12181  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What do you think of Breakoutcoin? on: June 11, 2016, 04:31:46 AM
The BRO coin uses two algorithms, Proof of Work (PoW) & Proof of Bergstake. Bergstake is like Proof of Stake – but not… Sort of. More on that later.

Breakout has the backing of poker all-stars Johnny Chan, Huck Seed, Jennifer Harman, Ted Forrest, Todd Brunson and Vladimir Shchemelev. That’s over 38 World Series of Poker bracelets in case anyone was keeping score.

Currently 1BTC = 6,000 BRO.

But remember, they professional poker players and not developers.  So it's not a guarantee that the project will be a total success.  Maybe some of them have good business acumen, but they are gambling degenerates mostly.  Check their history on prop bets and you'll be surprised.

Having said that, why not post who the developers they're working with are and their credentials in and out of crypto.  Although some experience with working as a dev in a legit crypto project should be a must.
12182  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UFC Fight Night 89: Rory vs. Wonderboy. Share your predictions. on: June 11, 2016, 04:23:29 AM
I think Thompson could outstrike Rory since he's a 57 - 0 kickboxer.  So I can see there some value in betting a Thompson win via 1st round KO, maybe starting at +450...?

But then again if it goes to the distance, there could be value on Rory winning via decision starting at +275.

What do you guys think?  At first impression in looking for value lines, that's what I would look for mostly in this fight.
12183  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Recommend me a signature campaign on: June 11, 2016, 03:54:50 AM
for me, best signature campaign is secondstrade, they have good rate and is paying every week without any problem. you just need to post your info, OP will check you posts and if they suits to him, you will be accepted.

this is the thread of secondstrade: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=907271.0

good luck

Good rate? You call that good rate? Grin Even spammers wouldn't like to be there, they would prefer YoBit. I see that people who got banned from spamming when they were still in the YoBit campaign had migrated in secondstrade. I think that's the lowest paying signature campaign today.

I think tokeweed's post quality has gone back to what it was -- 1 liner posts. He was doing good when he first started in BitBuku.co campaign but after a day, he started posting 1 to 2 liner posts again. Oh well, just try YoBit campaign. They don't mind 2 liner posts if it's constructive and on topic.

Sometimes it's unavoidable and one sentence is enough to get your point across.  A lot of times, people's posts have the feel that they are trying too hard because they are in a campaign.  Some of them are long but written in broken English.  Where's the quality in that?

Edit:  Happy to say that I might get accepted in Betcoin's signature campaign.  I'm still waiting for the campaign manager's reply via PM.  But I started wearing the avatar and sig anyway.  Crossing my fingers...
12184  Economy / Gambling / Re: Should PrimeDice start to allow gambling with other cryptocurrencies? on: June 11, 2016, 03:10:53 AM
In my opinion, the safest choice is to add Litecoin if they decided to add another cryptocurrency.  LTC has good volume and liquidity across the board in 4 - 5 exchanges, so there's no problem there in selling LTC.  Its price vs fiat is also somewhat predictable and almost follows that of BTC, and that's a good thing.  So almost no hedging required just to prevent losses when the market for crypto becomes really active.  All you have to worry about are prices in fiat.

I see some people are suggesting ETH.  The volume and liquidity are good, but I think it's way too early for sites to accept it.  I say wait for a year or two and see what happens.
12185  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Just another example of Martingale lose on: June 11, 2016, 03:00:21 AM
Don't know who this guy is but he lost over 3.8 BTC within a minute playing dice with martingale strategy. One of the largest lose I have encountered.

The martingale strategy is the quickest way to lose all your money when gambling.  He should be doing the reverse.  The more and more he loses, his bets should be getting smaller and smaller.  And as he wins, bets should be getting bigger.  To become a consistent winner is to keep your losses small and your winners big.  Your losses will be more compared to your wins, but snce you're only losing small, your big wins will make up for them.

Hey guys,

I want to join.  Sorry for my poor posts as of late.  Now I regret fighting toe to toe with the FUDders.  But my normal posts were of high quality promoting decentralization, crypto and giving trend trading advice.

Thanks.

Please reconsider.  Thank you so much.

I will change my avatar and signature if I get accepted.  Thanks again.

12189  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Waves Exchange Speculation Thread - Raised over 29,000 BTC on: June 10, 2016, 10:16:03 AM
Waves fiat connection is what makes it interesting, i see many fiat users getting in through the gateways.

So Waves Platform is going to be like Ripple?  Will it also have a built in exchange with Waves (the coin/token) usable as a bridge currency for easy currency conversion?

If so, then I think the Waves platform will be very interesting.
12190  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How to stay away from gambling? suggestions ? on: June 10, 2016, 07:01:00 AM
If you seriously think you have a gambling problem, you have to come out and tell your family and your closest friends.  They can help you and give you support.  Also, attend Gambler's Anonymous meetings if you have one in your town.
12191  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Waves Exchange Speculation Thread - Raised over 29,000 BTC on: June 10, 2016, 06:40:21 AM
Any updates on which exchanges will list Waves?  I do believe where it gets listed will matter a lot.  I hope they don't make a mistake getting it listed mainly on Bittrex.  Although it's fine as a back up exchange.
12192  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UFC Fight Night 89: Rory vs. Wonderboy. Share your predictions. on: June 10, 2016, 06:16:17 AM
Pretty much an even fight between Rory and Thompson.  Tiny edge could go to Thompson. But you can't go wrong either way.

Thompson hits hard too.  Check out this fight of him vs Whitaker.  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WzY-AGg5CLo&ebc=ANyPxKraTTtDdJP9CzHQgzvus7FrPgOuIIPONVTbIrr5ZjWc9jJgOADjhm8JO_vxJjz3H97NlZ7SLH2KNgAEyppZCa1IfjEd2g

Watford have rejected a bid in excess of £15million from Leicester for striker Troy Deeney.

Source:  The Guardian

He would have made a decent signing for Leicester...  If Vardy goes they'd need someone really pacey to replace him.
12194  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What are your favorite gambling games? on: June 10, 2016, 03:48:13 AM
I'm looking for some feedback, so I can make more games and add them on www.FaucetGame.com

Can you suggest me games which have very low odds against players?

Try looking into Open Face Chinese Poker (Pineapple).  I think that would make a good addition to your site.  It's very addicting.  You could play for hours.

Pogba to Real is just around the corner according to rumors.  And they're giving him the No. 5 shirt.

Could be, apparently Pjanic from Roma will be signing for Juventus for 38 mil euros, maybe Juve can afford to let Pogba go then, also Pogba+Kroos+Modric= insane middle

Damn...  I am hating Real Madrid more and more as time and time again, they keep getting these insanely good players without concerns about how much they cost.  But yeah, that's a great center + Ronaldo at the left and Bale at the right...  They got high odds to win back to back trophies in the Champions League.

I want to see Modric, Bale and Pogba back in the EPL.  La Liga just isn't that exciting for me.

12200  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What do you think of Breakoutcoin? on: June 10, 2016, 12:28:09 AM
Just stay away from it.  Period.  We don't even know for sure if the people behind it still have plans to continue developing their project.

If you are looking to invest/trade into altcoins, I suggest you look at the high volume coins listed at Poloniex and Kraken.  They are somewhat the 'hot' altcoin exchanges right now with high volume and liquidity.  This changes from time to time depending on various reasons.  The thing is the scene is dynamic and changes quickly.  One good example is Cryptsy.  It used to be a good altcoin exchange.  But with all the shenanigans (google it) that went on there, they closed shop and all the action transfered to Poloniex.
