 years before trying to insta-reply with anything related to ur belief in carbon=starvation

extra hint. many people have told you plants LOVE CARBON . plants love SUNLIGHT
12108  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Iraq votes to expel US Coalition Troops on: January 08, 2020, 03:11:42 AM
Of course the conqueror has to pay the price for keeping the conquered land, that means sending troops, feed them, risk them etc. The usual. Logic says Iraq has nothing to do with USA, they should leave and let Iran do whatever they want (of course it was the USA that demolished Iraq's forces in the first place, paving the way for the iranians).

if you learned anything from africa over the last 70 years you would know
foreign countries come in and take the land. displace the natives and then get other charities to feed/shelter them.

US military invade and take the land, sell it to other investors.. and worldbank/unicef/red cross then make millions from donations just to hand out cups of rice to the displaced
12109  Other / Politics & Society / Re: what could possibly push one to use his or her child for money ritual? on: January 08, 2020, 02:46:12 AM
I had never heard about this ritual in my life Shocked

its just voodoo scam

the actual cases of actual child sacrifice is super low. and only done by the most desparate scam artists trying to con families. the majority of the ritual is just the threat of sacrifice to sway families into paying money instead of other ingrediants.

so dont think the ritual is some standard child sacrifice thing thats rampant in africa. its just a scam using threat of child sacrifice
12110  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Entanglement for Quantum Computing chips achieved, will Bitcoin keep up? on: January 08, 2020, 01:22:11 AM
BITCOIN IS ON BORROWED TIME !!!!    The writing is on the wall.  Bitcoin will be a HUGE target to be cracked by quantum computing.

The fact that someone is talking about this tells you this will be one of Quantum Computing first targets 😣😣😣😣

Hard Facts

bitcoin is not on borrowed time of someone cracking encryption. but someone having a more efficient brute forcing method
no one is going to waste a billion dollar machine to brute force a key of only $1m value.
and no quantum wont make it an instantaneous break of key. just an efficient bruteforce

relax just a little. what would take a billion years in binary might take many years in quantum. so its not a dont leave funds in a key for more than 2 minutes risk. its a just for pure luck chance. move keys once a year if your hoarding large value just to make bruteforcers see its not worth wasting a few years on a keypair

by the way. bitcoin value is not fixed to peoples lives. shops and employers are not demanded to use it.
its fiat that would be a target, simply because people are forced to use it they cant just change the parameters of fiat easily. meaning its a better target.

but thats if a nefarious user had a quantum computer and plenty of spare time. and didnt care about getting arrested for hacking/theft.

so cool down your fears. its not like those with quantum computers can hide their equipment under their bed
12111  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Hash Rate Continue to Surge! on: January 08, 2020, 01:15:32 AM
as long as we dont see a 90exahash bottom again we should be in for some promising good new price supports
12112  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Entanglement for Quantum Computing chips achieved, will Bitcoin keep up? on: January 08, 2020, 01:11:21 AM
quantum is not some alternate universe theory or splitting atoms theory
its about taking a different measure that has not been measured/seen/used before.

for instance classical computers are binary. just 0 and 1.
to simplify quantum computers its 0123 which some are using the extra 2 options as a and/or of 0 1
others use it to make dna analysis easier as dna gtac has 4 options which a binary bit couldnt handle alone to identify as either  g or t or a or c. (binary would need 2 bits for same identity)

the other thing they are doing is instead of doing it based on electrons vibrating against each other. they are using photons. (beams of light instead of electric)

the whole sci-fi alternate universe crap is just to keep people confused so industry can get a few steps ahead of the game before it becomes common practice.

yes photons are faster then electrons.. its like the difference of fibre optics vs copper wire internet.
there is no illusion or magic occuring in quantum. its just changing what and how things are measured/analysed/stored/transferred

..
as for quantum computers risk to cryptography.
cryptographic puzzles based on pure binary logic. such as sha. are only 2x inferior to quantum. where as other forms such as elliptic curves which are more vector based and not so efficient in binary can be even more efficient in quantum

