tbh dark seems like a good coin, stands out with real use. Id imagine that if it doesnt get dumped on any exchange would be silly not to have it. it compliments btc well

what version of wallet ?? GUys you must understand that you can't just delete darkcoin.exe wallet and download new and expect to sync!!! 1st show hidden folders then go users/app data/roaming/Darkcoin in that folder (DARKCOIN) delete everything except wallet.dat THEN you start new wallet that you downloaded and let it SYNC from start! it must work!!!! Seriously? Was this explained anywhere else? Not in official website at least, or I just haven't noticed. Doing it now anyway. I think you are right... that's why i wrote it... its logical for me!!! and i never had any problems with wallet sync NOTE TO WEB ADMINS!!!! put this somewhere, put link PROBLEM WITH SYNC? and explain to rest of the world that you need to delete files in app data/roaming/darkcoin (all except wallet.dat) |

One note though: Whether DRK will be profitable to mine or not, will not only depend on the block reward but also coin price. If, by the time X11 asics come, there are like 50-80-100 x11 coins, it might be the case that many of them might be more profitable to mine. The large number of x11 coins, is, in a sense, a guarantee for ASICs appearing at some point.
Sure, an abundance of X11 coins would make ASICs appear for X11. But, if none of them are pointed at a DRK pool, we still have The Bomb scenario, but then ANYONE could drop it. How viable is it to somehow make it so that all the X11 networks are actually one network? You mine DRK, you shore up the networks of other coins as well. Hopefully that makes sense. i dont need other CLONES to mix with this great coin! |
