Well, ain't that ironic! About ten days ago I, too, cut the same finger on my hand, albeit it was the left one but not the middle finger. It's the finger between the middle finger and the thumb and doesn't have a name like the other fingers do, which is also ironic.

Isn't it ironic that those people who start the largest number of threads have the least useful things to say?

I find it ironic that the post I quoted above fits perfectly in this thread.

I wish there was a way to find out who starts the most threads and if they are truly useless.

Wouldn't we just use some form of quantum internet. If not, We could super-cool cas coins into BEC's scan them with lasers and beam the info to mars, shoot it at some more supercooled mass and teleport the coins of course.

This.

If we could incoorperate a shark somehow it would be the perfect internet.
Obviously the lasers shooting the BEC info to mars would be mounted on sharks

Be sure the correct shark species is chosen, for we don't want any remoras hitching a ride.

Didn't you know that transaction fees for solely for the purpose of nurishing remoras?

And on Mars lemmings fly.
12128  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: jgarzik goes berzerk in #bitcoin-dev, wtf? on: November 30, 2012, 03:24:11 PM

Let me use an analogy.

If you start doing mma, will you gradually go the ranks, and then when you're ready, challenge the best fighter, or will you as a newbie challenge the world champ immediately ?

It depends on if your name is Bob Sapp.  Grin

I was going to name some other, but held my pen till I read your post: http://www.bullshido.net/forums/showthread.php?t=116634

The last time I was banned here was due to posting off-topic, of which I probably was guilty, for my postings were getting somewhat out of hand. My last post, though its first part was off-topic (like in this post), the rest of the post was on-topic, but vague in nature, akin to if I only added a single sentence following the first sentence of this post.

That said, I hope this episode gets resolved in a satisfied matter. For the record, I'm leaning on the side of Jeremias, and not for the reasons of I-can-relate or feel sorry for him. Also, currently I have no ills toward jgarzik.

My apologies, but this is an ego bump. I'm curious to read if my last post has merit. The final aspect does need a tad more polishing though, but I feel it's close.

Thanks, all.

If on the other hand I had put 10-15 hours per week of energy into doTERRA (or some other good MLM), I could potentially be making that much money each month.

Keep the rig and continue mining, but allocate the time away from recreational gaming and dedicate it toward doTERRA.

How the hell do I get to Macchu Picchu to find the bloody thing? This is geocaching at it's craziest.

It sure the hell is! And you can do it sans underwear at your desk. Anybody who owns a business can take advantage of this idea I presented in the OP.

I'll make it a little easier with the following I'll dub Easy Rock (no reward when if found):

I tried my best, but after 30 minutes I'm going to have to give up.  Undecided

During your hunt, did you happen to count the stones? I'm thinking about numbering them.

12139  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Could Ebay massively speculate adopting BTC? on: November 30, 2012, 04:21:20 AM
Could Ebay, strategically, invest massively buying BTC prior announcing adoption of it and earn millions with it so that it would justify letting go of paypal?
How much is Paypal worth and how could Ebay come up with such a speculative move?

eBay could sell PayPal at a lost like they did with Skype when they sold it Gavin's cousin, Marc Andreessen, for $2M USD.

I've mentioned before that any notable (or their account--with permission) could amass bitcoins, then announces to their minions why they love Bitcoin, and when the price rises they purchase the most costliest ticket item available (house, car, plane) where the seller accepts Bitcoin. This way it wouldn't be on them if the price falls due to so many coins being cashed out, thereby protecting their brand. The notable then sells the asset for fiat. If time properly, he/she could double their investment.

The timing is perfect to conduct such a act, liquidating at 2.5X and nobody gets burned. Oprah still comes to mind to pull this off. Let's say it's a million dollars. After the act, she can even give the mil away, thereby even making her brand stronger, but in reality, it's a mil she would have given anyway, but this time it's not out of her direct pocket. A mill she gets to spend on herself, and nobody is the wiser.

And the count by frequency:

K: 10

A: 9
N: 9

H: 8

P: 7

D: 6
Q: 6

B: 3
C: 3
L: 3
Y: 3

S: 2
V: 2

U: 1

Now, it looks pretty simple to solve.

DQ = Data Quest
G = Grid           J = Jammed

EI = End Item               X = Exercise       Z = Zodiac
BCL = Battlefield Coordination Line           Y = Y-Axis (Yankee Time Zone)
SV = Sniper Variant
U = UNCLASSIFIED; Unrestricted