12113  Other / Politics & Society / Re: About fixing up Detroit and untested rape kits on: January 07, 2020, 07:11:21 AM

I don't endorse forcing anyone to go through a pregnancy, however there are many options for contraception

.. if only the women had pre knowledge they were going to be raped, maybe they could prepare for rape better...  is that your solution..??!!

sorry but i think your missing the whole topic and whole understanding of rape
12114  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Iraq votes to expel US Coalition Troops on: January 07, 2020, 07:07:29 AM

just goes to show how things changed in 80 years
imagine if france voted to get germans out of france in the 1940's and germany threatened sanctions...
oh wait. that was WW2.

kind of funny how trump thinks troops should remain in a country that doesnt want them
12115  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why We Think Craig Wright is Satoshi and Why That Matters on: January 07, 2020, 06:34:52 AM
Just one question. What happened to the bonded courier of the Tulip Trust with the keys of the loads of bitcoin as Craig claimed? What happened to his claimed doomsday of bitcoin?

in 2013 he told 3 businesses he moved coins into new shell companies and new trusts and used that as collateral for 3 companies to pay him some investment.
so not only scamming the ATO(aussi tax office) with tulip he then rescammed other businesses with the so called collateral migration.
(no coins actually moved though(hint: fake migration))

then it became common knowledge he didnt have keys to the 2009-10 stash so tried to reinvent documents that said he owned other coins from later dates to try keeping ATO and the companies at a arms distance.
that too fell flat due to people recognising some of the addresses as not being craigs as they belonged to others(mtgox for instance). now craig teamed up with ira. to make a frenemy (friends pretending to be enemies) debate over who owns this supposed collateral just to keep the supposed collateral 'locked up' so he can claim he has no access to it due to legal proceedings. ..
.. basically his poor excuse to avoid saying he aint got the coins and never had them. by continually saying he isnt allowed to touch them for numourous reasons..

the reasons big investors are trying to keep the deception under wraps and try to say craig is satoshi. because they want craig to generate more funds to pay back original investors just long enough so they can exit before it all comes crashing down
by the way bsv market price is pretty much break even mining cost. so he isnt really making profit to make new funds to repay old investors. so i presume he is opening up new investment firms and selling patents to make money(ponzi style)
12116  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Theory (requires criticism) - Bitcoin after free energy disclosure? on: January 07, 2020, 06:19:12 AM
People here say that energy can't be free, but I think it actually can happen, though I doubt it's very likely. Right now air is free because its supply is much higher than demand and its everywhere. Maybe in some super distant future same will happen to energy - scientists will be able to get energy from anti-matter or some other cool stuff so the supply of energy will just explode.

air is free because it doesnt need a expensive device or a o2 battery to contain it or use it.
electric however is not free.
batteries cost money to store it. solar panels cost money to gather it.
heck lets image a world where we are constantly bombarded with storm clouds of lighting zapping the surface constantly. even a long metal pole and wire costs money.

even equipments to gather electric from your silly antimatter scenario. cost money

what you dont realise is 'electric' itself is not asking for payment...but the cables to your house. the coal factories, the workers the coal miners, the transportation. those cost money. and those providing all that service to get electric to you is what your paying for. so technically 'electric' is already free. but the electric service and delivery is the payments you make. and that will never change

same concept as fruit
the fruit is free but your paying for the convenience of having it available at a local grocery store without the hassle of growing your own
12117  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Options Market Shows Halving Is Not Priced In: Skew on: January 07, 2020, 06:04:49 AM
i don't think that is something we can ever measure with a "study"!
it is a speculation that could only be made AFTER the halving and the price rises were done. and that means at least 6 months

wrong. right now we can study that if the halving happened right now the halving is not priced in.

