Just stay away from it.  Period.  We don't even know for sure if the people behind it still have plans to continue developing their project.

If you are looking to invest/trade into altcoins, I suggest you look at the high volume coins listed at Poloniex and Kraken.  They are somewhat the 'hot' altcoin exchanges right now with high volume and liquidity.  This changes from time to time depending on various reasons.  The thing is the scene is dynamic and changes quickly.  One good example is Cryptsy.  It used to be a good altcoin exchange.  But with all the shenanigans (google it) that went on there, they closed shop and all the action transfered to Poloniex.

Thanks! I actually went ahead and reached out to them through twitter to see what was going on(like you said we have no idea what their plans are). They answered super fast and basically said that in the middle of the project the developer left but now they have a new guy and he has totally revamped the coin. Seemed to be pretty genuine.

The BRO coin uses two algorithms, Proof of Work (PoW) & Proof of Bergstake. Bergstake is like Proof of Stake – but not… Sort of. More on that later.

Breakout has the backing of poker all-stars Johnny Chan, Huck Seed, Jennifer Harman, Ted Forrest, Todd Brunson and Vladimir Shchemelev. That’s over 38 World Series of Poker bracelets in case anyone was keeping score.

Currently 1BTC = 6,000 BRO.

But remember, they professional poker players and not developers.  So it's not a guarantee that the project will be a total success.  Maybe some of them have good business acumen, but they are gambling degenerates mostly.  Check their history on prop bets and you'll be surprised.

Having said that, why not post who the developers they're working with are and their credentials in and out of crypto.  Although some experience with working as a dev in a legit crypto project should be a must.

Whenever I read topic's titles such as What do you think of Breakoutcoin I do feel anger coming up in my stomach. What do you think about Hotdogcoin? What do you think about Arizonacoin? What do you think about Underwearcoin? Let me know. I don't feel much towards Breakoutcoin.

Is that dev the same owner of CryptoCertify? Look at the coins he "certified" https://www.cryptocertify.com/coins/

Maybe he is Bobsurplus.

Honestly whenever I heard an altcoin that is followed by "coin", I just have this feel about it being cheap, and just yet another pump and dump scheme. Maybe it's awesome, I haven't looked at it, but that's what im saying.
At least with Ethereum they thought about some cool name and not "whatever+coin". The only cool name with coin on it is Bitcoin, period.

You nailed it. Bit(whatever) and (whatever)coin doesn't instill confidence.

Yea but the name doesn't matter, all that matters is the quality and value of the product. Online poker was a 40 billion dollar marker in 2015 alone, those "degenerate gamblers" aka brand ambassadors are the type of elite players that can attract a lot of users-Not to mention the smart contracts and the esports applications in the works. I think if people had not had to deal with so many CRAPcoins they wouldn't be so hesitant to invest in actual value like this coin has to offer.
