12141  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Next GENERATION privacy coin and this is real on: July 31, 2018, 09:29:35 PM
If you are the first one to implement atomic swap that's amazing and for sure it will also be copied by other coins as well.

I don't usually trade on IDAX but if there's few volume on it, they must list it somewhere where there's a lot of traders to make that coin lively.

How long will they finish the swap development?
12142  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: where can I claim about problem of ico on: July 31, 2018, 09:19:16 PM
There is an ICO head office where you can make complaints
I thought this was legit but you are talking with a different meaning for ICO. As for DooMAD, you're giving a wrong service to OP.

ICO's are decentralized and there's no head office or governing agency that is regulating this if someone has a complain and this is why everyone must be careful of investing on it.
12143  Economy / Economics / Re: bitcoin and altcoin on: July 31, 2018, 09:07:48 PM
Fail means that they'll be out of the market and no more volume for those coins. But some are using it with another meaning.

Fail = crash / fall

And the market never been paused so why would it need to resume? Many altcoins will fail like those new ICOs that are building their coin because there's not much support on it.
12144  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: MyEtherwallet is not in use on: July 31, 2018, 08:54:31 PM
It's hard to guess of what's the error of OP while he's using MEW.

No problem for this wallet but if you have any problems with it, you might using a wrong website and that probably is a phishing link so that's not working for you.

Can you be more specific of how it's not working for you?
12145  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Do you know some good bounty managers? on: July 30, 2018, 11:41:27 PM
My campaign manager is notaek and he's been managing campaigns actively. His last active bounty is bitcoin 2 but it already ended.

Have you looked into the Service Discussion for the list of campaign managers in the forum?
12146  Economy / Economics / Re: What is the best Cryptocurrency to Invest? on: July 30, 2018, 11:22:15 PM
I haven't done any investment yet. But I heard that investing in Bitcoin and Ethereum is the best option.
You have been a full member here in the forum and yet you haven't done any investment? you don't have bitcoin investment or any altcoin that you have earned from your bounty?

Bitcoin is the best.

I suggest you have to learn from the Investors and ask for their opinion personally. many would have encouraged you to invest in some altcoins you never heard of. so be very careful.
At least don't suggest if you don't really know what to say.
12147  Economy / Speculation / Re: New Exchanges Are Coming? But It is OK? on: July 30, 2018, 11:08:37 PM
As long as they aren't scam, its fine and that is competition thats becoming tough these days.

Competition between centralized and decentralized exchanges are becoming of a trend because of too many new exchanges are coming to the market.

Worried about the division of volume? then who have most will win and traders will jump on it.
12148  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: [XMR] Monero Speculation on: July 30, 2018, 10:49:03 PM
Monero is now a very interesting topic to talk about
It isn't only very interesting now but it has been one of the most interesting topics for altcoins to discuss.

Many do believe in Monero and has been holding since those early days. Look on how this thread was old and yet there's too many active people discussing it.
12149  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: $2000 to invest ? on: July 30, 2018, 10:31:24 PM
I have got have $2000 to invest and I am planning to invest it into stellar, ripple, ethreum or else half the amount in but coin and remaining half in newly launched ICO. Which one would be a better option?
$1,000 for three sets of altcoins and $500 for bitcoin and $500 for ICO?

Your portioning of your investment isn't quite good, why you will only spend that much on bitcoin if most of the coins in the market are fluctuating that much?

I'll put $1,000 for bitcoin and half to others.
12150  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ICO coming soon. Would you like to be the very first to know about it? on: July 30, 2018, 02:36:02 PM
There's only one thing that I'm looking for with the features you have mentioned together with your projects progress.

And that is use case, you haven't mentioned if that token will be use for real transactions and if there will be a purpose of that token.