ofcourse hashrate can decline and mining cost can decine whereby if the price was $7.8k in 6 months and the mining cost was $3.9k then that would mean when a halving happened at that time the miners are still breaking even and thus at that point the halving is 'priced in

ofcourse hashrate can remain stagnant and mining cost can stagnate whereby if the price was $7.8k in 6 months and the mining cost was same as now then that would mean when a halving happened at that time the miners are not breaking even and thus at that point the halving is not 'priced in'

ofcourse hashrate can remain stagnant and mining cost can stagnate whereby if the price was $13k in 6 months and the mining cost was same as now then that would mean when a halving happened at that time the miners are breaking even and thus at that point the halving is 'priced in'

but thats the future situation...

you specifically said its impossible to know if january 2020 has it priced in.. and only able to tell months after the halving looking back many months..
no. todays costs and todays price does not have the excess speculative profit that could manageably cope with a halving right now.

the price has to go up or mining costs have to go down.
its something that can be studied before the event.. not months after.

ofcourse we cannot predict the speculative price of 6 months time
ofcourse we cannot predict the hashrate amount of 6 months time
ofcourse we cannot predict the mining hardware of 6 months time
so we cannot predict if in 6 months time (just before halving) if its priced in

but january2020 situation can tell you that JANUARY 2020 numbers do not have excess buffer in the speculative price to cover a halving happening right now
12118  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Theory (requires criticism) - Bitcoin after free energy disclosure? on: January 07, 2020, 03:39:06 AM
even if a way could be made to make electric production free. there will always be a way someone will charge for it.
EG people can grow tomatoes in their garden. yet supermarkets charge $1, and they have demand

people can have sex with their wife. but prostitutions charge to service the married man

for electric. even if free some tax or set up cost or cabling inspection/insurance would develop where costs are still incurred

also as avikz says:
Mining can't be free even if electricity becomes free. Rather the hardware cost is likey to skyrocket because a lot of people will then become interested to start mining! It will increase the demand of mining hardware which will push the price of these already-costly equipments to another notch higher!

More people mining means, network difficulty will increase! More difficulty means, more update hardware requirement and more updated hardwar requirement will increase the initial set up investment of every wannabe miners!

Understand the chronology! It's a never ending cycle!

totally agree with this assessment..
.. screw it 10 merit
12119  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Options Market Shows Halving Is Not Priced In: Skew on: January 07, 2020, 03:33:47 AM
for bitcoin halving to be priced in the market price would need to be at double of mining cost.

obviously

this is because if hashrate continues at same level then with half as many coins awarded the value of the coins would need to double to cover the mining cost.

right now the cost of mining vs bitcoin price is not at a double

the most efficent mining cost is about $6500 and the market price is not that far above.
if the market price was say ~$13k+ then yes the halving would have been 'priced in' but that is not the case.

as the halving gets closer, a few possible things can happen
mining hardware cost/efficiency gets better(lower cost) to compensate
hashrate declines and those remaining get more slice of the reward pie to compensate
market price increases to compensate
12120  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why We Think Craig Wright is Satoshi and Why That Matters on: January 07, 2020, 03:24:26 AM
i read the article and even read the transcripts of some of the stuff linked.

craig did not have tax returns listed in 2008-2009 related to bitcoin which then came into question with the ATO... the ATO were interested in the 2013+ crap of craig creating shell companies and trusts with no collateral.

the transcripts funnily enough say that craig moved funds out of Dave kleiman and wright tulip trust and put coins into new trusts.. yet the satoshi stash has not moved.

craig later claims the tulip trust didnt contain satoshi stash(09-10) but a later stash of random coins(11-13)... but later coin analysts revealed the public keys craig claimed as his were actually coins of multiple people including mtgox

kind of funny really CSW says he has the 2009-2010 stash. years later 'i have a stash of 2011-2013 stash'... but even the new stash is proved not his... many laughs were made

so knowing craigs tulip trust did not hold the coins of 2009-2010. shows that craig didnt have access to the true satoshi stash..
thus not satoshi

and then faking ownership by listing publicly available public keys as his .. fraud basically. proves he is a fraudster.

the ATO still want their tax grants back. hense why craig is hiding in UK and not going to return to australia