You're sole focus is to list it to different exchanges so it will be tradable.
12151  Economy / Speculation / Re: Experts say BTC ETFs could launch bitcoin to 20k, 40k 60k USD on: July 26, 2018, 11:51:10 PM
read through the decision regarding the Winklevoss rejection today https://www.sec.gov/rules/other/2018/34-83723.pdf

the same applies for any ETF. all applications are toast as far as i can tell. no one can route around these fundamental objections in the near future. i would guess an ETF is many years away, if ever. don't forget the first gold ETF took something like 7 years to get approved and that's a breeze in conception compared to this.
I have read those news too and I don't know who believe and expect that it's a total FUD, anyway thanks for the link.

As expected, it's better not to put that much hope on this one if this will be approved it will take a lot of years as you've said. And this is the reason why the market has dropped recently.
12152  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How are tokens in bounty campaign paid? on: July 26, 2018, 11:18:46 PM
Just wanted to ask if we need any kind of wallets to recieve those tokens after the completion of campaign.
If the bounty you joined is just an ERC20 token, you only need a ETH address coming from MEW to receive those tokens.

And also how can token be traded into bitcoins or other cryptocurrencies.Any idea?
You need to wait them listed to an exchange so you can sell them off for bitcoin or ETH. But most of ERC20 tokens are good and listed to IDEX and trade them to Ethereum.
12153  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Hacked wallet on: July 26, 2018, 10:56:06 PM
1. Don't log in your MEW private keys or JSON file to any unwanted websites but only to MEW.
2. Check the correct spelling of the website if you'll visiting MEW. There might be some dots on each letters that you haven't notice so do it diligently.
3. Don't send your private keys to any airdrops even they are requiring.
12154  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: What are some of the best sources of information on Bitcoin? on: July 26, 2018, 10:37:27 PM
OP can you update on where your study is going right now?

If you don't have any update on your case study on the resources you got, then it's time to close this thread since most of the answers are being repeated.
12155  Economy / Economics / Re: Any help about how the world is run economically? on: July 26, 2018, 10:20:21 PM
But why can anyone not become rich?
Everyone is free to become rich, it's just a matter of mind setting.

What are the reasons why others work hard yet they are still poor?
Expenses and the way they handle their finances, if someone works hard but don't work smartly he'll be working all the time of his life.

He work hard but he never invested his money and savings, he needs to work hard all of his time.

Why can't we print enough money for everyone? Questions like this do appear but there are reasons the answers are opposite.
Inflation.
12156  Economy / Speculation / Re: Do you still believe in btc price predictions? on: July 26, 2018, 09:37:34 PM
No, I don't believe in predictions. But I predict 20000$ at the end of 2018. Smiley
What? you don't believe in predictions but you have your own prediction. It only means that you are believing in predictions but only made by you. I really like reading predictions especially if the person is talking positively on how high bitcoin will be in the future. But as long as it's measurable and not so demanding, predictions are very well okay to believe IMHO.
12157  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What Frustrates You Most When Using Bitcoin? on: July 25, 2018, 11:51:36 PM
The only thing that annoyed me is way back December last year.

When I sent about $20 and paid the fee respectively and you know what happens? it was pending for 3 days and the person I sent the money was so pissed of too me and blamed me about the delay.

But what I can do?  Grin

12158  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: how long you can stay without gambling? on: July 25, 2018, 11:34:58 PM
I've been inactive in gambling so I guess if I'll continue going on this way, I'll try it for a quarter until it goes to half quarter.

And if that's possible, I'll continue it the up to a year or two.
12159  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin is back! on: July 25, 2018, 11:13:43 PM
Bitcoin surges to $8500. is it ready for a bull run? what can we expect at the end of this year?
Okay it reached $8,500 and I was away so I didn't saw that live but by checking it currently, Bitcoin stands at $8,272 so this price should be the support.

We may expect bull run or not but if I'm you, I won't think so much that excites me and if it won't happen I'll not be disappointed.
12160  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: I have a question regarding Bitcoin transaction fees. on: July 25, 2018, 11:00:21 PM
I'm always following the recommended fee so that I won't struggle waiting for hours just to get confirmed.

If I set it to the recommended fee, it usually goes 10-15 mins or earlier than that.
